I had thought of my own Shepard as one of the Neutral alignments (particularly chaotic neutral) but according to this quiz, she's Lawful Evil. Like Darth Vader.

And if there could be such a thing as Chaotic/Lawful Good, that'd be Garrus.

Also, to avoid being OT, I think that it's flaws that make a character interesting. Perfect people are no fun. All the greatest characters have flaws: flaws are what make them human and relatable. Not that any of the ME characters are unflawed, but I don't get trying to pretend said flaws don't exist, if you get my meaning. But then, each to their own.



Also, turns out posting here while being in Garrus relates firefights is counterproductive to keeping him alive.

Basically, it's a picture of a pregnant Shepard with Garrus sitting next to her squeezing her stomach. Most of it is the implications.

Maybe it'd be less disturbing if you consider it as Garrus being a visitor to Shepard being checked up on, and the father being an actual human, taking the picture, whose hand you can see?

Flaws are what make characters interesting. Super Mega Awesome Guy who has no flaws and can do anything is boring. Every character has flaws, including Garrus, and that's part of what makes him more interesting.

Read back in the thread 10 or so pages... maybe more now. And you'll see it. It's pretty... just... wrong. Very wrong. And it makes most of us squick to see it. It's just... WRONG.

Yeah, nobody likes a super perfect guy, and Garrus has flaws that don't make you hate him. ("I'm genetically perfect but am a cold soulless *****" "I'm boring and say cheesy lines when you romance me"), which makes him an even better, fleshed out character, but not something that you hate him for.

Hmm... quoting and turning the post into raw BBCode seems to indicate the forum changes it to the RGB(xx, yy, zz) standard, but that one's more complicated than the hex code (the #FFFFFF) colour code. Even easier would have been (colourname), for example, the pink I used was salmon, so [color= salmon].

...Damn, I could do Garrus' paperwork and computer work for him. He'd probably be better at firing algorithms and system calibrations, but he hates paperwork, so I could be his secretary XD.

Exactly. Garrus was wounded by the mech in his recruitment mission (a flaw) but took it very well. You could say that what partly makes characters interesting is how they respond to their flaws, limitations, and conflicts.
