Actually you only have to worry once his life bar is red and blinking ... Otherwise he'll still be ok for a while. Believe me I've had him survive with only a sliver left

Glad to hear I'm not the only one getting slaughtered on the Casual setting. I'm with siltsonata--the combat is something to be suffered through so I can enjoy the story and the characters.

Me too, except I'm pretty bad at videogames in general, and Bioware games are some of the few I can actually finish even though I always play on Casual. xD When I got the ME1 credits screen, I was surprised. "Really? Did I just beat the game? That hasn't happened in... I can't remember the last time that happened."

It's a good thing the Shepard I used for my first playthrough was a Sentinel. o_o; She charged at those mercs without cover, shooting like a madwoman until I could select the shield option (Barrier?) again.

There's no way to really tell. Garrus was already at the point where he didnt care 'why' people did anything bad, he just wanted to punish them for it. What if they were innocent? Garrus might not bother to find that out, right? It's a slippery slope for our favorite turian.

He was already at the point where his rage was in control, and that was a lot like Saren. Saren didn't care anymore either, and his hatred of humanity at the loss of his brother was the only thing he could focus on anymore.

Not saying Garrus would turn into Sarren mk.II, but he could certainly lose track of who he is at heart! A turian out for the greater good, not just revenge.

I know what you mean. 6 days. 7 playthroughs. Every one of them Garrus. I kind of feel like I ruined the game for myself playing it that much, but it was just so damn fun! I will literally eat up any DLC, free or not, just for a chance to return to that world :/

I know what you mean. 6 days. 7 playthroughs. Every one of them Garrus. I kind of feel like I ruined the game for myself playing it that much, but it was just so damn fun! I will literally eat up any DLC, free or not, just for a chance to return to that world :/

It's the same thing with me. I'm probably not going to romance anyone else at least not with the same character. The other romances deserve different characters and making 2 more female Shepards would be really hard and time consuming since I would start from ME1 and I'd get to level 60 which takes me 3 playthroughs of ME1.

I have the same problem. I meant to romance Thane at least once by now, and then run through the game with a male Shepard and try Tali/Jack as LIs. But I just can't resist a turian who knows how to calibrate...

I preordered anyway though, hoping that at some point it'll pay off...

I don't feel like I missed out on Zaeed so much so far, but man oh man I think the Normandy Crash Site is right up my (emotional and sappy) alley.

That's probably the only way I can imagine him killing an innocent, if he unknowingly accused the wrong person. It wouldn't be the first time Shepard was involved in a similar situations anyway - sometimes it's hard to tell who's innocent and who isn't. My main Shepard is conflicted about this. In a way, she thinks it would be safer to kill an innocent rather than let someone go who was just pretending to be innocent, but she also cares about why people commit crimes (she thinks vengeance is justified) and had a very hard time deciding whether or not to make the guards stop beating that prisoner without knowing what he did or why he did it.

If Garrus started to make decisions like this, he definitely could become similar to Saren in some ways, but like you said, I don't think he's going to become the next Saren or anything like that. xD Garrus blowing up innocents as a distraction is not going to happen.

At this point, I've exhausted all possible options... except shelling out €70+ for a stupid wireless network adapter. I was saving that money for Ace Attorney Investigations... but it's starting to look like I won't be able to buy that game anyway (they don't wanna sell them here because our country downloads too much, or something stupid like that >.>) , so I might just let Microsoft win this round... >.>

Not certain.  It's not even my console *shameface*, it belongs to my little brother.  It barely works anyway, but I was willing to take whatever I can get in order to play this game (I have a mac).  It has a wireless adapter, but I've been informed that I shouldn't bother anyway since all I have is a 64MB memory card.

Garrus' mission is a huge toughy for me too... On Casual I had no problem anywhere except that mission (3-4 deaths)... Playthrough on Normal, no problems anywhere except there (8 deaths at least)... well and I died twice on that praetorian or whatever the floating laser shooting thingit on Horizon is. Since my shooter skill is pretty much maxed at "normal" level, I have no statistics from anything more "insane" ... Of course, I always leave someone with Garrus, perhaps it would go better on me otherwise, but I just can't bring myself to leave him alone out there

Ouch! Yeah, I guess I really hit the jackpot with my 360. Bro sold me 360, hard drive, 2 wireless controllers, and a wireless adapter for about 75$. Mass Effect and GOW2 came with it free as well.
