Liara and Tali are the only ones that never shoot Saren unless you have them both in your party. Wrex, Ash and Garrus I feel deserve to shoot Saren in the head, Garrus and Wrex the most since Saren made Turians look bad and Saren pissed WQrex off alot.

Strange... Garrus was my first selection, and he was the one who said "he's dead" and was in the background when the salvage team find them...

I always want Garrus in my team, and Wrex is probably the best out of the others. I'm going to need some alternate playthroughs that aren't canon to get all these achievements >.>

A lot of what the characters say has to do with what slot they are in. For example the Rachni Queen, IIRC one person says to consider sparing the Rachni Queen, the other says that keeping the Rachni Queen alive is dangerous. It's not like this in ME2 though.

That's not quite true. I played around with the ending and took Kaidan and Tali. Tali shot Saren in the face. It might just be because she was in the second slot.

But I just remembered that I read that who shoots Saren may have something to do with their "Paragon/Renegade" score, with the most renegade being the most likely to shoot Saren.
Goes like this (Paragon to Renegade)

Kaidan
Tali
Ashley
Garrus
Wrex

Ashley and Garrus might actually be switched, I can't remember. Paragon/Renegading them also have an effect.

I liked the last part of ME1 better than the Collector Base fight. Seeing the Citadel in ruins felt a lot more momentous. Though I did like the final bit where you're running back to the ship and the Collector General dies. Wondered what was going through its mind then.

Yeah, I think the final boss in ME2 was great, but ME1 was much more atmospheric, and seeing the Citadel in ruin and actually running through it fighting through hordes of geth, before the confrontation with Saren in the Citadel Tower seals it for me.

...Unless they repeat an attack on the Citadel, I'm not sure what they could do to replicate that, because I can't see a ship battle with the Reapers in space as powerful.

Ugh, where were the days when everybody hacked in, picked up all sorts of coding and managed to deduce everything and make helpful formulae for those asking questions...

What? It's just a kitten hiding in an empty toilet, nothing weird or gross. Somebody said Garrus looked like a cat with a toilet seat on its head so I found an appropriate picture.

Man, I always have Garrus/Kaiden with me for final ME1 fight. Must take Garrus/Wrex when I do my impending "ROMANCE ONLY GARRUS" playthrough (if I ever get my game back, that is.)

Indeed. I thought at one point that my first selection slides down the platform for me to save, and the second pulls me up into the Normandy. Lo and behold! It's randomized- my "perfect" PT (romancing only Garrus, straight up Paragon, etc.) had me saving Tali and then Tali pulling me up. Instead of Garrus. Every other time I was diving after Garrus with my other teammate saving my bacon later. The only other exception was when unloyal Legion was on my team, but that PT is totally non-canon. Didn't happen.

For me it's always been the second slot. Maybe you should experiment around with it if you manage to grab a save shortly before you kill the human reaper. There might be some priority order to it, for example it's kind of hard to imagine Shepard grabbing Grunt who probably weights a 1000 pounds.

AWrex does not care about gender, hes too cool for genders.

....Fer reals? In my first two PTs (both with Paragon'd Garrus) Garrus was always the one to double-tap Saren. On my 3rd PT, I had a Renegade Garrus, but wasn't thinking and picked Wrex first, and later he was the one to make sure Saren was dead. Hunh. I do almost wish it was a little more concrete, to give you some choice in who plays what role in certain situations.

Oops, forgot one word there. Meant to say "may also have an effect."

I think Shepard can still hold onto Grunt, quite interestingly. I've heard about it happening.



...It would be nice if we could get some formulae and deductions from people tapping into the files... *sigh*
