I'm going to break the flow for a second here but... I keep seeing pictures of Shepard's scouter going all the way across her face, horizontal like glasses. But the one I buy in the game is vertical. Is there a way to change it or is it just different versions of the game?

So, I was just watching season seven of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and realized one of the episodes had Brandon Keener in it. Sadly, he was not an amazingly sexy and badass turian. I was disappoint.

If I remember right, that item was a limited time DLC item from the Dr.Pepper Bioware campaign. It was with three other items, one of them was a rediculous looking pair of goggles if I remember... Anyways, the other two items are still up but I think the cool scanner like headware was discontinued. Which is a real shame, it was by far the best looking of the three items.

Can someone give me a reference--is there a way to get Shepard to start falling during the suicide mission and Garrus to catch her? When (ie at what point in the mission?) Just wondering if I'm bending some canon or not.

That would be the one.  He was the loser older brother of the kid that was using it at the time.  I was talking to my fiance when he first showed up, then he spoke and I immediately became glued to the tv.  I think I squealed "GARRUS!" a little bit too.  His character was a big loser that still lived with his mother and worked at a pizza place.  He didn't even own a single rifle.

Edit:  Now I just imagined teenage Garrus in a letterman's jacket.  I think I need help.

Garrus needs to have his own country

I have saved Garrus and then Garrus saved me twice. But I think it was random... I've also never had Mordin die and never sent him back to escort the crew. (I always make Jacob do it because I dislike him just that much. Sorry, Jacob fans... it's just a personal opinion. ^^' ) I've actually never lost anyone, strangely. Never lost the crew, never lost a team member... but I'm obsessive about doing all quests and getting all upgrades... so eeeeeh. (Don't ask how many generations of Gold Chocobo I bread in FF7 out of sheer vindictiveness towards the Black Hat rider. Trust me, it wasn't pretty.)

Nope. I had different crew members with me at the time, but I always pick Garrus as the first member. And he was always my FT Leader both times. I usually send Tali through the pipe, though I've sent Legion once... I just prefer him and his yummy sniper rifle with me when I can't have Garrus at my back. My usual makeup is:

FT1:Garrus

Tech: Tali(or Legion)

Bio: Samara

FT2:Garrus

Escort: Jacob

Terminator Embryo team: Garrus + Random

As someone mentioned, it was from the Dr. Pepper promo. It's no longer available via the free method, but if you can get a code it's still up there. I got someone to give me a code (Australian, they don't even sell it here) and it was still available a week or two ago.

Damn, I missed page 600! I haven't been here for any of the milestones If I was having Garrus dreams, I wouldn't mind so much - but instead I had weird dreams that involved me being beaten up by my doppelganger and then suddenly MAGIC POWERS! EPIC MAGE BATTLE!
...It needed more Garrus.

If my dreams involved more Garrus, I wouldn't be such an insomniac.

The first time I played through the last stage I lucked out and got the double Garrus save... though I could never really do it again. Kinda bummed me out, but it also kinda made that first play through just a little more special. I can't really remember who I used for what, though I do remember Mordin ended up dieing and made me feel bummed for a bit.

I think if you enter the codes as from...what, 20-oz bottles from 7-11, you can still get the headset (there was the Umbra Visor, which was goggles, +5% power damage, Recon Hood, which looked kind of like Thane's 'helmet', +5% weapon damage, and the somethingmumblewhatsit, which is what you're looking for, gave +5% shields). Make sure you look up exactly how to get it, though--I think there've been some posts on the forum talking about it (or just Google info about 'Dr Pepper DLC Mass Effect'). If you screw up somewhere and can't pick it, you're not allowed to reenter the code. However, you can email them and tell them you made a mistake with your code and request the item you're looking for, that's what I ended up doing when I redeemed a code the day before the DLC actually went up.

The first time (and only time, stupid schoolwork getting in the way of gaming ) I've played through the SM, Garrus was the one to pull me up into the shuttle. I'm hoping this time around I'll save him, so that I can have screenshots of both. I'm not too fussed about getting them on the same playthrough - video can be spliced, and I don't think the game would keep a record of that. Of course in my head-canon it's Garrus both times

And yes, Teioh was such a *censored a lot*. My brother was actually kind of shocked at how vindictive I got in breeding those dratted *more censoring* birds to get one so fast it could walk and win the race. I spent more time doing that than actually playing the rest of the game. That's... kind of just how I get. <_<

Hopefully I can get my main Shepard and Garrus to save each other both times when I get around to her NG+ playthrough... but if it doesn't work, I'm just glad she caught him. xD It was my first playthrough, and I thought I messed up by choosing him first, so when she slid down the platform after him, I thought, "Yeah, it worked!" Then Tali pulled her up and I thought, "Okay, close enough."

It's still there. You simply have to buy a Dr.Pepper the "fair" way.
I did this late March and received the Sentry Interface with no problems whatsoever. 

Gah, didn't notice this received a response already. it's the thought that counts, right? =p
