I liked Kaidan well enough. People are going to have different preferences based on what the characters have to offer. Kaidan's got fewer anger issues (though he's not without his faults) than Garrus, for one thing, so that's going to be appealing to some people. And he's human, which is a plus in some ways (though I have observed the alien LIs tend to be the most popular for both men and women).

Personally, I find Garrus the better character. But I can totally see why some people would go for Kaidan. He's kind of a sweet, sensitive guy, with a dark edge (if you dig deep enough).

So it'll be on YouTube well before I file a report here and then go cry quietly to myself over the sure to be heartbreaking rejection of Garrus. I never could do the ME2 rejection, though, so all of this may never come to fruition.

I have one of those as well. lol. I do like Kaiden, but... Garrus!

I just can't see how rejecting him won't be heartbreaking.

I won't knock Kaidan for some. But for me... the nail in his coffin was Horizon. Didn't trust my Fem@Shep enough to listen to her, believe in her? Email to fix things? Yeeeeah. XD Not so much. He's also got his own issues regarding his past, but eh. To each their own.

relationship where lesbians aren't involved.  Show any indication of Renegade in the first game and he gets all BAWWWWWWWW about it while Garrus is standing by ready to give you a high-five... or three...

I know, right?  I thought the same thing (flashback to how horrified I was at the beginning of Dark Knight when that ersatz Batman started waving the gun around)
but hey, it's kinda cute how the mask highlights his eye, so...
