It's a good suggestion, but you still run into the problem that it may not feel "unique enough". I'm in favour of this option though, because mostly romance-y dialogue and little romance-y dialogue would both feel out of place. I'm feeling hopeful that Bioware will manage to find a good compromise.Flammie wrote...
Or perhaps if you're talking about Garrus' story and stuff, both romance and non-romance get the same dialogue, but when it gets more personal, "bro/sis" or lover stuff, then it splits into two sets?
I guess you could consider it like that, but it's a compromise between the two different ways they could do it if you want to include romance dialogue, so it's just about balancing it together, and yeah, hoping Bioware find a good compromise.
Or they could assume that everybody romanced Garrus and make him talk to ManShep in a really provocative way, too. ^v^
I still remember my delurk in some detail. I don't think there was anything special about it, but I was quite tense, awkward and uptight from the start. Well, moreso than I am nowadays, anyway.
I was really late to the party. I didn't play ME1, and I ended up getting ME2, but I hadn't even played much of it when I found out about Garrus, and I didn't really have much interest in him until I saw his entrance in ME2. Then I started looking him up (*giggle*) and I found this thread (this one I'm posting in right now, actually). Then I just used the account I used to sign up to the Ceberus Network. And then you guys made me want to get ME1.
