Likewise with Garrus: I'm not sure I need to see shirtless Garrus in-game because it would make me uncomfortable, I won't lie. (I'm the stick in the mud raining on ya'll's parade, my bad.) Reading about it in fanfic is one thing, seeing it onscreen is a whole different taco.

But I do want to know what a turian looks like under the armor. Somehow, some way.  Maybe updated concept art, I'd be fine with that.


It wouldn't make me feel uncomfortable. But updated concept art will do just fine. Until that day, the 'After the Reaper' piece of art is what a shirtless turian looks like ^_^

@ kglaser: The vid kind of grew on me. I've already watched it 15 times or something. But it still makes me laugh :D

I bloody well want to see Garrus with no shirt on, partly for SCIENCE (I mean, I know what a human chest looks like, but not a turian's.....) and partly for the hawtness.



But it doesnt' have to be smutty or stripper-y.



Him and Shep cuddled up in bed after the fact would be just fine by me.

eta: Warlord, that cuddling in bed afterglow idea isn't bad!  they could pull that off...having a conversation about what their chances were, or something...reminiscing about when they first met...I'm liking the idea for that scene more and more :)

Yeah, maybe if it is in a not-explicitly-sexual moment, moments like the ones you guys describe, that could be fine. Where it's not just objectifying a bunch of strange angles and ridges and whatever--I keep thinking back on Evangelion Eva and Transformer porn I've seen, where it's just like "What the hell am I even looking at???" But for scenes where it is a little steamier, I'm more inclined to vote for keeping the clothes on and having the mood be set by the animations and acting.



Of course we're just counting our Flammies before they hatch, so this is likely much ado about nothing...

I was thinking more about a tender moment with a somewhat wider shot. It's more the dialogue that should matter in that scene (the one in my head right now, anyway), but we have the added treat of Shirtless Garrus. :D

On an utterly unrelated note, I just now discovered that douchebag Jacob actually calls Garrus a cuttlebone in the game. I thought that was some term coined by fans. I usually keep approximately 30 feet between me and Jacob at all times so I'm not horribly aware of the nuance in what he has to say. Does anyone have a link to a video or something where he says this? I can't bring myself to actually flirt with Jacob in game to set it up...I'd rather...what is it femshep says to Harkin in ME1? "Drink acid after chewing on a razor blade" Yep, that.

I've explained my philosophy of belittling Jacob. I consider every insult leveled at Jacob as an increased chance that he won't be in ME3 and therefore won't be competing for space with Garrus, Thane, or Kaidan. So I say, let's turn Jacob disparagement into an art. I will concede it derails the thread though I'll drop it.
