Sorry, but I just had to do this on a crappy Paint job:

Do you see the crappy editing? No? Look at it upside down.

Or here, if you don't want to look like a fool.

Heheh... (...please don't kill me...)

I think the problem is, the eyes don't crinkle. They don't on FemShep either.

Like crows feet?  I'm sure I've seen those on her.  Plus he's got some too in those pictures.

No, when a person smiles normally, their eyes squinch up.  Neither gender Shep does that.  It's what makes the smiles creepy.

I finally completed garrus's romance. Maybe more than just a headbutt in Me3?

...I keep listening to that Mulan song now. If I had the PC version of ME2 and knew how to make videos, I would make one of this, complete with that krogan who Shepard needed to motivate, Shepard kicking Conrad, and other amusing scenes like that. xD

My main Shepard would be in the group that wanted Garrus to be a romance option since ME1. (She also wanted Saren to be an option... I wonder which one she would choose if Saren was all for it. Either way, she'd get one and her clone would get the other.) If the sparring option was a joke and Garrus didn't respond well, she would be really angry/let down.

Shepard: What?! But it was a conversation option! Why would the diaogue wheel lie to me like that?
Garrus: Dialogue wheel? What are you talking about, Shepard?

I love how he looks disgusted and horrified but trying to look happy. "Ehhhhhhhhh..."

I think this is the best explanation of that face I've seen yet. xD Which scene is it from, exactly? That picture is everywhere.

It's from Miranda's romance that Shepard makes the creepy smile.

GUYS. Guys.

How many of you watched the Batman Animated Series back in the 90s? The one by Bruce Timm?

Well,

I had this idea. As soon as I stop peeing myself from anxiety when it comes to drawng turians and angles and backgrounds and things necessary to make a compelling comic panel...I was thinking of doing an "Almost Got 'Im" esque story for Garrus as Archangel. The thing that sparked this idea? That krogan dude, Garm, from the Blood Pack. "We almost had 'im."

FFFT. Brain baby was born.

So I need some ideas on an "Almost Got 'Im" story for Jaroth, the salarian. I'll be using Garm's story from the game to cover his half, and I was thinking Talak's "Almost Got 'Im" story could be just before Shepard and Co arrive, when he first utilized the gunship on Garrus and failed to kill him.

OH, and progress on the Garrus C-Sec to Omega story! I haven't even started drawing yet. Because I'm nervous and I hate my art. But the story is coming along.

I...uh...may need some volunteers to tell me if they think they can hear "Garrus' voice" in the narrative or not. As in: do you see what I'm having Garrus do in a particular scene as in character, or too much of a stretch? (BUT HE HAS REACH.)

AHEM. Anyway. Let me know if you're interested! And give me some ideas for Jaroth's "Almost Got 'Im" story.

GARM: I threw a rock at him.
JAROTH: ...
GARM: It was a big rock!

I don't think Jaroth actually had an encounter with Garrus, he was only really after him because he killed his brother. I mean, he was unhappy about the whole 'attacking my shipments' thing too, but it was killing his brother that really motivated him.

@ Flammie: PLAY PERSONA 4. NOOOW. Use British eBay or British GameStop or whatever you have over there, but it's even better than P3. You can control your party members directly (no more bastard AI getting you killed), the game stops forcing you to have five girlfriends and cheat on all of them, there's no ******-annoying 'but I'm tiiireeeeed' mechanic any more, and IMO it's got better characters overall. And it's more optimistic. Plaaaay iiiiit.

Actually, Magician would be a pretty good fit, but I wonder if that might go to Kaidan better (in Persona, Magician tends to be the Standard Male Friend, which fits Kaidan to a tee). Hmm...I think I'm still banking on Emperor.

I-I kind of made a whole thread talking about the SMT games

But if he did...

*JAROTH is facing off with ARCHANGEL. As it is now, neither of them can seem to make a dent in the other's defense. ARCHANGEL lowers his gun and steps closer to JAROTH.*

ARCHANGEL: Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your brother.

JAROTH: He did! He told me YOU killed him!

ARCHANGEL: Killed him!? HA!

JAROTH: Okay, what are you getting at?

ARCHANGEL: I am your brother.

JAROTH: That can't be true!

*short pause*

JAROTH: You're just screwing with me, aren't you?

ARCHANGEL: Why yes, yes I am.

*ARCHANGEL headshots JAROTH.*

*cut to JAROTH sitting at a table with GARM*

JAROTH: ...and that's how I almost got him!

