OK here's a topic, and forgive me if everyone already knows the answer but I don't: How old is turian civilization?
That's ok, I kind of thought you forgot where you left your reading glasses.
Regarding the question: errr... *runs off to wiki*

Ya shoulda said something, we're all friends here...um, except us, I guess we're expected to fight...and um, Soltana and Flammie are supposed to be enemies, too...well anyway I woulda repented!

As for Turian culture... I think they're older, too. They took awhile to become a full Council Race, first off... and it is noted how fast Humans leap past things compared to the other civilizations.

Taking Garrus and Grunt SHOPPING?! What the hell were you thinking Shepard?
The subject matter makes me shudder, and yet I love this. It might be the watercolor paper texture.

Yes, that is very, very cool...but the pic reminds me (not favorably) of the E-Surance commercials.
But I love the shopping bags with the guns on them...that is a most delightful touch

I can honestly say I have never been drunk enough to see Jesus-Garrus. I'm just sayin'.
Also, I was singing to Van Halen while driving...I dunno, it sort of fits...
And then you sense a change
Nothin' feels the same
All your dreams are strange
Love comes walkin' in
Some kind of alien
Waits for the opening
Simply pulls a string
Love comes walkin' in
Oh, sleep and dream; that's all I crave
I travel far across the milky way
To my master I become a slave
'Til we meet again some other day
Where silence speaks as loud as war
Earth returns to what it was before

It's a nice piece of art. One of the best things of this thing is Grunt eating a fish. It's like he earned it after showing good behaviour while shopping. "Aww, you're a good boy. Here, you deserve

A woman can never have too many firearms. And yes, I found those commericials obnoxious too. :C

Here, you deservean ice creama fish on a stick." It all fits with this Shepard-Garrus-Grunt family thing going on in my head.
Welcome back Jackalope(and Sialater too, btw. Totally forgot to welcome you back
)
Totally the Grunt thing. I love it. In fact, I do love the whole thing. It looks super feminine from afar, but then you look at the large version and it's all FIREPOWAH. And then Grunt and his fishsicle.
(Yeah, I totally gave up on catching up on this thread. No time, no time: I hate school. Why can't they understand that I need more time for GARRUS!?)
(Also also, one of the more proud moments of my life: Friday night the little brother was giving DRUNK SILT a ride home. The next morning he was reminding me of my drunken shenanigans and told me that "The best part was definitely when someone mentioned science and you started singing that scientist salarian song." )

THAT WAS AMAZIN'.
....Oh dear. After reading it again the thought of stripping Silt lead to an idea that is tickling me 'ole brain. (The idea does not involve me being nekkid. No one panic.)
...
>_>
Then she got an idea. An awful idea. The Silt got a wonderful, awful idea.
(Someone please tell me they get the reference there.)

Anyways, I wanted to swing in and show my support of my favorite ME2 character and all around favorite LI for any game ever. While I'm sure this post will eventually be drowned in the sea of actual discussion, I still would like to say something. Every little poster counts, y'know?

Ok... I kind of miss the link between stripping Silt and the Grinch. Do I want to know?
Anyway, before I go to bed, dropping another art piece:

I know this was several pages ago, but... if anyone manages to have Shepard catch Garrus and then Garrus catch Shepard in the suicide mission, it would be nice to know how they did it. I was going to choose him second because I've seen that suggestion a lot here, but I accidentally picked him first again (force of habit, I always pick him first) and Shepard caught him, but Tali caught Shepard. Is it just that Tali is more likely to catch Shepard than Garrus is? I've also read here that, at the end of ME1, Wrex will be the one to look sad when everyone thinks Shepard is crushed instead of Garrus, but if Tali is the other squadmate, then Garrus is the one with the sad face. o_o; It's so confusing.
For anyone who wants to know, I chose Garrus as team leader both times in my first playthrough and then took him to fight the human Reaper.
@Ragabul the Ontarah: I was wondering if Garrus would need some cybernetic implants for his face too... I was also wondering if that's why Saren has them. o_o; I've noticed he's missing part of those metal plates, and his teeth show right through the sides of his head. Or maybe Saren was just born like that.
...I support Palaven and the answers to all of my questions in ME3! xD
Also, all of these drinking Shepard avatars have made me think about one of my Shepards (the one who will get drunk and pass out in Dark Star, of course) getting into a bet after he's already had a few drinks, and that's why he would be holding the glass up to his nose. xD Because it's hilarious to look at, but it makes no sense. Poor Colonist/Sole Survivor has a slight drinking problem.
