Power Point ending like Dragon age? ..... do that and i will crack the disc into half and space it ! >=(  since this is the end of an EPIC trilogy, i expect it to ends with a whole fleet of Council and non-council species warships under Commander Shepard's command wiping out the Reapers, or something as epic as that. Finally with romantic and heart melting FULLY ANIMATED SCENE with our LI Garrus as epilogue. >=)

It's actually very difficult to come up with character models.

I don't think that "conteent people may not even get to play" is a valid argument. If someone makes mistakes and characters die as a result of the suicide mission, it's extremely easy to reload and do it over again. If someone intentionally kill squad mates off, I am of the opinion that they should not complain upon getting less content. We should get consequences for squad mates dying in the suicide mission, otherwise the whole suicide aspect means nothing. The game whole game was emphasizing the "make your squad mates survive," if it doesn't matter if they survive it was a stupid gimmick.

This indeed. I assume pretty much everybody has at least one PT with everyone surviving. If you intentionally lose someone, then live with it.

This.  It really sucked you didn't get a victory smooch from the ME1 LI. ;)

Ha, oh I want so much of Bioware. And I believe they want to give much. But then we all settle back down to earth. I try to set reasonable expectations. Right now I just want my favorite squadmates back. Hopefully a reasonable hope.

I do really want a satisfying conclusion to romance arcs though. How many Bioware games have had really great ending moments to the romance arcs? They seem to try to keep them separate from the main story. It would be nice if they would make it a nice punctuation to the end of the story. Fade to black about thirty seconds sooner if you never pursued anyone.

Edit:  Really cool banner, cerry!

I will.  I plan on going around recruiting people for my dangerous mission, and then heading to the bars.  And if I find anyone dressed as Garrus, they are getting a big kiss from me as well as a headbump.
"I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite drink at CONvergence."  I hope they have a drink called ryncol.  It's probably everclear and something else equally dastardly.

I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite idea on the internet. Almost makes me want to go.

And Mass effect drinks are one of my new pet projects!  Like these, only Mass Effect. I need them to go with my Mass Effect Shot glasses, baby.  Unfortunately I'm terrible at mixing drinks; I usually let other people do it for me.  The only one I have a chance at is Ryncol because that's supposed to taste terrible.  I'm just going to take everything I hate and put it in a glass.

Anybody have ideas for what would be in a Garrus cocktail/shot?

I wake up to find not only has Garrus fallen but Mordin? I knew that game was silly when I looked at it. Now I KNOW it is silly.

I guess I'm just a mean unfeeling person, but I really don't have anything but annoyance for the ME1 LI fans who complain about their LI vs ME2 LI. Look, some of us didn't romance anyone in ME1 and were irked, annoyed, and disappointed in the options. ME2 is when we get some candy. They had their candy. We should all be happy and looking forward to getting our candy together in ME3. Worry about that. Not ME2 being unfair because they don't get more candy. This is, of course, my opinion but... seriously. You got a LI, met them again, and had a rocky period in the relationship. (Those happen in real life. Something this traumatic understandably causes some 'issues' in a romance. I actually didn't mind having the playthrough where I romanced Kaidan where he turned around and blew up at me in ME2. It was logical because he was angry for a, to me, understandable reason.)

THISSS.  I do get how disappointing that must have been, (Horizon especially) but man, I went through ME1 romancing no one and pretending that Garrus and Shepard were getting it on.  What's worse, I never believed there was a possibility of an ME2 romance with him, so I figured that was as good as it was gonna get. (Actually, maybe that's a blessing in disguise. Less room for getting your heart broken.) So I didn't even get an LI in ME1, that wasn't exactly awesome either.  I think we're all on the same page now; we've all had one game with our LI of choice.  Now we're going to get our happy endings (I hope I hope I hope I hope) together.

I'm with you Flammie.  Lack of avatar variety makes me sad. :crying: I'm thinking about hijacking the little brother's PC again this weekend and seeing if I can't get some custom avatar action going on. My Shep, probably.  Or my Shep and Mordin.  Waitwaitwait, OR My Shep and Mordin and Garrus.

