Yeah, me too. I don't mind when Garrus dies eventually, as long as the eventual winner is a logical choice (like Legion). But it looks like logic disappeared. If there ever was any.

Why would they? The profiles aren't there for information--a bunch of the info there doesn't even make sense. They are just there to promote the game for people who haven't played it yet. And people who haven't played it yet have no reason to know who the missing profiles are.

The only thing we could really benefit from them revealing Garrus would be his age. But we do know he's under 30.
