Man, I am so childish because now that's bothering me.  I'm going to have to change my canon.  I wanted her to be from Phoenix originally originally (before Lousiana) since I'm an Arizona girl, but I do wonder if Phoenix could last as well, being a city in an arid region and all, and with our water issues...(Environmental Science major.  These are the things I think about, and I am rather pessimistic on the subject.)

Don't worry.  Mine's a mix of red and brown.  It's more red in the summer though.  We're getting there.  Also, I totally don't have the short Shepard hairdo IRL.

@Silt - Honestly, I think the big cities now a days will be Megacities in the future and you're going to have cities in Montana where there were none before.  Rhode Island has like 1/50th the land mass of Montana and yet we have almost 2million people to Montana's like 500K.  It's scary.
As for Phoenix, if the ME books are right, it's no longer the USA, it's the USNA (United States of North America) so it makes me think that Phoenix might be a big hub as the US city that now has Mexican access?  Same with Houston, now that I think about it.  All the Northern states/cities might have Canadian/Quebecian mixing along with the US people too.

Edt, re CityTalk:  It's not whether or not they'll be useful in the future, It's more that I'm not certain we'll be able to sustain them long enough to last that long.   I think Phoenix would be one of the largest cities in North America if it could last that long.  Just went to Mexico last weekend though, and checked out their water situation just south of the border...they need more water than they're getting, too, worse than AZ cities by far.  So if Phoenix can't make it...And Montana's got a whole host of its own problems, actually, they're losing soil structure like crazy with all the deforestation (*points to username* I love me some soil) and then there's the problems left over from the mining...

Bioware sounds like its taking the optimistic route though, so I probably shouldn't worry about it too much. I'm overthinking this.

ANYWAY.  What were we talking about?

I'm gonna guess Garrus.

My Shepard's a red-head Sentinel, though it does look like mahogany. It's something, I guess.



We really should stop fighting and cooperate in our loving of Garrus. If he has to choose, he'll choose for himself, and we'll respect his decision. (Pick me, Garrus!)

Yeah, I've got the shorter hairdo.  The default one I believe.  Also, I went with New York cause it seems to make sense with her love of Broadway music and we're told by Captain Bailey that it's still around.  My Shep has enough of my personality traits (and now appearance.  I swear it was unintentional) that I didn't want to make her Minnesotan as well.  Minneapolis and St. Paul don't scream future megacity to me.  Who knows, maybe they'll merge into massive super city in 150 years.

And now to be on topic, I wonder if Garrus would be willing to teach Shep how to fix the mako/calibrate the guns/snipe properly.  He can do so much stuff my vanguard can't.  I want her to learn!
