I've been playing Awakening recently, and I want to finish it before going back to ME1 (I'm about a third of the way through), so I haven't played Mass Effect in a while either.



@siltsonata: I remembered someone's Xbox broke. Is there any hope of fixing it, or do you have to buy new?

So I found this week that my office is getting a new instrument. I volunteered to calibrate it.



Do you know what that means? I'll be sitting in front of a laptop for six hours straight, waiting for someone to ask 'Do you have a moment?' just so I can say 'Can it wait? I'm in the middle of some calibrations.'



Unless it's my bosses. In which case, I probably shouldn't tell them to wait.

I don't know about night vision, but I always assumed they had really good eyesight, with their hawk-like eyes and all.  So, maybe (they get compared to cats a lot too, lol)

Oh I've said it before: I love to think that Turians have excellent eyesight, with the hawk thing and all. Dunno about cats (Garrus's eyes do seem shine in low light like cat's eyes though)  but when I think of good night vision I think about something with mondo-large pupils like an owl to take in as much light as possible.

posted, right?) Wasn't she avenging her brother? There is no way she was doing ninja moves in that! (one of my biggest gripes about game heroines. lol)

Anyway, the one on the right with the craaaazy look in her eye.
Everything about this pic is constructed entirely of Win...the sweaty concentration of the fishing-pole girl, the nonchalant whistling, the Flammie-flailing...just...great.

I think we should be proud of ourselves...we are, IMHO, one of the more restrained threads. I told them it's because a lot of us love Tali too and we don't like fighting with people.

I dunno. I'll be honest, the Tali thread freaks me out a little, but...man, if I were an outsider and I just dropped by this thread during one of its crazier moments?  I'D RUN SCREAMING IN THE OTHER DIRECTION.  

My philosophy is: If they're having fun in there, more power to 'em.  Doesn't matter what I think:  they're certainly not bothering me, so why should I bother them?

That's good, at least Garrus fans stay out of the trolling business. However sometime I get angry at the Tali fans, I don't troll them or anything but it just annoys me that the polls section has Tali almost everywhere. It gets boring to see Tali win absolutely everything or Tali poll this and Tali poll that every two seconds.

At least people here don't mess around with other threads. That means we won't have trouble with other fans.
