We're posting our Shepard's decisions now? Okay, I'll just post the ones from my main Shepard - saved the rachni queen and Zhu's Hope colonists, didn't let Ashley kill Wrex, Virmired Ashley, saved the Council, chose the Renegade options with Garrus (and at least half of the loyalty missions), kept the genophage cure, chose the Paragon option at Tali's trial but didn't offer any advice about war (didn't realize I could until it was too late, so I'll have to wait for New Game +), and kept the Collector base. Yeah, she's a Paragade.



@Rebe70: My main Shepard didn't romance anyone in ME1 either. That was decided before I knew Garrus would be a romance option in ME2.

Yeah... So in ME1 I was all nice to Kaidan, because I figured him the disgruntled and awkward guy friend... Then right before the mission he starts talking to me and somehow me being nice turns to me sleeping with him... :/



But I don't consider it cheating... First of all it was a one night stand, Second, Shepard DIED so if there was any relationship it was anulled. So I don't get how it's cheating...



Originally when I found out you could romance Garrus, I was thinking of going through and replaying ME1, because Garrus is the only guy I liked anyway. Kind of love at first site when he was sitting their at the council chambers all emo and cute. I could go on as to why I love him, but I'm pretty sure everyone here understands...



However, once I found out Garrus was a pimp with his impeccable "reach" I figured he'd understand. It's not like he's the clingy type like Kaidan... I'm just curious as to that whole confrontation works out.

Ah, this is the value of having a username that's a common phrase. Moonboots isn't my main; I alternate between Sollie and Heuksal, both of which are damn near un-googleable--Heuksal is the name of the spear class in a Korean MMO, and Sollie is both an actual name and the nick of the Soldier class in TF2.

How did you all react when you found out you could romance Garrus?  I fell over on the couch and yelled out loud and I was all like

eta:  I just stuck my head into the Tali thread just in time...they were sayin' that if Garrus tried to romance Tali they would kill him...well mister I ain't a-standin for that...I told 'em "good luck with that, he'd prolly shoot you from 100 yards away before you know he's there"
Why the hatin, I don't think we ever mentioned killing Tali in here.

Well I didn't actually know until after his loyalty mission... And that whole ordeal with that cheezy pick up line of having a tie-breaker in my room... Seriously... I looked at those conversations options and was like "Really now? That's incredibly classy." XD But I clicked figuring sex appeal is the first step to a turians heart. Turns out I was right! But seriously, I screamed with joy when I found that out... Like I was seriously filled with the utmost joy.

To me it didn't feel like cheating either. You talk a little, end up having sex, and then you die. I don't know how far the relationship evolved between defeating Saren/Sovereign and dying, but it didn't mean that much to me. Besides, it's been two years. Shepard was dead, but my Shep moved on. It would be normal if the ME1 LI moved on as well. If she (Liara) is still obsessing over me... well, that's not my problem. Garrus on the other hand, is definitely love for my Shep.

How I reacted when I found out Garrus was a LI (through the reach and flexibility dialogue): . I got super hyper.

Ah.. I was like "OH MAN, Garrus romance here I come!"



Then I met Thane ;x. Kukuku. I made an infiltrator afterwards and romanced Garrus (He's sweet, but I'm halfsies on how I feel about the leadup sometimes. The Calibrations drive me batty, until you can do his Loyalty), then Newgamed it and went with Thane again <<.



As for the Tali fans? Probably just the simple "GUY ON MY TURF" thing, a threat in their eyes I suppose.

They're just jealous cause secretly they know in their hearts Garrus is way better than Tali...

I didn't hesitate to point out that anyone who'd like to take out Garrus would need a whole lot of luck, but those people are *determined*...to say the least

When I first found out that we might be able to romance Garrus, that was actually my first visit to the forums. All of the spoilers going around was awesome. I was like, "Really? Awesome! That's the only thing I wanted in ME1 that wasn't there." After that, I finished my first FemShep playthrough (my main Shepard, second playthrough of ME1). I only bought ME1 a few months before ME2 came out, and it quickly became my favorite game.

Also, I think my main Shepard had more of a connection and meaningful conversations with Saren than the ME1 romance options. xD

Kim Shepard, I have no idea what kind of Shepard I have. Isn't that pathetic? LOL (I'll have to find out.) I have several Sheps, from Aelita the Infiltrator to Ricky the Renegade.



I mean, seriously, I am putting myself at risk (even in this crowd) of overstating my case, but when I just happened to ask him what turian crews did to prepare for high-risk missions and it ended like THAT, I was completely floored...I wanted to singlehandedly ask everyone on the BioWare staff to marry me...LOL

I actually bought ME1 after watching the Kaidan romance, and was like "wow, that's really awesome! (Fresh after playing through Dragon Age origins like 10+ times, and my two foot surgeries in a row D:). Was even better since ME2 came out like a month or two after, ha!



Since ME displayed rather funny on my lappy, I had to wait a few weeks before I could sit normally at my desktop in order to play through ME (Which meant I only got to play through ME once before 2 came out shortly after). 2 sat on my desk for almost a week before I got to playing it.
