...now it's starting to sound like my crew is my family. Grunt = baby, Garrus = LI, Mordin = daddy. No, Tali is not my sister. (is that blasphemy? Nah, it's not about Garrus )

The only person my main Shepard or her clone would "leave" Garrus for is a resurrected Saren. xD But then it wouldn't be leaving him so much as, "Quick, New Game+, this Shepard has no other romance now!" I would not want to see the "Garrus, I'm breaking up with you for Saren" conversation in my game.

As for any new romance options... they'll just get a new Shepard. *tries to figure out which one would be good for Mordin just in case*

I don't think I mean a romantic relationship... but at least one of my Sheps would spend more time with Mordin than anyone else simply because he's that awesome and she isn't interested in a romantic relationship with ANYONE. (She'd rather have a relationship with Legion than with anyone. She doesn't like/trust people.)



Mordin is my favorite uncle who tells me things my parents don't and thinks 'heck, you're old enough, let me explain what they won't' and gives me neat new toys. (And he's probably the most awesome Salarian ever hatched.)

Apparently, salarians don't have sex drives like humans do. So if you want the worst sex life ever, go for Mordin.

Hey, what if you have a crippling fear of commitment, like me? Then Mordin is the perfect match!

(I'm actually here to BURST IN OFF TOPIC and inform you all that I was watching youtube vids of Urz, and my Free Willy soundtrack was playing in the background (yes, I have it, SHUT UP it was my favorite movie in the world when I was 6 and it might still be) and it is oh, so amusing.  I can hear the friendship forming.)

I wouldn't complain if they DO make him a romance option, however. Across different playthroughs, I romanced everyone in ME1 and everyone in ME2. I have some playthroughs where Shepard cheated, some where he/she stayed true to his/her orignal LI, some where he/she waited until ME2 to pick a LI, and one where FemShep stays single.

So if Mordin becomes a romance option in ME3, my Shepard will romance him too. Even though it would just be non-sexual because he has very little sex drive, but then again, relationships don't always have to include sex. Most salarians don't know the concept of "romantic love" either, but there are some who do (like that salarian on Illium buying gifts for his asari wife).

...So yeah.

Mordin's still awesome though, and I always take him along on missions.

Anyway, back to Garrus!

I'm fairly certain FemShep and Garrus are soulmates.

Um... that was Kim Shepard, janeym27.

But no, there's nobody my FemShep would leave Garrus for. Because nobody else is as interesting. The two of them will be through thick and thin.

Tali and Garrus are great. They worked so hard for the romance to work, leaving them would be painful.
