I am SO with you on the ME2 vs ME1 nonsense.  They're coming back.  What's more, they've been implied as being integral to the story, since the whole reason they weren't in ME2 in the first place was to make sure that they'd be in ME3.   I do not get the hate. 

The hate seems to be 'cos people are bored and have nothing better to do. lol. Like you said, at least they know their LIs are getting proper roles in the next one.... (well, Liara HAS to be alive, and one of the Alliance mercs, which owuld suggegst team reassembly to me...)

I can't believe that game is still going. It was weirdly tedious. It's taken most of my lunchbreak to catch up (again. I should really leave this thread until I'm home from work.) What was up with all the negativity a few pages back? This is a happy thread, people. Garrus would not approve....

We were on Garrus movies again, weren't we? I can see him being a Death Wish fan. Especially if LI for FemShep and she doesn't make it to the end of ME3.

Now that I'm thinking of it, what would Garrus's Social Link/Tarot Arcana be? The Emperor? It's kind of more what his father is, but sometimes they're ironic in Persona, or what the person is pressured to be rather than what they truly want. Or maybe the Tower? He's certainly not short of calamaties and bad luck. Justice is not his deal at all, despite the name.

Um... I haven't actually played very much of the Shin Megami Tensei series, just Persona 3... but I was quite engrossed in it... probably was one of my favourites, actually.

Dunno if many people here understand very much about Arcana... I've forgotten a fair few of them and what they represent, myself, so I'm actually looking them up. So far, Fool (especially in ME1), Magician and Emperor fit, I think. Magician's a little bit of a grey spot, though.

Fool: innocence, divine inspiration, madness, freedom, spontaneity, inexperience, chaos, and creativity
Magician: action, initiative, self-confidence, manipulation and power
Emperor: desire to control one's surroundings, and its appearance could suggest
that one is trying too hard to achieve this, possibly causing trouble
for others; some elements in life are just not controllable

I think the Tower is more of a "pride before a fall" rather than "constantly being struck by lightning and kicking you whilst you're down" kind of thing, so I'm not sure if that's Garrus.

Well, since apparently I'm not going to bed yet...anybody got a favorite Garrus song? Discovered earlier tonight that I really like "Far Away" by Nickelback for that moment when Garrus realizes that he's in love with Shepard. (or at least for when he realizes he has more than friend-feelings for her.)

EDIT: OH MY GOD, When did it get to be 5:00?   Where did the last 2 hours of my life go?!

It's not bothersome, it's just... Maybe I'm just projecting my own feelings here, but I don't think there's much hate here.  We poke fun at characters, Garrus included, and I really don't want anybody to think that what we're saying here is mean spirited.  Kaiden is a nice, good looking guy!  Much more handsome than our ugly bff (see, I'm doing it!) so feel free to shove back when we push it.  We are nice!  We have fun!  People get drunk!

Okay, I'm clinically insane sometimes, and sometimes the other posters here entertain me by going along with it. It's all about the love in here.

That's the one thing.  We do feed off of each other's crazy in here. Like a big....CrazyFire.  With CrazyKindling.

If you can handle that, then all things should be well.

(Blurrghghg....can't fight off the Liara votes.  It is almost 6:00 in the morning. Whatever Mordin, you and I shall go do SCIENCY things and they will all be oh-so-jealous.)
