I'm still really hoping he'll turn on some microchip in Shepard's brain and start pushing him/her around a little. There needs to be some good payoff to you being a cyborg.

Here is an interesting plot twist. What if shepard is the next main bad guy? It may or may not work out.

See - I think I'm missing a trick here. I know that renegade Shep is cybernetic (eyes), and Garrus is cybernetic, but doesn pretty much ALL the audio on the Lazerus project go on about how cybernetics were not an option, because Shepard had to be exactly the same? And then Shep says something like 'I'm lucky they restored me to stock.' It's been confusing me for months.

This is yet another thing I hope they explain in ME3. They have quite a few things to explain--but I have faith, until I see them fail...then it's Nerd Rage Extraordinaire! :P

Shep as a bad guy?  Hmm, I'm not sure if I like that idea.  I'll think on it...

I can't wait to shove the Reaper fact into his self-righteous face once and for all. Please, Bioware... Please?

Oh me too.  Shepard, Garrus, and Tali need to shut that ass up once and for all.

I support this :wizard:

I agree.  The ending of Mass Effect 3 should involve parking the reapers' remaining on his perfectly manicured lawn.

*Turian councilor goes outside in robe to get newspaper*

"What?!?  Shepard just left half a reaper on the front lawn?  Seriously?  I just got it done.  Waitaminute..."

So. Much. Win!

Seriously?  He lives in a double-wide?  Epic!

Yes.

What I'm also wondering, wizards aside, is why Shepard's eyes would go red even with implants.

Because it looks cool?

I would love it if renegading Garrus made his eyes glow red. Even if they just gleamed it occasionally.  He has been cybernetically enhanced, after all...

Since it's associated with scarring, I guess the red lights must be coming from behind Shepard's retina. The less tissue in the retina, the more you can see of the cameras or whatever.

You just reminded me of that scene in the transport during Garrus's loyalty mission while he talked with Shepard about Sidonis.  His eye had a red gleam in it.  I remember somebody saying it was from the instrument panel, maybe?
Anyway, looked pretty damn cool. B)

@kglaser: Too slow, old woman! :P

I didn't pay much attention to the cybernetics. But the red glowing eyes and glowing scars are weird.

But I'm a paragon, so I don't have to deal with that **** :P

If you look at what Shepard's body looked like when they were rebuilding her/him, there are a LOT of gaps in bones and so on. I'm betting they had to use some cybernetics in the places they couldn't regrow bone or so on. (This isn't Harry Potter, after all.) As for eyes... eyes are REALLY tricky. If you listen to all of the audio recordings in the very beginning Ms. Bugs Bunny, I mean Miranda goes on about how they moved on to some kind of new type of regrowing and making parts. (I could be wrong, I was tipsy the last few times I did that part, but I do remember it was not normal and had moved onto something else that 'showed promise'.) With all of the nerves and doohickies that make eyes work, I wouldn't be surprised if they had to monkey around with some cybernetics to make a pair that worked properly again. But eh, that's just me.

I mean, if we're going to call on all of the plot holes, why don't any of the mercs in the ArchAngel mission care that I'm wearing N7 on my armor? (Or running screaming if I'm wearing the Collector armor, which I never do because of the GOSH DURN HELMET!!!!) Or why doesn't the Asari Council member just vulcan mind-meld or whatever with Shepard like Liara did to see her bloody memories to find out about the 'reaper' thread? Or....

I'll stop now. Needless to say, we're expected to take a few things with a bag of salt. Haha. (Like, Shepard would set of every metal detector in the galaxy with all of the metal she has in her to piece her bones back together... she was messed UP, man.)

I never practiced my signature with an intended target's last name... I actually cast my entire class in the Phantom of the Opera musical with my desired target as the Phantom. I spent WAY too much time picking through who would be who.... Sad sad little creature that I was. /shakes head

It is ridiculous, but I still sort of love the opportunity to look like the Terminator.  If only we could -nice- all our scars away in real life.

Yeah, I haven't played a Renegade yet on ME2.  The only reason I knew about this at all is from this message board.

Agreed.  Maybe they should have just brought back the old scars from ME1 and they become more severe if you become more renegade.

Or it could have been like KOTOR 2 where you influence everyone's looks.  Post Sidonis Garrus could look intereting...

Just a thought.

I think working with the reapers should be a choice, not forced. But then again, garrus wouldn't approve of working with reapers, so i don't approve.

The Illusive Man could work. He's much to behind the scenes to be like Saren though.

The only thing I wonder about this is how will it work for everyone. Not everyone blew up the Collector base at the end or left Cerberus. I hope Garrus loses that damn patch on his face. It's just so ugly plus it doesn't let me see part of his fringe.

I don't think the bandage part on Garrus's face will be permanent. It looks like a burn dressing or something. Personally, I wouldn't mind if they left the plate as it is, though (I have a feeling they'll never be able to remove that).

I don't hate it. But if it is there for healing, it would make sense for it to eventually get switched out/removed.

I wonder if his default armor will be fixed in the next game.

I sure hope so. Taking on the Reapers in the final battle in broken armor is silly.

"Buy Garrus some new f—ing armor in ME3"?

I like how you refer to a crush as an "intended target." And think that it's nice that you cared enough to cast beyond the Phantom and Christine.

Yea, it would be really silly to have broken armor. I'd imagine his face would get healed too. I mean, this is a world with medigel...

Yeah, he's the only one in either game who had to walk around in messed-up armor. Then we do his loyalty mission in ME2 and we get...more messed-up armor! Yay! :P
