That makes me laugh! I'm trying for that atm. My fear is I fail, and end up with Jacob and his priiize. In which case, he may end up in the vents...
This thread tends to quieten down on a Fri/sat night. Damn people and their social lives!
We got into an interesting discussion the other night about sacrifice. OK, so Garrus would sacrifice everything he has for Shep (mostly because Shep is everything he has),but how far beyond that so you think he would go? At what point does he let go? Something Shepard herself wouldn't want exchanged for her life?
Also, (because I've been reading a lot of fanfic recently, and this comes up) do you think Garrus would have given Shepards body to Cerberus to revive, had he been the one tasked with finding her (or him)?

And in this playthrough, I let Sidonis die on the third option, since he admitted that he did it and was suffering for it (with his nightmares and not eating). And when I let him go (out of mercy killing) he said "Thank you" and Garrus took the shot. I think that's the Paragade way. Someday I should come back to that save and cap it to re-analize. I didn't want Garrus to take it real personal (like with Saleon), nor did Sidonis' case would be resolved since crime on Omega is technically out of C-Sec's jurisdiction, and it's a sorta of a win/win situation.

Well, at the time, he's still working for C-Sec while Liara founded Shep's body. It just a few months prior to Shep's resurrection was when Garrus got fed up and went to Omega.

Oh, I get what actuslly happened. I was more thinking from a character choice persepctive: if he had had the oppertunity and all...
Also, the timing on Garrus leaving C-Sec and getting to Omega is kind of iffy. He supposadly left the Citadel ('disappeared') "a couple" of months after Shep's death, and showed up in Omega "a few" months afer she came back. This leaves a good chunk of time unaccounted for. I like to think he did a bit of ass-kicking around the galaxy before settling on Omega, rather than going straight there to set up shop.
Yeah. That's my favourite way to handle Gar's LM. Sidonus accepts the bullet as release from his guilt, Garrus gets his revenge. Win win. I'm paragonning this PT though (despite messing with Jacob's emotions) so I just get frustrated Garrus. lol

Lol. I have been saying for months that Garrus needs his own game where we find out what went down.

I don't know. If garrus didn't want shepard to be revived then i don't think he would have jumped so quickly at the opportunity to be with him/her after omega.
I didn't say he didn't want Shep revived. I said I think the cost would have been too high for him. Cerberus are not to be trusted, and Liara (with the best of intentions) did essentially sell the body of her friend to the enemy (OK, so it was to save it from being taken by a worse enemy, but still.) I'm thinking about this from a "they didn't know everything would turn out OK" point of view.
Shepard is dead. Cerberus ask for her body and say they can revive her. Do you trust them?

Hell no. But if garrus knew what was going on then i think he might reluctantly try to help liara. Not stop her.janeym27 wrote...

This reminds me of the choice you had to make in the first game with Nerali Bhatiya's body: Should you let them experiment on it to get geth information, or give it back to her husband for proper burial?

I don't know. I think he might have helped her steal the body, but I can't see him handing it to Cerberus. No matter what they promise.
Edit. By this I mean, I think he would have view Liara handing the body over as a betrayal. I think he'd have tried to stop her at that point. Let his commander rest in peace.

If he knew that shepard's body was either going to go to the collectors or cerberus, i think he would pick cerberus. In fact remember that convo you had with garrus/ He said that he should of joined up with them sooner.
He said that because of the tech. And that was after she was back and fine. I think given the choice between those 2, yes. Cerberus was the better pick. But the choice between giving her body away at all, or letting her rest in peace, I honestly think that Garrus as we knew him at the end of ME1 would have left her. I think had Liara told him (also Kaiden) of her plan, they'd have disapproved. Because Shepard would have disapproved.
