Oh, I can only imagine the awkwardness which would ensue if Garrus magically became real and had to endure some of our conversations. How would he cope?

The mind definitely boggles at that one.

Also, I approve of aforementioned Garrus graffiti. IF KIDS CAN DO IT...

If I ever get a chance to paint my room using graffiti, I'm certainly making a Garrus drawing.
On a side note, I just played through the Archangel mission while listening to this and this. It was awesome.
He might know enough English to be able to figure out what we're talking about.Ray Joel Oh wrote...
He would just turn off his translator and zone out.

Then he might be chilling in a corner, hugging his knees. And rocking.

I bet he'd react like this. Note, this was my original intention back when I drew this:
People have ocular or neural implants, or something like that, to translate visual text in real time.janeym27 wrote...

Awareness of rule #34 should negate said surprise. lol
Actually, on the translator note: I get the audio transtaion thing (would love to hear Turians speak in their native tongue. As a spieces they sound lovely when translated. You'd think their actual voices bare some similarity...), but isn't it convenient that all the datapads and pdas Shepard comes accross are written in English? Or do they have psychic PDAs as well?

Hey, I'll bet we can make the Garrus figure sell out. Pre-ordering FTW.
Posting mostly for the sig solidarity. And to check up on you poor Europeans dealing with all that volcanic ash.
Just
got back from the park with the kids....brought sidewalk chalk...wrote
"Garrus" in blue chalk on the park sidewalk just because I could....may
have a problem.
I think the ash is being overhyped in
the UK. My bro got some on his car, and a few folk were wandering about
with covered faces here today, but I think they were being drama
queens. We are emant to be getting it, but I've not noticed yet...
Mostly it's the flights that are being affected. My housemate may not
get back from her holiday tomorrow. Anybody here on the continent?
lol
- suddenly the idea of writing 'Garrus' on the pavement in chalk at
random locations seems like a wonderful idea to me. I may do that
someday, just to blow people's minds!
