We are at the frontier of creepy. Finding new dimensions of wrong.

Is this why we all feel compelled to be alcoholics?

Oh, I can only imagine the awkwardness which would ensue if Garrus magically became real and had to endure some of our conversations. How would he cope?

He would just turn off his translator and zone out.

The mind definitely boggles at that one.

edit after reading Ray's post:  Where is this translator located on one's body, anyway?

I dunno, guessing an implant.  Or maybe it's like in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and they all have babelfish in their ears.  Or ear equivalents.

I think the translator's a brain implant.

Also, I approve of aforementioned Garrus graffiti. IF KIDS CAN DO IT...

If I ever get a chance to paint my room using graffiti, I'm certainly making a Garrus drawing.

On a side note, I just played through the Archangel mission while listening to this and this. It was awesome.

It's taken me like a decade but Green Day is slowly growing on me.  And these songs help. :D

He might know enough English to be able to figure out what we're talking about.

YES.  Now I suddenly want to make a playlist and name it "Songs To Headshot Mercenaries To."

Then he might be chilling in a corner, hugging his knees.  And rocking.

I bet he'd react like this. Note, this was my original intention back when I drew this:

He'd leave to collect an old record player and a simon game and such so he can phone home.

Edit: Please God don't let sex with cupcakes become a meme here.

Awareness of rule #34 should negate said surprise. lol

Actually, on the translator note: I get the audio transtaion thing (would love to hear Turians speak in their native tongue. As a spieces they sound lovely when translated. You'd think their actual voices bare some similarity...), but isn't it convenient that all the datapads and pdas Shepard comes accross are written in English? Or do they have psychic PDAs as well?

People have ocular or neural implants, or something like that, to translate visual text in real time.

Verily. Or rather Noooooooooooooooo!

I feel like that link should be a firefox addon. The internets necessitates it so often.

@Collider. Ah. OK. Makes sense, I guess... (I wonder if anyone isn't implanted or cybernectically enhanced in some way in the future...)

@Ray You brought this down on all of us!! ;)

Seriously, though. Poor Garrus. No wonder he needs to bring wine.

I take all the blame for starting the actual idea. Pelt me with your rotten tomatoes and wine (you bloody drunkies), not Ray Joel Oh ^_^;;

GARRUS IS MAGICALLY REAL?!!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!

Oh.... "if"....

I think anybody being in close proximity to their fans, especially to fans like us, isn't healthy. Like the idea of him switching off his translator.

I remember bringing up the idea of him hacking into the Earth's internet from space... and being incredibly worried. I think it may actually stop him or turians from visiting us.

Hey, I'll bet we can make the Garrus figure sell out. Pre-ordering FTW.
Posting mostly for the sig solidarity. And to check up on you poor Europeans dealing with all that volcanic ash. :(
Just
got back from the park with the kids....brought sidewalk chalk...wrote
"Garrus" in blue chalk on the park sidewalk just because I could....may
have a problem.

I think the ash is being overhyped in
the UK. My bro got some on his car, and a few folk were wandering about
with covered faces here today, but I think they were being drama
queens. We are emant to be getting it, but I've not noticed yet...
Mostly it's the flights that are being affected. My housemate may not
get back from her holiday tomorrow. Anybody here on the continent?

lol
- suddenly the idea of writing 'Garrus' on the pavement in chalk at
random locations seems like a wonderful idea to me. I may do that
someday, just to blow people's minds!

There's... volcanic ash around? I really need to watch the news/get out more.

And, Garrus writing is awesome. I actually saw chalk writing on the floor when I was at the park... I should have written Garrus and run, myself. Though I didn't have any chalk.