So, do you think we'll get a new romance scene a la ME1/ME2? Or will the love be presented in another way? We got the love scenes a couple or hours before Ilos/O4R. How do you think BW will represent the relationships? We already got the headbump.

I have no idea what to expect. It would be a pity if there would only be another scene right before the big battle, unless they manage to show the relationships somehow throughout the game.

Edit: Thanks Ray :). I want to put Wrex and Mordin in too, maybe I'll add them later.

It'd be nice, but maybe just asking for a nice ending animation of whatever would be nice. Then I think of Dragon Age and get greedy.

I'm not sure. I really want the romance to develop throughout the game, hopefully properly paced. It's most important to see the romance progress in general.

We damn well better! I was sooo PO'ed when we first got ME2 and hubby's girlfriend Liara shows up instead of the virmire survior (while I romanced no one). I was just like "ASH! GTFO, WANT GARRUS!" And if they cop out by doing the crappy epilogue PowerPoint ala Dragon Age, I will be disappoint. You hear me, Bioware? ಠ_ಠ

Garrus sends you a lovely email.  And then we finally know the pain the ME1 fancrowd suffered.

Worst case scenario:

"Shepard,

How are you doing? I'm fine, just doing some calibrations, like always. The job's important, right? Ha!

I hope you're doing well. Heard the Reapers are back in town, and you're one of the few people able to stop them. Wish I could join you, but thanks to a convenient plot twist I'm not on your ship anymore. Even though those two hours before we hit the Omega 4 relay were absolutely amazing, I had no problem leaving you behind on yet another suicide mission. Now you're going to have to collect a new team, and I'll probably just be a guest star party member when you're dealing with turians. Maybe I've rejoined the turian military, if you pushed me the Paragon way. Maybe I've started a new vigilante squad again, if you pushed me the Renegade way. Hard to know, huh?

It's a shame that our romance didn't get the lovely closure it rightfully deserves. But, you know, deadline and all, so...maybe I can confess my true love in the epilogue? I've already got one of those fancy PowerPoint panels ready for me. You know, like the epilogue things in Dragon Age? It'll say "...and Garrus, the brave and honest turian Shepard was infatuated with, eventually married her and had beautiful turian/human hybrid babies with her. Their children would grow out to be great heroes...that, however, is another tale."

Anyway, I love you, and for the love of all that is holy, don't cheat on me. If you do, I'll find you, and it will have heavy consequences for you.

Love,

- Garrus."

Also, I will never get my hopes up for turian wimminz. No bewbz = no turian chicks for you! And if they did and they did have bewbs...well...my nerdrage would be epic.

Totally unrelated, Shepard sings this while whipping her new crew into shape. www.youtube.com/watch
(I dare you not to sing along)

Now I can picture Shepard singing this to the crew after taking them on a mission and watching them fail while he does most of the work (and almost getting hit because watching the crew to give them orders more than watching the enemy leads to that). Then, right before the suicide mission, Shepard says "Time is racing toward us 'til the Reapers arrive. Heed my every order, and you might survive." and the crew breaks into song. Shepard facepalms. xD

...At least one of my Shepards could totally win a sparring match against the whole crew at once, Vanguard style.

Don't worry, they aren't really breasts, they are egg sacks for her millions of turian spider babies.  So it is still alien.

I kind of think if they do everything right and get it all done and done, then give it a nice period and close the book.  So I'm hoping it will have an actual ending.

I can appreciate the function this open ended ending has for the second game.  You can download the DLC they keep putting out and keep playing, and there's still things yet to be done eventually with defeating the reapers and saving the galaxy, so it makes sense to still be feeding your fish and pacing the Normandy.  But they need an ending.

Yeah, the end = the end. If they finish the game with a nice cinematic, then I'll be pleased. When the Reapers are finally gone (assuming direct control we really end the Reaper threat forever), there's not much to do. Other than getting "WOW SHEPARD YOU REALLY ARE A HERO" comments from others.
