"Bok. Bok. Bok bok bok. Bok"
"Translation: Don't do it, Garrus,"
"My men deserved better... Just... go, tell him to go,"

I'm sure Paragon Schoolgirl Chicken Flammie will find a way to convince Garrus not to. Despite being the reason this was brought upon in the first place.

Seriously, you're awesome for making a mini joke into a debate, siltsonata.

Darn it this new avatar is making me more hyper than ever. Are all schoolgirls like this?

You've got to put all this on deviantaART or share it in some other way, blueL. Not many will understand it, but it needs to be shared.

Any biologists may correct me if I'm wrong, but here's how I saw it:
The hotter it gets outside, the harder your body has to work to sweat and release heat. That's why you feel miserable after a few hours out in 100+ degree weather. Living on a fairly warm planet (although, this seems kind of Star-Trek-y, the idea that the planet's environments are generally homogenous) means that, were they cold-blooded, such warmth would be beneficial- hence you see cold-blooded creatures in envireonments that are wamr throughout the year. If they were warm-blooded, it would be most beneficial to have slightly lower body temperatures, so as to be able to release heat. /imo
So, Garrus is both incredibly hot, and cool, at the same time.

Good assessment...the only thing I can think of that might alter this interpretation is that maybe they have different methods of dissipating heat than us?  For example, some animals have counter-current heat exchangers (the rooster comes to mind, but it's been like 20 years since my animal science classes, heh), that help to dissipate extra heat.

/end geeky biologist musings :P

Thanks for the suggestions. :) *scrolls through a list of pokemon* ...Why does it seem like Mewtwo should be an obvious choice for a Mass Effect character, but I can't think of who? Saren? Sovereign? Sovereign needs to be a legendary of some sort... And I still haven't found one for Garrus. Does the turian councilor have a name?

@Flammie: Scyther! :D It's perfect for a turian.

...Snorlax is the biotic god. xD It fits so well.

(Hope this isn't getting too off-topic. >.>; It's still Mass Effect/Garrus/turian related.)

Yay!

...Now to find a dubious lab ray that will transmogrify me into Chicken Flammie. Any pointers, anyone?

Kim Shepard, Mewtwo does seem awfully Saren-y, or some sort of super villain. Snorlax as the biotic god is perfect.

Call Jynx Udina. Like this:

It will be Udynx

I never did catch up... lol

@Sand King. See, I refuse to believe that bra provides adequet support for performing ninjutsu moves. Function over fashion, people!! (especially if you are avenging a family member, one would think.)

@BlueL You are my hero.

@Flammie. You are made of win!

The whole turian skin thing is really intetersting. I brought it up because I'm ficing atm, and it comes into play, and then I realised I had no frame of reference. I had thought they would be slightly cooler to human touch, because I imagined their bodies were plated (if not cold-blooded, then armadillo style) So I guess I was thinking warm 'skinned', cool 'shelled' if you like. Plating could also serve as a way of regulating body temp in a hot climate. I find I tend to think in terms of sound and motion as opposed to visually, so it's hard for me to picture this stuff a lot of the time. Some very good points though... which have left me further from an answer. lol. I think I may just stick to temperature free adjectives. ;)

And yes. This thread really is awesome. You guys make my day. Now for wine and Garrus before my housemate gets home!!! :D

YOU WIN SO HARD.

(Now I've got CrackFic in my head where Garrus and a Black Varren named Onyx crusade through the streets of omega, righting wrongs and sniping for great justice.  Beautiful.)

Yeah, Kotori Ky never posted that, I just felt like that. So, yeah, I just owned myself. Well, it makes the whole joke funnier, anyway.

Yeah, seriously, this thread was INSANE today, even after the chicken scandal, posts being made even when it was 7:30 in the morning for me (I swear it said you were online, siltsonata). I was lucky I even had enough online session and times in the morning and afternoon to successfully get back on track. I left at page 509 or something. Damn, 22 pages have already passed when I left. That's about 550 posts (WOAH O_O)

The chicken is putting words in my mouth! XD

Silly Flammie. /noogies

Actually, Kotori is stone-cold sober today, even though it is her day off. She's going to dinner and a musical tonight so has to be good. :P

Now, lets see if I can get ready in time to get some ME2 in before I get picked up....

Anyway, have fun, then. (You are drunk, aren't you? Don't worry, you can tell the stupid girly chicken in a uniform and a bow)

But seriously, have fun, and good Garrusing.

...Oh dear lord I just realised I haven't played Mass Effect in a while. Yet being here makes me not miss Garrus as much. You guys are awesome.

Yeah, Mewtwo has "biotics" like Saren, he acts superior to everyone, he redeemed himself in the end, and he's my favorite character... Okay, Mewtwo = Saren! :D

Poor Udina... "Udinyx." xD I'm trying to go for accuracy, but that reminds me of some pics I've seen on the forums.

Now, what was the name of that turian who wanted to name his firstborn after Shepard? That "firstborn" will be Togepi, because it just makes sense. (Even if salarians are the only ones definitely known to hatch from eggs.)

Also, I found a pokemon called Garchomp on the list. xD
