That's what I call it. XD

No, no, it's alright, I can fix it.

NOOOOOooooo...

See...this is what happens when you mix these things.  Never, ever play with the forces of darkness and evil.  It never ends well. :crying:

Also, this may be a strange blasphemy/paradox, but am I the only one who finds Garrus' voice sexier than BK? I mean, Brandon Keener's voice is still pretty nice, and he's kinda cute, but I do prefer Garrus.

I think that's a legit statement to make, the flanging does add a little something extra.  But that might just be because I associate it with a very badass Garrus and am ill-equipped to reach a conclusion objectively.

I agree, the flanging is what first grabbed my interest.  I like turian voices in general.  They all sound cool.  It's that  in Garrus case in particular, Keener's voice+turian flanging=fangirl swooning and melting.  It's like one is a hot brownie, the other is ice cream, put them together and....yea

I expecially like it when Garrus raises his voice a little because the flanging becomes really pronounced then.

@Flammie, I wish that were my excuse, you haven't seen me around recently because I'm doing drama stuff.

Sadly it involves no aliens. :I Sob

But it's a lot of fun, but I still want to be here more often.

But it's so cool... it's like Luke's hyperresonance, only that ended up sinking Akzeriuth and killing thousands of lives... alright, point taken. /obscure reference

Now, how do we fix this fine mess you've gotten us into, Eradyn?

Ah, I see. Well, I hope you're having a good time, anyway, I wondered where you were.

There is only one turian in all of ME1 and ME2 whose voice I cannot, CANNOT, stand.  And that's Sergeant Dahga's.  His voice absolutely GRATES my ears.  But in general, I love all the turian voices because of that flanging.  BK's voice, though, has a slight, natural flanging-like quality to it, that when magnified by additional flanging, becomes the absolute swoon machine known as Garrus' voice.  Really, though, I would be content to listen to Brandon Keener read out of an encyclopedia...or the dictionary...because his voice is so much like Garrus', even without the additional flanging.

Whoah! Hey! You can't lay it at my feet.  You're the one bringing two opposing forces together...the absolute WIN that is Garrus, and the absolute FAIL that is...yeah...that other thing.  Okay, okay...well...I have $10 in my wallet.  Anyone want to chip in? Surely a sex-change operation can't cost that much in the ME universe. :P

Yesyesyes. I can hear BK talk without flanging and still hear 99% Garrus.

We talked in this thread about breaking into his house and steal his answering machine. DAT VOICE.

edit: That was a joke. Of course. We're crazy, but not burglars. Heh heh.

Too bad he's married. X3 Lucky woman.  Maybe she'd take pity on us and let us have a tape or two of him rambling on, reading out of the dictionary or something. XD

I wonder how often we scare the moderators? Speaking of that, has anybody else noticed that the Bioware chaps don't drop in like they used to? They had all kinds of stuff to say on the old forums? Where'd they go? Talking to devs a lot was was fun.

And on Garrus, I've read lots of fics that seem to think turian body temperature is much higher than a human's. Thoughts?

I'm happy he's married. All Garrus fans camping on his front lawn would get... errr... frustrating.

But yeah, she is one lucky woman. Waking up and hearing Garrus say "Goodmorning!" is just WIN.

Woo just mods and Christina just answeres questions and Chris just gives announcments nad whatnot. Bioware most likely read everything and they are in the middle of making of ME3.

I don't think there was ever a concensus reached on the body temp thing.  I don't really know what the temp would be.

I'm back from vacation!  Yay!

Welcome back, Sialater. I noticed that there was a lack of you.

Eh, I like Garrus' voice, and I find BK's voice alright, but I'll leave all you screaming girls to swoon and catfight over it.

I'm not denying BK's got a nice voice, but I do like the additional flange to Garrus' voice, and for some reason, Garrus' voice seems... deeper.

YOU WERE THE FRIGGING CATALYST FOR BOTH REACTIONS IN THE FIRST PLACE! THE ONLY REASON THEY REACTED WAS BECAUSE YOU EXIST!

But I haven't got any credits. I've got some chicken coins, but they don't convert.

That pic of Garrus, the glowy bit where his ear is makes me think he's got a single earring. Garrus the punk, who'd've thought?

I always said the fringe made him look like a skater boy, but maybe that's just me.

I'm pretty sure Garrus is so awesome that even in woman form he can just will himself back into masculinity and it will be so. No worries.

Or if we go back in time and remove Eradyn, and therefore the catalyst for all this tomfoolery, and therefore restoring Garrus to normal as if nothing happened.

The four same pics in a row are confusing my eyes, Xsause @v@ but nice work, anyhow.

I can't think of anything snarky to say in response to that, Mrs. Senile Oldbag.

This thread is fast? I'm just happy I'm not a Talifan, because keeping up with THAT thread would be difficult... :P

It's kinda inconvenient.  I asked a question to which I actually wanted an answer in there a few days ago, then stupidly decided to do something else for about 5 minutes.  They had blown past the place where I asked the question so fast, I couldn't even find it.  I gave up trying. :P
danitiwa, I am loving that picture...Garrus's outfit is smashing!
Xsause, those are fantastic screenshots...I love the one with the eye closeup

That, for my money, was as close to creepy-stalkerish as this thread ever got.  (Which should make us proud...could be a lot worse.) ;):P
