I'm sick of people pointing out the placement of Garrus' romance dialogue. It is the same with every ME2 LI.

To START flirting with any of the LIs, it's in the upper right corner. Conversations after that put the "Let's stop this" option in the upper right, while the lower right or middle right option is to continue the romance.

And FINALLY, letting Garrus know you have been seduced when he comes up to your room before the Omega 4 relay is a PARAGON interrupt. He's the only LI that gets an interrupt, iirc. The fact that it happens to be a Paragon one should say something.

...sorry for the outburst or whatever.

You're right though.  Especially since no one ever seems to mention that the Tali romance has the upper right option "No, it's too dangerous".  Now that's a "paragon" choice if there ever was one, considering you're putting her physical health in danger.  But the other option is "Only if it's safe", which is also acceptable.  The romances, I feel, are inherently paragon to begin with for everybody (except for the Jack renegade option, of course).

You'd think shephard could spring for some new armour for garrus, the damage looks cool to start with but after you've used him half the game and even got an alternative costume for him its still cracked :P

I thought it was amusing that you had time and resources to ninja fix your ship after the final mission (if you continue play it's nice as it ever was), but you couldn't spare anything to fix his body armor... really?...

What's his incentive to fix his face when he already knows you want to jump his bones? I know I'd hardly care about my own scars if the person I loved most either liked them, or didnt even notice them. I just think he needs to lose the bandage.. (Though that would be hard, since I've heard more than once that the little 'speaker' thing on the side of the bandage is acting like some cybernetic ear)

And Grandpa Vakarian killed fitty men and had his shins blown off in Space War II.

Oh man.  I finally read Revelation a week ago, and am I the only one who gets an insurmountable amount of glee knowing that while Shepard is getting it on with Garrus, Saren is probably rolling in his grave?

You became the first human spectre.
You stopped his plans.
You put a human on the council/MADE A NEW HUMAN COUNCIL
Then to top it all off, you starting sleeping with a turian.

Rolling. In. His. Grave.

'Rolling' my assets. That corpse is spinning so fast it's generating its own gravitational pull.

Dear dad,

It's been a while since we last talked. I thought I'd send you an update. I was on Omega for a while. That didn't turn out so well, but now I'm traveling with Commander Shepard again... turns out she wasn't really permanently dead, but I think I'd better explain about that in person some time. We're probably going to be saving the galaxy again, you know, like two years ago. Well, that's about it... oh, Shepard and I are a couple now.

Garrus

Dad: Omega... Shepard alive... Saving galaxy... Couple... wait what?!

Anyone else hoping for a Garrus/dad scene where he outs the romance? His dad's mandibles will probably fall off his face :P

Oh, yeah, definitely no Brooklyn here. She sounds like she's from farther down the coast or on the opposite coast. She sounds adorable, and I refuse to believe they are cousins. They were meant for each other.

Queens is special, too, by the way. Only in Queens do they "tawk" about drinking "cawfee".

It's funny, the first thing I thought when he said that was, "Wow, they're really not being subtle about him being romanceable, are they?

The second thing was, "But Shep's not krogan and neither am I!" xD His scars are badass. I've said it before, and I insist upon it.

Yes, and it took me three years before I realized that "Lawn Guy Land" was the island. For the life of me I thought there was some gardening shop around here called... yeah. Anyway.  My friend Dawn's name is 'Doah-wan" - less dipthong and more polysyllabic - and "lady" means anything but. Since I'm from B.C. originally, I still get thrown for a loop by the locals every now and then.  "Lawn" in "Lawn Guy Land" is said the same way as Dawn, by the way. "Loah-wan".

(Yes, Gabby sounds west coast to me. She totally sounds like the actress who plays Astrid Farnsworth, Walter Bishop's assistant on 'Fringe' to me - though I think she's from the US South.)

I'm running out of Garrus-specific things to say, so here's a mission for the artists, should they choose to accept it. If you were redesigning Garrus's targeting monocle, what would it look like? Go go go! If permission is given, I will turn said monocle design into a prop for Von. No profit will be made by me, this is a labor of love. I wanna see what the community comes up with.  :D

It's funny I live in Brooklyn, and no one here has a "Brooklyn" accent. Most accents that people perceive as Brooklyn, is mostly generic Italian/New York accent.

The turian suit will have a monocle? I forgot :D Isnt it just Garrus who has one, though? Or are there other turians who have them? I'd hate to think people would assume my turian costume is trying to be Garrus without being garrus, so to speak

Was daydreaming a bit today. Apparently Zaeed likes to lecture me in my sleep. Here's what I can remember...

(In Zaeed's voice)

Thinking of starting your own little mercenary gang, eh? Well, let me stop you right there before you get carried off by your big, goddamn, dreams.

Until you get so big you've got 'expendables', you don't mix species in squads. Especially Batarians. EVAH. Bloody terrible waste of resources. It's bad blood, bad business, and especially bad for combat. Too many tensions. Gets folks stressed.

So, remember. No Batarians. But, if you must, keep Batarian with Batarian.

And keep Turian with Turian.

And Human with Human.

No good ever came from having a Human fightin' alongside a Turian...well, execept this one time....

Raiding the Collector base. Yeah, no *a*. *THE*. Through the Omega Relay we did. Gotta play hero for a lot of humans. *Lot* of nasty tech out theah. Mission was Cerberus, though, so the pay was above average.

Skip to the point: So, we fight our little way in, and some turian takes a round in the gut. No big deal, I've had team leadahs go a *lot* worse. But, the commandah practiaclly knocks me down to get to 'im. Nasty crack in the armah, b ut I guess it didn't punch through. Never thought I'd see a human tend to a turian...

Yeah, she had a soft spot alright, but still damned tough. Flicks her wrist and those bugs wouldn't know what hit 'em! And reliable too! Helped me, ah, take care of an old friend.

But, yeah, collector base. So, we're blowing it to hell and what not, just me, her, and the Turian. Everyone else is already on our getaway. Pilot's laying down some cover fire for us. I hop on. Big blue hops on. But, we look back and there's a big goddamn gap where a platform used to be.

She's a fighter though. The commander jumps, gets a hand on the docking bay , but it's the Turian that helps her up! They called 'im Archangel for a reason, heh. Then I saw 'em...nah that's personal, not business. Turns out they were lovers, though. Hah! They're still out there. Toughest sonsa****es I ever met. Hope they got a happy ending. She helped me get mine....

Look at me, waxin' goddamn nostalgic. What were we discussin'?

   Batarians, right. Don't trust 'em.

   Talk later?
