Anyway, back to Garrus...Raphael, your letter fic was really well-written. I enjoyed it a lot. I wish I had the time to read fanfics these days...and continue writing as well. Really want to read Sia's stuff. I started one of my own but haven't even been able to touch it. RL sucks.

eta: Ray, she was banned for 24 hours for posting some pics in a troll thread.  That's what she said, anyhoo.
We consoled ourselves with the belief that, while gone, she was drawing awesome things.

Oh, just thinking about a ballroom dancing Garrus is enough to make me swoon. Haaa~
For some reason, I have a hard time imagining him dancing. Or if he does try, it would be adorably awkward.
On the topic of fanfiction that was a few pages back, I loved the letter by Raphael diSanto. I will have to read the rest of the series at some point soon, as well as Sialater's.
I don't know if you guys have read this, but there's one story called "Interstitium" which is written so wonderfully. It's not completely about Garrus (although he has his own chapter somewhere in there), but it's something that I highly recommend.

Because we all know Garrus would do that for Shepard, male or female.  I think I actually linked to the lyrics of that song a while back, just because they fit so well with the Garrus/Femshep dynamic...

I was thinking about ballroom dancing with him *swooon* and that scene from Final Fantasy VIII popped into my head. Think Garrus suddenly spotting Shepard across the dancefloor but instead of pointing her finger in the air, she points her gun in the air and fires off a few rounds with an angelic smile. Then they proceed to twirly-dance and shoot mercs at the same time.



I dunno why but the song Satellite by Guster makes me think of Shep and Garrus. That line "Maybe you will always be just a little out of reach" gets me every time when I think that maybe he had feelings for her before she said anything.

When it comes to dancing, it's hard to choose what place I'll drag Garrus into. I love to dance to house, but as Brass said... Garrus in formal wear? Holy crap! That would blow my mind. I just want to see if his dancing skills are as perfect as his sniping skills. So house and old-fashioned .

I haven't found my Garrus-femShep song... yet. When I was madly in love with guys in high school, I thought pretty much every song applied to my feelings for that person. Somehow it's harder to find a song for Garrus.

I do believe the Bryan Adams song is from Robin Hood, yes.  But it works /so well/ with Garrus/Femshep, doesn't it?  And it's a great song.  In fact most of Bryan Adams' music is pretty good.

And I think someone sang "Something To Talk About" before Shania Twain did.  There's a station that plays '70s and '80s music during lunch hour that we listen to at work and it plays a lot of times during that hour.  Let's see... song about friends falling in love?  Check.  Giving people something to gossip about?  Check.  Add to the idea that people across the galaxy would be talking because it's Shepard, the first human Spectre--and a traitor--and she's sleeping with a turian, of all things.  And it's Garrus no less, whose dad is apparently somewhat ranking in turian society.  Yep, it's a good song for them.  If Shepard is into retro music (it's very retro in the 2100s!) then I can totally see my particular Shepard playing that song in ME3 as she publicly flaunts her relationship with Garrus.  Assuming he'd be willing to do so (wouldn't want to disrupt the crew/mission/galaxy for something private, after all--we all know Garrus isn't half as bad a turian as he thinks he is).

Another good Bryan Adams song would be (All For One and) All For Love, but I don't really think it works so great with Femshep/Garrus.

Edit:  If you don't know "Hero," then go look up the lyrics someplace.  I think you'll see why I think it's a good Garrus/Femshep song.

And is anybody currently jotting down notes for a future Garrus/Femshep AMV?  I would but I've never made one and I confess I have no idea how. :/

If it was me and I was getting to drag Garrus out... I'd go to a club to dance to techno/rave music.... because I could let loose and I know he'd be there to protect me from weirdos.<3

For my Shep... She'd drag him to Afterlife. Both the upper and lower levels have music she'd dance to. Badly. And hopefully make Aria twitch while doing so.

As for dancing... THIS made me laugh so hard when I first saw it. Garrus does have a point at the end... I think, after the Reapers are dealt with, Shepard should go get dancing lessons. (Possibly from her buddies the Geth...)

THIS will always be Garrus' theme to me. Dunno if it would ever work for a Garrus/FemShep AMV though. But I'd kill for a really classy Garrus AMV of it.
