Found the map file to Garrus' head, maybe I can try my hands on fixing his face. I mean, Shepard can get his/her face fixed, why can't Garrus? :[

Well, to be fair, Garrus's facial damage appeared much more extensive.
(yes, I know that wasn't your point, but just sayin') ;)B)

Some women find facial scars attractive...

On a Garrus-related note, has anyone ever come across people who say they like the Garrus romance because it doesn't have any sweeping declarations of love or affection, and thus they think it doesn't have any potential for a long-term relationship? That line of thinking honestly baffles me. For one, I don't understand the mindset of entering into a relationship -- particularly one with a close friend -- that you have no intention of even trying to make work long-term. And two, I actually can't help but feel kind of sorry for those people if they think that sparkly hearts-and-flowers romantic feelings are a better foundation for a long-term relationship than deep mutual trust and respect. Tingly feelings fade over time. Trust and respect stand a much better chance of enduring.

Yeah, I agree with all of this.

And I wouldn't worry. The people who think that Garrus and Shepard's romance isn't actually a romance are... well, they're wrong to put it bluntly. This isn't really a matter of opinion as far as I'm concerned. All of the romances in ME are meant to be long-term (yes, even the ones from ME1). BioWare wouldn't just make one or two characters in a game "flings" and the rest romantic. Even Zevran from Dragon Age has a real romance.

If the player wants a fling instead of a romance, they can have Kelly.

Except for the renegade Jack. I agree though, all of the true romances are long term. Would not be fair if any of them wasn't. Thane's romance is long term too, discounting the life expectancy thing.

Ah you're right, I forgot about renegade Jack. That too.

But yes, exactly, it's about fairness really. Especially since Garrus is a fan-favorite that people have been wanting to romance for a long time. BioWare wouldn't just slap us in the face like that. It'd be like killing off Tali if you romanced her.

Plus, Kasumi says that Garrus really likes FemShep and Kasumi knows everything. Take that, haters!

I am struck again with the sheer quantity of issues Bioware has had to deal with when designing ME3. The utter number of demands/requests on them from all sides has to seem overwhelming at times. Some people like to complain about them, but I'm really impressed with how much they do for the fans.

I can't wait for ME3 , this time I swear not to look at a SINGLE trailer or forum about it. If this is the last chapter I want to be completely surprised about everything , the only problem is that I'm a bit apprehensive about how the romance will be wrapped up. I wish I could sneak into bioware headquarters , assume the identity of a newly employed writer just to make sure the rest of the Garrus romance will be written as perfectly as possible. So far my plan involves flying to Canada and breaking a company window to get inside. Its not quite refined yet but I have a brick packed so , half way there really.

Go Garrus!!!!!

This has nothing to do with ANYTHING that's being talked about right now but I want THIS as a tattoo. Right over my heart. "Me and Garrus" forever.

I know, right? It's like the Mona Lisa of Garrus drawings. So much emotion...it almost makes you cry tears of sheer happiness.

:crying:     :kissing:<3:alien:

I have it on a T-Shirt right now. Just buy those printing paper sheets where you can print off what you want and iron it on a T-Shirt.

I finally found all of her comments on Garrus' romance. Turns out my quotes were a bit off, but not that much.

After "locking yourself in" with Garrus, and thus starting the actual romance:

"The word is that Garrus really likes you.  I can never tell with turians.  I think you should go for it.  A lot of people want to see you two together."

Garrus broken up with well (just telling him you want to be friends BEFORE the romance scene takes place):

"I'm sorry to hear about you and Garrus.  At least things ended well.  He seems like a good guy under all that armor and bitterness."

Garrus broken up with poorly (if you make him embarass himself in front of you by rejecting him in the final romance scene):

"I'm sorry to hear about you and Garrus.  Sorry it ended badly.  You both deserve to be happy."

After consummating your relationship with Garrus (This one speaks for itself: Paramour Garrus succesfully):

"Someone saw Garrus heading to your quarters with a bottle of champagne.  I'm happy for you two.  It's not often you find something good in a galaxy like this."

That last line made me smile, kinda like I did when Mordin gave my Shepard advice. It's nice to know one of your squadmates is concerned about your Shepard's relationship with another squadmate.

Reading that line about Garrus's bitterness made me start for a second. I mean, obviously he's bitter over all that's happened, consumed with the desire for revenge, etc...but I guess I just usually forget he's bitter because he seems so reserved most of the time.

Let me guess: your version of the game will open with a Garrus shirtless scene?

Not that I'd complain, shirtless Garrus is badass.

edited to add:  Bioware, if you put in a scene of Garrus sparring shirtless with anyone, I will officially have all your babies.

OK Bioware, I'm doing your work for you, here...let's see...who should be Garrus's sparring partner? I vote for either Legion, Grunt, or Jack. hehe

If the game would open on Garrus and Shepard sparring, it'd be a nice time to explain the combat system, if you know what I mean.

Not that I'd complain, shirtless Garrus is badass.

Opening: An aprartment on the Citadel. Garrus and Shepard are lying on the bed, asleep. Garrus is shirtless, Shepard is not wearing much more.

There is a commotion outside the window. The Citadel is under attack! Without a word, Shepard gets to her feet and pulls on a top, then grabs her guns and armour. Garrus, not stopping to even pull on a shirt, simply grabs his rifle and moves to the window. He looks through the site and takes aim. Shepard is now fully geared up. She goes over next to Garrus and looks out of the window. From Garrus' scope, we can see te chaos unfolding below. Shepard lightly touches Garrus' arm. He nods.

Garrus: Go. I'll cover you.

She nods, ****s her gun, and exits the room. Garrus takes aim again, and opens fire.

CUT TO: Shepard on the Citadel, killing her way through enemies as Garrus rains down bullets from above.

Garrus sparring with various crew on the Normandy would probably result in many of them getting their asses handed to them.

Then FemShep comes on the scene.

FemShep: So, Garrus. Feel like blowing off some steam?
Garrus: I didn't know you were into full contact sparring, Commander.
FemShep: Mmm hmm. Emphasis on the 'full contact'.
Garrus: Oh. ...OK.

They spar. Garrus kicks the crap out of FemShep, much to her anoyance.

FemShep: Garrus, what the hell?!
Garrus: Sorry, Commander. I thought -
FemShep: What part of 'blowing off steam' did you not understand?
Garrus: I... uh - all of it?
FemShep: You punched me. You actually punched me.
Mordin: If I may interject, Commander. Turian capacity for subtlty, underdeveloped. In future suggest speaking bluntly in matters of *ahem* intercourse.

FemShep glares at Garrus. The penny drops. Garrus looks embarrassed.
