I like the scars... But for drawing purposes I like him without scars because I find his facial structure really fun and pretty to draw... Stupid mercenary blowing him up with a rocket XD



But I love the whole symbolism behind the romance scene of both Shepard and Garrus having scars on their face.

The people that do the facial modelling and posturing for the characters deserve medals.  The amount of espression they get out of people in this game, particularly nonhumans, is astonishing.

My main Shepard had too many Paragon points to keep the scars. Even though I had enough resources to buy the med-bay upgrade, I didn't because my Shepard wouldn't use a special ship upgrade to fix her scars when Garrus still had his. They faded on their own though... New Game + will just have to fix that though. Shepard, be more evil!

Shepard: More evil? D: Half of the loyalty missions ended in death because I encouraged it!

Besides they're a part of him now. Garrus wouldn't feel like Garrus without his scars. Plus it also helps to show how much he changed from ME1 to ME2. He's like a new person in ME2. If they can be fixed I'll fix them but something tells me that he won't want them fixed. That patch does have to disappear though.

I ADORE his scars. But I've always had a thing for scared men.... I mean, heck, two of my first obsessive loves were Darth Vader(Pre-Helmet removal revealing him to be an Eggplant and PRE-PRE-horrible-prequel-movieness) and Eric(Phantom of the Opera). Men with scars are sexy. Usually. Garrus with scars just makes him more awesome. Most Turians have perfect faces. Garrus shows he's been through hell, right alongside my Fem!Sheps and is willing to keep going. "Just like old times."



That and I like Shepard with some of her scars, too. I don't like full Renegade scars, but the faint hinting glow and markings of them make me happy.



I wish I could steal Aria's outfit. I love how she's all "Don't F* with Aria" to a Specter carrying more firepower than most nations. I mean, part of me wants to go "Okay. Sure." Walk out the doors, turn around and shoot the Cain in there. Walk back in after the metal has cooled and go "Don't F* with Shepard, b*." Not that my main Shep would EVER do that. But the Paragrade one would. Totally. "She's a criminal anyway. What's the problem?"

I'm hoping the bandage goes away eventually--without that, I think the round thing would look much better.  But, we'll see.

Oh yes THE patch. Everybody hates it. It has to disappear in ME3. I'm guessing it just stays there because that part of his head/face was very badly injured.

How much do you think they spent fixing him? I mean, since it's Cerberus, and he's not a human, maybe they did a quick patch job on him instead of the full-on rebuild they would have given a human? I mean, it's not like they lack money or something....

Every time PotO comes to PPAC, I totally go.  Can't watch the movie though.  Just not the same. /sigh

As for the Renegade scars, I'd love for the eyes and the faint cheek scars to be there, but I hate that it goes super psycho dark bruises n stuff when you're a full Renegade.  So for the most part, I get the facial scars lifted for the big finish. : /

Well, he's got a better body(and booty) than Jacob... but his face is just... no thanks. It is an interesting scar, but it doesn't help his face any. So he's a 'I'd go drinking with him but I wouldn't jump him' for me.

EDIT: silent, that book scars me. I'm afraid of it. And... also... strangely curious. DRATS!  You are.. .a cruel cruel person, did you know that?
