Y'know, I'd probably be finished with my fanart if turians had less complicated clothing. I kept opening it to work on it, looking at Garrus' tunic, then running away in fear. :< ... Okay, it could also have to do with my being a big, gigantic procrastinator. Maybe. A little.

Progress! ... Well, not a lot.

Well... that's gonna be a tough act to follow, art-wise!

*looks at her unfinished Sai files*

... Eheheheh.

Both of you make me wish I could draw.  I'll stick to writing instead.

By the way, Kim, I forgot to tell you that your Shepard #7 is a Shep after my own heart. <3

Dunno if this has been posted or not, but I found this a while ago on /v/ and thought it was pretty funny:

I cried. Becuase I could not stop laughing. I also fell on the floor and hurt myself.

I'm so glad I could control my laughter, otherwise Garrus would have made me wake up my roomate.

Paint Tool SAI is a neat little program which is quite good for lineart/inking stuff. http://en.wikipedia..../SAI_(software)

All that awesome art! <3 Koucha and Aris, I applaud you! Should I even bother posting my stuff? :? It would pale in comparison.

Wow.  That does look amazing.

I'm always amazed at you art types that can do the whole paintings that turn into pretty pictures.  Love the eskimo kiss xD

Man, I really wish I could draw.....I love Garrus fan art. <3

Garrus had better be a full fledged squaddie in ME3 or I (and numerous others from what I've read) are going to be crushed....Gah, I just wish we knew already!

I have no idea what use turian mandibles would have. xD The first time I saw them puff out though (for lack of a better description word), I thought it was adorable. It really adds some great expression to their faces.

I love how they twitch when Garrus is sighting on Sidonis.  I think it's the turian equivalent of sticking out your tongue in concentration there.  Or it could just be to add emphasis to various emotions.  It does seem like the twitching happens most when a turian is surprised, indignant, concentrating, laughing, or some other reasonably intense emotion.

I think it's anything that raises a turian's heartrate and/or breathing. So with surprise or laughter it's only for a second; for Garrus sighting someone he despises in the scope of his rifle as he prepares to blow his head off (and hopefully not his mentor/friend/crush who is standing right next to him) they keep flapping with his pulse.   Which, like I said before, means there's another special time the mandibles go puff puff puff....B)

I have a Bamboo Fun and I'm happy with it ... The function keys are pretty useful and it comes with Photoshop Elements and Art Rage. Mine's kinda small though (248 mm x 176 mm x 8,5 mm). You can't really draw with your whole arm if you know what I mean. Maybe it's better to get a bigger tablet?

Having some AdviceMordin trouble myself, so just so you know Meta Ray Mek:

Memegenerator.net just pulled something weird, so now all memegenerator-hosted Advice!Garrus links on the OP don't work.

It looks like you can find the old version of the site at version1.memegenerator.net  and all the links to the images have been changed to reflect that. Know you're busy and I'm sure we'll survive without AdviceGarrus's sage wisdom to go on:P, just wanted to give you a heads up.

EDIT: No, you know what, I have no idea what's going on with it now.  Getting a 404 for the above link, now, so ignore me.

I have a tablet, but I'm still much better at doing my actual drawings on paper. My art, however, doesn't compare to some of what I've seen here, so even if I did fanart I don't think I'd share it. Self-consciousness and all that.

I've got a nice gift for anyone going back and playing Mass Effect 1. I never really liked the old Garrus face fix since it still used some very low-res textures. After a brief brainstorming session, I realized that Mass Effect 1 and 2 share the same texture layouts.

I present to all of you, for TexMod, the NEW and IMPROVED Garrus face fix:
http://rcpt.yousendi...7e45640b9865ebe

Remember that you need to run TexMod (it WILL work with Steam - took me a while and I can explain how to do so, if necessary) and have ME1 set to Ultra High textures.

So there you go. Garrus for ME1 PC using the Garrus from ME2 textures.

Hmmmm. Had a thought: You know how some of us had Garrus tell us to spare the Collector base, and others had him say to blow it up? I know someone said it's due to who you had with Shepard in that team, but I wondered if it might have to do with whether you made him paragon or renegade in your ME1 game. I let him kill Saleon, so despite coaching him to be paragon in ME2 and sparing Sidonis, he took the more renegade view.

It's just a theory, so if you spared Saleon and still got a "spare the base" or if you killed Saleon and got a "blow up the base," then my theory is totally off. I just thought it might be worth mentioning to see if the thought had any basis to it.

I paragoned him all the way and he still wanted to blow the base up. :?