GARM: Don't you usually die from getting shot in the head?

*ZAEED enters with a big grin on his face.*

ZAEED: Not dying from a headshot, eh? Takes me back to the old days...

JAROTH: Oh no, here we go again. Cover your...whatever you hear with!

We damn well better! I was sooo PO'ed when we first got ME2 and hubby's girlfriend Liara shows up instead of the virmire survior (while I romanced no one). I was just like "ASH! GTFO, WANT GARRUS!" And if they cop out by doing the crappy epilogue PowerPoint ala Dragon Age, I will be disappoint. You hear me, Bioware? ಠ_ಠ
Garrus sends you a lovely email.  And then we finally know the pain the ME1 fancrowd suffered.
Worst case scenario:

"Shepard,

How are you doing? I'm fine, just doing some calibrations, like always. The job's important, right? Ha!

I hope you're doing well. Heard the Reapers are back in town, and you're one of the few people able to stop them. Wish I could join you, but thanks to a convenient plot twist I'm not on your ship anymore. Even though those two hours before we hit the Omega 4 relay were absolutely amazing, I had no problem leaving you behind on yet another suicide mission. Now you're going to have to collect a new team, and I'll probably just be a guest star party member when you're dealing with turians. Maybe I've rejoined the turian military, if you pushed me the Paragon way. Maybe I've started a new vigilante squad again, if you pushed me the Renegade way. Hard to know, huh?

It's a shame that our romance didn't get the lovely closure it rightfully deserves. But, you know, deadline and all, so...maybe I can confess my true love in the epilogue? I've already got one of those fancy PowerPoint panels ready for me. You know, like the epilogue things in Dragon Age? It'll say "...and Garrus, the brave and honest turian Shepard was infatuated with, eventually married her and had beautiful turian/human hybrid babies with her. Their children would grow out to be great heroes...that, however, is another tale."

Anyway, I love you, and for the love of all that is holy, don't cheat on me. If you do, I'll find you, and it will have heavy consequences for you.

Love,

- Garrus."

LMAO. I have that on my ipod, and I've actually listened to it while MEing before. I can see Garrus just getting annoyed that she doesn't think he's good enough, so he decides to tackle her and prove her wrong...

/facepalm
Don't
feel bad.  i didn't get it till you pointed it out, though there was
the idea I was missing something.  Don't forget the symbolism of Omega,
period.
You wanna talk oblivious? It's been 3 years - THREE YEARS- and I only just got that Alshely Williams is named for the Evil Dead. I love those movies to the point that I can discern theatrical from directors cut based on about 3 minutes of viewing, and have had sveral fish called 'Ashley Williams', and yet, I made that connection today! *facepalm*

If we are going to go into the symbolism of Afterlife and Archangel, you could get into some pretty interesting debates about the symbology of Archanagels in general, and what implications thsat could have for Garrus' role in the future (were that line of thinking played out into ME3, that is...) For example, Lucifer was an Archange who turned (No,I am NOT going to go down the whole betrayal route again... that just winds people up and Garrus as betrayer would be a pretty dumb move, IMO), Michael is (in most mythologies involving Archangels) The right hand commander of the heavenly armies, the angel of death, the angel of judgment and retribution, the angel who vanquihed Lucifer, and (in some beliefs) actually another aspect of Jesus himself (and we've all heard the 'Shep is Jesus' theory. lol). Now, if you fit any of that into the ME universe, you get a sense that in the final battle, such a force would have an immensly important role to play immediatly second to the protagonist.

However... this is silly conjecture and english lit student interpreation and speculation, so I'll stop now. Just got set off on a train of thought there which I found found interesting.

I actually lolled! (not nearly as violated as he looks when FemShep is on his knee - the awkward all over his faces goes into down right uncomfortable!)

Man, this thread is really picking up steam. I fear there may have been serveral more pages to catch up on since I started typing this!

If Garrus became a vigilante again, my FemShep would insist he call himself Archangel, and wear an awesome uniform/costume! She would then probably want to join him with an alias of her own. They could have awesome space adventures!

@Umanix - your mentioning of Batman: The Animated Series made me long for Kevin Conroy pplaying Papa Vakarian. Him and Keener in coversation? Their voices would melt the universe!  Also, there's be something fitting about Garrus' da' being played by Batman. 'S all I'm saying.

Sorry for post length. I got carried away...
