Heylo.

So the outcome of wine + Garrus + introducing my housemate to ME2 = a very long conversation about biology/sexuality/love as defined by the world we live in. Did not expect.

The whole 'dancin' with Garrus thing' would be awesome. My FemShep would totally have to take him somewhere where they play lots of classic rock and old school cheesy rock. Air guitars all round! (turian air guitar FTW)
Her mix of choice would include Don't Fear the Reaper, Highway to Hell, and Final Countdown. Get them into the spirit. lol

Actually, while I think it is a tad too mushy for Shep and Garrus to ever admit it, I think the lyrics of this song (especially the first verse) are just so where Garrus was before Shepard comes back into his life. I always think of them when I hear it. lol

Also, have been having disturbing thoughts of Shep/Garrus videos played to this song. THERE IS NO LOGICAL REASON FOR THIS!!! ... I hate that I work with kids sometimes. (Warning. Plenty safe for work. But made me make this face the first time I played it though in my head. But it won't leave!) Sigh. If they ever do drunk karioki, my FemSehp will prob pick that as a duet just to be random.

like the idea of certain squad mate spicing up and adding flavor to some
of the missions. Tali and Legion on the Flotilla, Garrus on Palaven,
Grunt on Tuchanka, Miranda/Jacob on whatever to Cerberus, etc. And
getting more dialogue if you romanced the character would be great as
well. For example, Garrus could defend you with more conviction if
someone says **** about you being human on Palaven, or if you get flak
from his father.

I like all of this. I think that the way everyone interacts with you and NPCs should be affected by the way your relationship has progressed. Not even just for LIs, though. For example, if you chose a course of action where Shep and a team member had a disagreement (Tali and the data, Miranda/Jack fight. etc) that would change bits and pieces. There is nothing more frustrating than talking to an NPC whose intrest seem directly relevent to a squad member you have with you, and neither aknowledges the other. (nb. This is not true. There are plentyl things more frustrating, but I am a fan of hyperbole)

Anyway, Garrus' dad needs to be an NPC. I think he's going to hate Shep regardless, but if Garrus is with you, I'd imagine most of his anger would be directed at him. He must feel like Garrus has let him down something shocking! (this comes back to my point about where Garrus fits in with turian citizen hierarchy in general at this point, given all he's done and been though). Shepard might even have to defend Garrus! (not that that would do any good).

Well at least I still have my twirly stick-on villain mustache *twirls said prop while dramatic silent movie piano music plays* DON'T TOUCH MY MUSTACHE! Believe it or not, that is Japanese for "You're welcome"  (dou itashimashte) Great now I keep repeating "don't touch my mustache" in my head with a British accent. THANKS A LOT FLAMMIE.

And I LOVE HAIRSPRAY  Not as much as I love Garrus, though. And tequila. But Garrus > Jose Cuervo. Yeah I'm kinda sauced.

HSM? Hairspray? What the sh-... I hate musicals. I forced myself to watch Hairspray, because I had to see at least one musical in my life... but oh gosh. People living their lives and then suddenly they start to sing.

Needless to say, I would go and see a musical with Garrus in it.

YES! I sort of sing but I fail at writing songs or composing. Tried to get my husband to write me a garrus song but he just looked at me like I was nuts. Which I am. But the look was impolite.

I'm terrible at singing and music tastes. Yet I still listen to it.

I actually don't understand it, but I quite like listening to Planetarium by Ai Otsuka. Hitomi Yaida's nice, too, but yeah, I don't understand Japanese...

So, I just dumped Jacob for Garrus and got the cuttlebone line. He was cranky. Garrus' reaction to me choosing him over Jacob was adorable. He was all surprised.

I've never done that. What order do you need to romance them in for that to work? I really want to let Garrus know "I choose you!"
