I cut back playing ME2 and I still have tons of ME2 dreams.



On a related note, I told my friend Jason to get the game and I told him how he looks like Jacob. (except he is 100% more awesome than Jacob).

His response? "He must be devilishly handsome.", and he gives me this sly smile. I couldn't help but lmao.

      Thinking of starting your own little mercenary gang, eh? Well, let me stop you right there before you get carried off by your big, goddamn, dreams.

     Until you get so big you've got 'expendables', you don't mix species in squads. Especially Batarians. EVAH. Bloody terrible waste of resources. It's bad blood, bad business, and especially bad for combat. Too many tensions. Gets folks stressed.

    So, remember. No Batarians. But, if you must, keep Batarian with Batarian.

And keep Turian with Turian.

And Human with Human.

   No good ever came from having a Human fightin' alongside a Turian...well, execept this one time....


   Raiding the Collector base. Yeah, no *a*. *THE*. Through the Omega Relay we did. Gotta play hero for a lot of humans. *Lot* of nasty tech out theah. Mission was Cerberus, though, so the pay was above average.

   Skip to the point: So, we fight our little way in, and some turian takes a round in the gut. No big deal, I've had team leadahs go a *lot* worse. But, the commandah practiaclly knocks me down to get to 'im. Nasty crack in the armah, b ut I guess it didn't punch through. Never thought I'd see a human tend to a turian...

   Yeah, she had a soft spot alright, but still damned tough. Flicks her wrist and those bugs wouldn't know what hit 'em! And reliable too! Helped me, ah, take care of an old friend.

   But, yeah, collector base. So, we're blowing it to hell and what not, just me, her, and the Turian. Everyone else is already on our getaway. Pilot's laying down some cover fire for us. I hop on. Big blue hops on. But, we look back and there's a big goddamn gap where a platform used to be.

   She's a fighter though. The commander jumps, gets a hand on the docking bay , but it's the Turian that helps her up! They called 'im Archangel for a reason, heh. Then I saw 'em...nah that's personal, not business. Turns out they were lovers, though. Hah! They're still out there. Toughest sonsa****es I ever met. Hope they got a happy ending. She helped me get mine....


   Look at me, waxin' goddamn nostalgic. What were we discussin'?

   Batarians, right. Don't trust 'em.

It's just a targeting monocle. If we're building gun replicas and the armor as well as doing civvies, why not go for variety? Remember that little LED plastic piece I showed you? I can work with that. It won't rotate, of course, but it'll light up and look right.

I must confess, I played through virtually all of ME2 with Garrus and Tali by my side.

That's apparently a RL law enforcement/military standard design, or a combo of images commonly used, including the stylized bird and the two bars. I haven't image-searched it yet but I'm guessing a patch like it exists.

Closing the shutters can be really tough if you leave someone with Garrus. I don't know how many times I died trying to close the last shutter on insanity ... But I really like how he says "Damnit Shepard, what's taking you so long" with a hint of worry in his voice <3

Hmm, sounds like I'm going to have trouble when I do insanity with my soldier. I hope things don't get too bad for him to say that. I don't like when Garrus blames himself and worries about everything he's done.

I'm not sure why so many people think Garrus is turning into Saren. I can't imagine Garrus ever killing innocents, not even if it's the kind of thing Shepard would do. (I have a few Shepards that wouldn't mind/enjoy killing innocents, and I think they would end up getting into arguments with Garrus because of it.) His personality can get a little darker and more vengeful, but he wouldn't take it as far as Saren did. Although, my main Shepard actually ended up liking Saren and feeling bad for him in the end, so if Garrus starts showing some signs of Saren's personality, she wouldn't mind it - the only thing she didn't like about Saren was his hate for humans.

Actually, there's a running joke among my Shepards... they all voted Shepard #4 "most likely to turn into Saren". xD

No no, you should be ok. I really suck at shooters (ME 2 is like the second shooter I've ever played) and still manage to beat the mission. Just expect to die often, lol.

She'd then jump out of cover only to be shotgunned by a damn krogan. 

Damn you, Garrus. Be a man and have your health-regen so Fem!Shep doesn't have to be shotgunned worrying about you. 

Also: I support Archangel emblem for laptop. <3

I know exactly what you mean  I'm playing as vanguard and charge into enemies recklessly when Garrus is on the last sliver of his life bar ... only to die horribly. I like how intense insanity makes this mission =)

I had the exact same experience...only I was playing on Casual.<_<  I'm really really really really bad at shooters, ok?  I'm only in it for the characters and the story.

And it's hard to ignore Garrus when he's saying things like that! It screws with my judgement!
