The only time one of my Shepards actually turned down their romance interest at the end was my first Shepard, who only chose Liara because I wanted to see how the romances worked, and it was just too out of character for me to make him go through with it in the end. I always thought Tali would be better for him, and now that Tali is an option... that's what New Game + is for!



Depending on the virtual person, I have a hard time making my characters mean to them too. xD I doubt any of my Shepards will kill the rachni queen... even Evil Shepard keeps her around because he wants a rachni army. There are also a few parts of Dragon Age that I'll never see because some of those "evil" options don't make sense for the characters who are evil and rational. (Logic says that if you leave a town to its doom, they won't give you an army later.)

I totally found a reason to take Legion to Tali's recruitment/loyalty missions though. > This is a Shepard who didn't think that far ahead. ("Why is everyone staring at us like-- Ohhhh. Quarians hate the geth.")

Voted. Look, Kaidan isn't bad, I suppose. I mean, if you wanted a dark haired Carth minus the offspring. (Sorry, Kaidanites... don't be hatin'... it's just a personal opinion after all.) I did let one of my Fem!Sheps romance him. Purely so she could dump his arse in ME2 after he turned his back on her. (She doesn't forgive betryal, after all.) Alright, thread, go vote for our boy.

Kaidan is...some pixels with lumpy hair. :/

Not knocking Carth. I romanced him.... (Mostly because the hunky Mandalorian wouldn't play along...) He just wasn't... an ideal romance for me. XD And Kaidan is juuuuuuuuuuuust similar enough that it made me go... 'eh'.

Well I have no problem taking on the Kaidanites 

But Kaidan (especially with his whole tantrum in ME2) just is too much of a sentimental wuss. He's like the awkward guy friend you're really nice too, but then they become obsessed with you, and then they become way too clingy and pathetic... Of course, now thinking about it and the trends and fads in today's society, it seems clingy possessive boyfriends is what appeals to the majority of girls *cough* twilight fanatics... <_< 

I guess what it comes down to is that I personally can't stand weak guys that are clingy. Sure they're sweet and all, but they're just so annoying... 

Thus, praise Bioware for having Garrus! I don't think this game would be half as awesome without him

I seriously doubt the validity of most polls on this site. They are more of a measure of the popularity of a character on this site and popularity depending on where the poll got most exposure (like if it was originally only posted in a particular fan thread.) I'm amused even though Kaidan is winning his name is still spelled wrong. Oh Kaidan.

 I love this. This is the second "except Tali" poll I've seen. The first time, a lot of Talimancers complained. This time, most of them seemed to understand why she got left off and were good sports about it. I was shocked at the Kaiden votes overtaking Garrus', but I suppose most of us here hadn't voted yet.

Anyway....I support the several of hilarious and talented posters here writing dialogue for ME3 outtakes.

You have no idea how hard I love these, since I can't seem to get any good rendered Screenies from ME1 (Mods hate me so hard.)
Though DLing them makes me cry inside.  Would you mind if I hosted a torrent and the .rars on my website?  That way people can just get them without having to go through the rigamoral of having a megaupload acct?

As for the poll, Kaiden is second?  Ahhh nuts.  Garrus is infinitely the Greater.  But I can see the alure...

I DID THIS TOO! Yes, I purposefully romanced Kaiden JUST so I could cheat on him and make him cry in ME3. Its not my canon shep mind you, no, she held out for Gar because she secretly loved that space cowboy from the moment he said "Commander Sheperd, Garrus Vakarian" .  For my first ME3 play through, I will play my "cheating" shep first just to see kaiden's face once he realizes Garrus is my new "sparring partner"

That needs to happen more often. It's not that I hate Tali, it's just that polls are no fun if she's always going to win everything. I'm a guy. I liked Liara the best but I liked the LIs for female Shepards better in ME2 so I voted for Garrus. Mainly because females have 2 alien options. I'm already human, I already know how "it" works with humans, something alien is more interesting.

I think I would have liked Kaidan and Liara more if they didn't keep trying to flirt with my Shepard. >_>; At least she could let Kaidan know that she wasn't interested and still be polite about it, but she had to be unusually rude to Liara. (I have a few Shepards who would definitely still be in-character with the "Don't look up stuff about my past! My ship, my rules!" response, but I don't think my main Shepard would have reacted quite like that.) She almost got back into the romance even after turning her down... I had to re-load.

Shepard #2: Why can't I just have friends? o_o;

Shepard #7: We're irresistable. *mutters* To everyone except the one I actually like.

...For anyone who wants to know, Shepard #7 likes Aria. xD



I've also planned two Shepards just to see the effects of "cheating" (although I consider them broken up after Horizon). One for Kaidan and Jacob, and one for Ashley and Miranda... Ashley is my least-favorite squadmate, and she gets Virmired most of the time.
