Yeah, i know, that is a joke(maybe? i think a kiss or nuzzle on the cheek or neck is possible). I can't really complain much about kissing, I actually thought it could happen, until it was brought up in a little more detail, and I decided to rethink everything a bit. Still, whilst kissing would probably be extremely uncommon, I could still see a turian brushing lips or maybe sharing tongue, but they'd probably be rubbing faces with each other at that point.



I loved the idea that turian mating was similar to that of an emperor penguin.

Oh lord, Penguins bow to each other before mating. That's not my idea of enticing. It just seems a bit comical.

But I agree I'd have like to have had a little more than that headbump. Shepard could at least put her face to his or something like in that great painting by ghostfire. (http://ghostfire.dev...eaper-156785671)

Bumping heads doesn't seem all that intimate, if they'd have held the pose longer instead of just going back to standing it might have had a nicer effect.

Oh, obviously there are some things for the mating process that you wouldn't import, wasn't aware of the bowing, but I can't really see that happening, especially between Shepard and Garrus.

But yeah, I think less of a head bump and more of a head rub would have been more intimate. Passion's nice, but intimacy can be deeper.

Random thought. Maybe I'm just biased, but do any of the other squad mates make Shepard smile as much as Garrus does? Maybe I don't pay attention enough but it seems that he always gets the most smiles out of her.

I just wish that Shepard actually reacted to the headbump instead of just standing there like a statue. Garrus raises his hand to touch her shoulder and she just...stands there. It'd have been a bit more intimate with a head rub (gotta watch out for forehead chafing, though!) and maybe Shepard touching his chest instead of not reacting at all.

Not that I'm complaining though, the romance scene was awesome.

...You're right, actually, I don't see any other squad members make Shepard smile as much. They all seem quite business-like and seriously military, even if Shepard is getting to know them, even Tali. Garrus can still be amazingly professional, but it doesn't stop him from having a personality, and it showing. Aww...

I think Garrus and Shepard share a similar sense of humor. They are quite like-minded IMO.



I was wandering along the river listening to my ipod, and In the Arms of An Angel came on, and Garrus/Shep popped into my head. I'm not one for mushy, but have you listened to the lyrics? Fitting, much?



Then Magic Dance came on, and I got all happy again.

Eh, I'm not saying I wouldn't like a love scene, or passion, but I kinda like intimacy and tenderness.

Technically Garrus's "Making Shepard smile" count will skyrocket if you constantly repeat his romance intermission dialogue (the dialogue he uses after the first and second romance conversation). She always smiles like she needs to poop after that.

I guess Mordin does make her smile, too, but I always think about how serious Mordin is, especially when talking about the genophage.

Jacob... well, it makes nearly all femSheps null and void, anyway.

I honestly don't listen to songs that make me think of Garrus and Shepard...

I was kinda the opposite....I'll settle for the sweet scene in ME2 because really it amkes sense for now, but in ME3 I better see some ME1-scale passion, dagnabit. I was lukewarm about the Kaidan romance but the love scene itself was pretty yum. I mean, the *Grab**Omnomnom*. You may not be able to make out with Garrus but we should have at least something similar- they're a battle couple, for crap's sake.

Ray: You made me LOL. Yeah, humans give rings for love/engagement, it would be so hilariously adorkable if Garrus came up to her mid-game all awkward and pressed something into her hand.
