I just finally checked out the bazaar... it's stupid. If you don't have 10000pts at the VERY least don't even bother. /sigh
Exactly. And to get points you either had to check twitter every 2 hours and reply to the "challenges" and hope you were one of the random 100 people out of 2000 to get some points, or be your very own spambot and post a link everywhere and beg people to click it. >
Anyway......Garrus. They can't take that away.

Oh, absolutely. I didn't mean that everything was feasible. I just love how they seem to have the perfect mix of far-fetched and somewhat plausible. (IMHO)

But Turian Boot Camp is a kinda space camp, right?

There is an entire area on the citadel called 'Palaven', which we can't access. I'm hoping that BW are hiding all sorts of badass Turian's in there somewhere... (well, I assume there's an area. There is a big sign which says it, and a locked door)
FYI - @jellobell. Tanks for the Turian blood info. Now if only there was some way to accuratly discern it's consistencey...

Do want! Keep up the good work Ele~
ELE08, this may have been addressed earlier, but how'd you get the loyalty colors onto the fixed version? Every time I use TexMod to apply a replacement or modified texture to the DLC armor, it borks and shines bright blue.
I tried to swap in the original Archangel texture you can nab when you first meet him on Omega as well as a recolor of the DLC variant. Nothing worked.
Unless there's an actual loyalty version we get too. Then I am stupid. I haven't progressed far in the PC version to know.

Though if they were to make a Mass Effect movie, how do you think they'd do Garrus? (or Turians in general). Asari are pretty simple, just paint em blue and stick on some tentacles, but Turian faces and bodies are probably too alien to use prosthetics. Garrus would probably end up having to be CGI, which would be a disaster if done wrong.
True, but CGI really is approaching perfection. I cite District 9 and Avatar as examples.
Yeah, I thought the District 9 aliens were quite well done, and that was on a really low budget, too. In fact, the first time I saw that movie, the aliens reminded me a lot of turians. Not so much the faces, but the torsos and waists and legs were almost turian-like.
On a Garrus-related note, has anyone ever come across people who say they like the Garrus romance because it doesn't have any sweeping declarations of love or affection, and thus they think it doesn't have any potential for a long-term relationship? That line of thinking honestly baffles me. For one, I don't understand the mindset of entering into a relationship -- particularly one with a close friend -- that you have no intention of even trying to make work long-term. And two, I actually can't help but feel kind of sorry for those people if they think that sparkly hearts-and-flowers romantic feelings are a better foundation for a long-term relationship than deep mutual trust and respect. Tingly feelings fade over time. Trust and respect stand a much better chance of enduring.
Anyways, just a bit of thinking out loud there. Carry on.

Garrus DLC armor has two texture layers, one that highlights green and one that highlights blue in the game when selected in texmod. Both need to be altered or you get that weird bright blue halo. It's still quite reflective in direct light in the version I released which I think is related to the normal map maybe? Either that or there is another layer related to how material reacts to light. Additional research needed...RiotLaFontaine wrote...

Also, it is literally impossible for me to see the Garrus romance final scene as anything superficial. I think it's suffused with long-term implications and meaning to the point that I can't see it any other way. I love the way that scene was made.

I believe that there should be a Garrus Reveal Joke Thread. Similar to the tali face joke thread, just making fun of that one scene were garrus takes off his helmet.

Or a reveal joke about what happens after his romance scene fades to black.

*SHEPARD affectionately strokes his face and they bump heads. They stay like that for a while, until...*
GARRUS: So, what now?
SHEPARD: I dunno, let's get some tacos or something/go to Disneyland/play some Pong, dude!
