Yeah, I agree about the subtlety. After the sexy butts in ME1, I was kind of disappointed with the romance scene at first. I was expecting smexy Garrus body and all. But in the end, the Garrus scene is extremely emotional. Professional turian opening up to you etc. Heartwarming

And the tongue... yesterday I said I'm not a fan of tongue wrestling. But that other thing... yeah, let's just stop right here before people start thinking we're creepy :bandit:

Agreed...although I gave up any pretenses of normalcy long ago. XD Back when G-Chat was a wild and crazy place not meant for the faint of heart...and it still isn't, really, although we've tamed a bit. ;p Hmm...but no, I doubt there is a woman alive who wouldn't look at a tongue like that and swoon.  And if she didn't, I would think there was something wrong with her. :3

Maybe she hasn't found a decent tongue yet :bandit:

@Honigkuchen: if you can make the layer invisible, maybe one with the heads for the lulz and one without the heads for the beauty?

Like I said, Mordin&co are on a hidden layer =) I toggled it off for painting convenience.

Btw if anyone is open to a Garrus pchat I'm totally in. I don't know any good places for doodling together on the intarwebz though ;_;

Man, I go to work out and eat dinner and BAM.

With the Garrus romance scene... I initially wondered if I had accidentally shut him down when I went for the paragon trigger, but when I played through the end of the game a second time (in order to save Legion, who I lost on the first go... still lost Sugartits, but I was feeling pretty indifferent about her at that point anyway. But I digress...) I was able to pick up on the nuances and rush for some paper towels as my heart melted.

"No! I must win" he shouted
The radio said "No, Garrus. You are the loser"
And then Garrus was a zombie.

YES.

... at least I got the reference. Nonetheless, I'm ready to get out my palsma rifle and blow up that poll.

By the way, Jumping Jack Flash needs to be on the "Songs to Snipe Mercenaries To" playlist. It's just that awesome.

Sweeeeeeet... and we're actually assembling one? I'll submit AC/DC's "Shoot to Thrill" ... and on AC/DC, "Back in Black" is good for ME2 Shepard. It's like all of my music is new again! o_O

All you need...is a vivid enough imagination. 0:3

I'd rather find an indecent tongue. :bandit:
OK, somebody seriously needs to stop me.  I need Flammie to hit me with one of his lasers or something, only he's gone to roost for the night.
(But c'mon...how can you look at a picture like that and not have your dirty mind get even dirtier?)

I kind of think showing a lot of skin would be too fanservice-y. Let them keep their dignity and leave the rest to our imaginations. And it'd just alienate the people who like Garrus as a character and appreciate the romance as a story but aren't so into an alien anatomy lesson.

Don't hurt me.

As someone who is still trying to erase that first dirty picture from that troll yesterday out of her mind (picture please PLEASE go away), I'll support not having a whole bunch of skin all over the place and leaving something to the imagination. There's a big difference between wanting to see more neck and wanting to see everything.

Due to lack of Flammie, Oculus at 3:10 coming at ya. BAHAHAH! (I just saw this vid on the tv and it's... weird)

Have two romance options.  One involves being all sweet and romantic...and the other involves being sexy-hot and romantic. Kind of like "paragon" and "renegade," but not like what they did with Jack.  One will lead to a "not a lot of skin shown" Garrus and the other will be a "HOT DAMN WITH A SIDE OF STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM/CHOCOLATE" Garrus.  Then we all win. 8D

And some, like me...win twice over. :3

I can see where you're coming from Ray. I was so overjoyed that we got this touching conclusion to the romance that the lack of turian skin didn't bother me. Would've been nice but that's what fanwork is for, right? ;)

I guess it depends on how well they pull it off.  But I wouldn't want to risk it becoming a big joke.  The more explicit and suggestive things get, the more open to ridicule it is, especially with male sexuality.  See: Heavy Risk, Prize.

I don't know why, but I found that video to be win! :D
and it certainly distracted me from the tongue thing...for a sec ^_^

But why didn't you warn me shirtless Jacob was in it!!
Oh well he got blasted anyway. LOL

I don't need a Miranda-smexy-like scene for Garrus in ME3. I thought the scenes in ME1 were very well done. classy, suggestive, but not really showing anything. Shepard and Garrus don't have to rip off their clothes, but turian-human is new for us AND new for them. So kindly taking off his shirt and stroking is chest, hug, fade to black would work for me.

And I just want to see how that shirt comes off, because seriously, that's still a mystery to me.

So, I didn't get to do any calibrations at work today. Oh well, maybe later this week.

I did, I did!  I got to calibrate the UV Spec :wizard:
Unfortunately, no one tried to ask me a question while I was doing it...feh :pinched:

A UV spec?  Like a mass spec?  Ugh, that give me horrible visions of Oragnic Chemsitry again.  We were given those spiked charts and told to figure out what compond it was.  I'm pretty sure I would have scored better if I just wrote 'element  zero' on the paper.

I get to calibrate a new 3130xl genetic analyzer.  It's not as cool as those turian canons though.

I meant the guns on the Normandy.  Not Garrus's guns.  Not those guns either. ;)

Lol, Lord no, not a soft-porno... XD

But I would like to see what he looks like beneath all the armor and clothing.  Shirtless Garrus, or camera-panning ala-ME1's style, is perfectly fine to me. ^^ Still, I understand some aren't quite so eager to see a little more Garrus than we normally do, hence why I'd say have two different routes you can take (not at all likely to happen).

Nah, just a plain old UV/visible light spec.  It was for some RNA samples my boss asked me to read.  And your instrument sounds 1000x more impressive and sciency than mine.
All I can think of is those guns in the main battery must either be insanely complicated to calibrate, or they slip out of calibration too easily.  I mean he always says, "I'm in the middle of some calibrations."  I mean dang, he never even says something like, "I'm just finishing up these calibrations".  NOOOOO. <_<
But I'm not bitter.  Much. :P

Ugh, my brain just went somewhere horrible:  Can you imagine if they had both options for ALL LI?  Can you just picture the dirty one? One for Thane (the mind boggles)...one for Jack (that could get downright dangerous)...one for Jacob
excuse me BLLEEAAH

I just think about the Miranda topless reveal and the Jacob topless reveal and I don't think that would play out as well with Garrus. If they did it differently, so it's not all LQQK at this finely toned mesh we built, and just "things are happening, clothes are not there" like they had for ME1, maaaaaybeee it could be pulled off. Even then, I think things can get plenty steamy with the clothes on. Jack's renegade sex is the -hottest- scene, imho, and no clothes are removed.

I'm definitely romancing Jack on my next playthrough with my imported Ricky the Renegade. I was going to pick the Tali romance, for curiosity's sake, but decided to watch those scenes on YouTube and do the Jack one instead. So far, I haven't had it spoiled for me, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

Yeah, but that's Jack we're talking about...Shep's already at a disadvantage with her considering her...ah...outfit.  I mean...what's really left to remove? XD

Ha, true, but even then, it's more about the acting and the animation than what they're wearing.
