I absolutely love the sniper rifle in ME2. I miss it now that I'm playing with my Vanguard. :(

I know what you mean KG. The Window is just do awesomely fun, and sniping is too!... Until you cloak, pop up to snipe, hit the trigger.. Then do the reloading animation.

Damnit.

Edit: I laughed doing the first part of kasumi's mission as a vanguard.. with a pistol. "THEES PUNY THEEnG, SHE'S GOOD FOR NO-TING". Then I accidently charge when I mean to reload, and have to punch out the guy I charged, reload, then charge the next guy off the building to replenish shields.

Heh, my thought of insanity mode on ME2 is totaly the opposite of yours, its pretty easy and i rarely die, maybe its because of the huge improvement of combat from ME1.Well,at least no nerve breaking and fist punching through LCD craps anymore due to the awesome-ness of MUCH improved sniper rifle and cover systemB). Of course Garrus has done an IMPRESSIVE job too on covering my back, saved my butt a few times in the heat of battles. *brofist Garrus*

Although the combat has improved a lot, but i'm still not satisfy with the AI.I have encountered many stupid situations where your teammates STANDING behind a cover doing nothing but act like a shooting target practice for the enemies.Don't know about the diffculty thats lower than hardcore, but in insanity mode, they dropped dead in less than 4 secs when they standing BEHIND the goddamn cover like an idiot. <_<

Heh, maybe I'm doing it wrong :P. I'll have to start a new insanity run, I didn't finish the last one. My laptop is too slow to run ME2 smoothly, which isn't a problem on veteran, but it's frustrating on insanity. Besides, it crashes when a praetorian gets too close, and insanity is hard enough without my laptop freaking out.

I agree that the AI is stil not perfect. You really have to assign the squadmates cover places, otherwise they'll run around like headless chicken and die.

I'm not looking forward to the insanity PT, but it has to be done.

Sorry if this is old: Palaven. The Citadel. Why is there a sign above a door I can't access which reads Palaven? Is that where all the Turiens are at? Bioware, you're holding out on us. I demand answers!

(Also, Garrus.)

My two bouts with Anaphalaxis is you throw up first.  Your throat CAN close up before you throw up which is where the real danger is (stomach acid is not something you want to inhale).  Fortunately, my throat didn't quite close up fast enough.  I swelled up and changed colors.  I've been told my skin turned yellow-ish with red blotches.  I was slightly delerious at the time so I don't really remember the rest of it.  So Shepard remaining conscious during full on anaphalaxis is unlikely.  THIS reaction should not occur, despite Mordin's warnings.  If she can digest the ryncol without dying, ingestion shouldn't harm her.  (I foud out the hard way I'm allergic to sulphur-based antibiotics.)

My sister has had a shellfish reaction.  That's where your face and tongue puff up.  If you need a better visual, watch Will Smith's Hitch.  THAT is what happened to her.  This is the most believable reaction.  But IT IS NOT ANAPHALAXIS.  It can quickly turn into anaphalaxis, but this is not yet anaphalaxis.

Other descriptions have been utterly ridiculous.  Hives might be a the only contact allergy, but then that would be a reaction to his saliva.

Glad you were OK.  Interesting, I'm going to save this for future reference. (I don't really write, but. Personal reference.)

And if you were going to have a reaction to Garrus AT ALL... ingestion IS NOT the only way to do so.  He'd better have a turian condom, is all I'm saying.

THIIIIIIIS, plus the point about ingestion.  I love me some Mordin and I accept what he says as fact in-universe, but yeeeeah I feel like we have more pressing issues than just ingestion if Shep's gonna have to have a reaction.

This is why I generally try to accept that Shepard didn't have a reaction, that way we don't have to worry about inconsistencies with Bioware's writing and scientific fact.  Of course, we would know how it went if we had some ****ing after-romance dialogue, Bioware.

When I write it (if I go into that much detail)... Garrus will be immune and Shep's "upgrades" means she's fine.

And thanks.

Sounds like your laptop and I have the same philosophy :
1) See Praetorian
2) Give up and die right there. :crying:

The Praetorian fight is a lot better when you've got Yakety Sax playing in the background, like I had. Running, hiding, and cloaking while trying to shoot something was never so funny.

...Ross and Rachel is the only reference I've understood so far. Unless there's another Ross and Rachel that I don't know of... Though Shenko isn't as stubborn as that I don't think. I've already made loads of comments that Garrus/Shepard is like Chandler and Monica in some ways. Haven't been shot, yet.

Links don't even go anywhere. I've been fooled twice -_-  Eh, I've been stepped on in the real world enough that I don't really care.

I wish I died right when a Praetorian comes up. Saves a lot of bother. Only thing that's worked so far is the Collector's Particle Beam.

I... I don't quite understand... I must be more innocent than I thought. Is it referring to the normal/non-oral/anal method?

I'm glad you were alright after those reactions... Not sure I can say very much without sticking my foot in it...

I haven't really looked at fics that much, but I don't think using the allergic reaction is that interesting. It's been emphasised too much, and it seems as if it's done too much...

If I know anything about this is that not everyone is allergic to the same things. Maybe only certain humans are allergic to Turians. Shepard might NOT be one of them. I like to believe that she isn't and I like to believe Garrus isn't allergic to humans either and yes I think that Garrus should have told Shepard what he thought of that experience.

Crap.

Those were Bioware Bazaar reccommendations?

...Violent urges surging inside me.

Post-suicide-dialogue is one of the plot bunnies I want to fic, amongst other things. I have no idea what to prioritize, anymore.

Didn't know what it was.
Youtubed it.
Realised what it was.
Totally agree.

Funny, I always just thought of it as Benny Hill.

I never understood what it's supposed to be. Maybe a turian area? If only Garrus would comment on that instead of C-sec...

@ Yakety sax: That song is called Yakety sax? Well, you learn new things everyday. How can you play with that music in the background? I wouldn't be able to focus. The thought of it alone cracks me up.

Also, Garrus.

The thing is, I really wanted Shepard to be allergic to turians because I didn't want everything to work out in a nice neatly bundled package.  They're two different species.  Everything should not be automatically hunky-dory, there are things that could go horribly horribly wrong. A presented obstacle that turns out to be nothing doesn't do anything for me.

Unfortunately,  like I said before: because of the weird ScienceFails I have to assume it went right.  I still want there to be at least some complication though, so I like to imagine that the chafing is pretty significant, and that two nights of smexytime in a row leads to some fairly serious pain for Shepard.  Little obstacle, nothing too serious, but it makes me happier than sunshine and butterflies and puppies that poop starbursts.

(....I really like starbursts.)

Oh no, now I've got images in my head of Shepard dancing to it with Garrus while the rest of the squad looks on in utter bewilderment.

Someone needs to make that  into a fanfic.

Continuing the trend: Also, Garrus.

Why don't you incorporate it into Fail for the Lost, Xsauce? I'm sure you'd be able to do that quite well.

I like Starbursts, too. We're talking about the sweeties, right?

Eh, for me, I don't really care much for that sort of complication. I liked it enough with the sort of emotional complications and how difficult it is in terms of society, as commander and squad member, as well as human and turian. I think that does it for me.

@Cerrydd: C'mon, it makes survival horror fun.

I don't know much about the Palaven thing in the Citadel. I haven't even seen it.

I do think refusing to allow people to gain support by such methods as randomly posting and heckling is Paragon. And such really annoys me. Especially faking links. Bloody RickRolls...
