Oh yeah that's true. Both are pilots, both crack jokes, both are the unwilling hero types, both you can't really romance because the game designers are cruel like that.
I dunno, I thought Garrus seemed to say a lot more funny/sarcastic stuff compared to the first game. Eh, oh well. I should be lurking.

Garrus is much darker in ME2, maybe that's why I like him over him in ME1.
