Hm, interesting point.  While I find that easier to believe (and if it showed up in the game as that interpretation, I'd accept it.) I'm still not totally sold.  I'm trying to think why...I guess it's because I don't think I see Garrus reflecting on "what ifs" or "could've beens" too much (unless I'm totally blanking. Someone remind me?) .  He has regrets, sure, but he doesn't seem too much the type.  He's a man of action.

BTW, if you want to make text multiple colors, you have to highlight each paragraph individually.  Every time you hit "enter" it screws it up otherwise.

I like how FemShep is happy to see him and kind of opens her arms in a hug type motion. Then she realises how beaten he is, and gets concerned, and backs off. Shepard is the first friendly face he has seen in a while, but let's not forget: he's one of the first she has seen as well (She saw Tali, but then Tali abandoned her again. )

I KNOW I was.  Seriously, even when I try really, really hard to separate my Garrus love from my honest assessment of the game, and mostly succeed (even if for a few seconds), I have to admit that's one of the coolest things I've ever seen in a game.  Cool enough for me to show my kids.  "You guys have to see this!!"

You know it just doesn't make sense any other way...I mean when you approach him about blowing off steam, I GUESS he could just be talking about sex and sex only when he "never considered cross-species intercourse" but that leads me to believe that he never thought about Shepard in a romantical type way ever. I think his feelings start to hit him when he tells Shep to find something closer to home.

A line about the attack could be plausible but only if he talks about what it was like to lose his friend and respected CO. Do not want cheese from Garrus EVAR.

Which reminds me, if I read one more misleading starts-out-great piece of sugar-crusted fanfic that just drips with Garrus "OMS I've always lurved u shepard! HURR!" I will pawnch a mofo. *insert Saren tantrum*

Meh...Found out Peter Steele died and it made me cranky....

There were some all over the place.  I guess he didn't want to just pile them up.  It might have been that some died in different rooms, but I just mean that he lined them up.

I would find it cool that Garrus painted his own face with his own blood and it would also be interesting if that was the way all Turians painted their faces. However I doubt Turians have white, red, yellow and green blood to do that. Of course maybe it's just Garrus that's crazy or badass enough to paint his face with his own blood.

I'm a save ****.  I do that for every unique Garrus or Mordin dialogue that I like. (It gets...a little cluttered. Mordin talks A LOT.)

I think, as others have said, it has to do with the fact that Garrus has a really small hatedom. Ashley, Jacob, Liara, Miranda, Kaidan, Tali... they all have people who absolutely hate them. I've yet to really run into a Garrus hater. I'm not entirely certain why that is, but I think it may have to do with the fact that A) he's rough around the edges, and people love generally that in a character (and especially a romance), and the behavior his more extreme (female) fans exhibit is considered more acceptable because he's a male character.

That's just my 2 cents though, so take it as you will.

I also think we should all be damn proud as Garrus Supporters how we behave in this hyar thread.  Like when the person came and posted that Garrus was the coolest character in the game, but this thread was "creepier than hell"...I thought as a body we came off as restrained, logical, and decidedly nonhostile.

No, he's deff using his own blood to do the facepaint. Check how he scratches his own shoulder to do it. (Is a detail-wh***. If no one has already figured that out.) It is a neat idea, since his markings are blue and his blood is blue.  I thought it was pretty bad*** and cool. But I'm warped. /shrug:wub:
