Ray is on holiday. The thread was plenty busy midweek. It's just been quite in the evening time lately.



I love how Garrus seems unable to just stand still when he's on other squaddies LMs and you talk to them. His hips, they sway so!

Well, he does in Mordins LM. He's trying to pace, but doesn't have much room, so he just...sways. lol

But the man makes a good point. If Garrus hadn't lost Shepard, would he be the turian he is in ME2? I doubt it. I actually think he needed those years alone to mature and find his own way in the galaxy. Shep set him on the path, but if she hadn't left, then he'd have walked in her shadow for a while, I think.

yeah garrus would still be badass but he would still act like a c-sec agent. Now he acts like an individual with following his own morals. And since there isn't really much to talk about right now, i say we introduce each other's shepards. Anyone in?

Not good at making garrus haikus, other frequent posters are pretty much gone at the moment, its getting kinda lonely in here.

Yeah, neil was originally going to be an ass, but i just went paragon with him in me1 lol. And in me2 i made him paragade, i didn't let him kill saleon and i talked him out of killing sidonis. But he still cool with meh brah.

Calla Shepard/Spacer/Sole Survivor/Paragon (mostly)/Infiltrator
-Developed an instant crush on Nilhus, sparking her interest in turians (some might say...a fetish)
-And I didn't put it in there, but throughout ME1 she was concerned her attraction to Garrus was just her latent interest in his species, so she didn't push the matter. By ME2 she knows better.

Kaylee Shepard- Colonist/War Hero/Paragade/Soldier
Didn't mean to fall for Garrus, it just kind of...happened, sometime around his near-death on Omega. Then there was that playful banter, but he seemed into it, and it all just went downhill from there. She doesn't know what she's going to do if Kaidan tries to win her back (so I have a PT for each outcome )

So I pose this question: Why exactly did your Shepard wind up with Garrus? What was the catalyst?

Oh, I did that.

Kate Shepard. Earthborn/sole survivor. Vanguard.

1. Kate can't
drink hot drinks, or eat cold sandwiches. She can eat cold bread in a
sandwich, but the filling has to be hot. This may/maynot be rooted in
her childhood.

2. Kate owns every episode of Xena: Warrior
Princess on holovid. It may be considered classiscal media by now, but
she can quote it verbatum. Occasionally explains her awesomeness away by
saying "I have many skills."

3. Between leaving the Reds and
joining the Alliance, Kate formed an ill-advised girl band 'Reave' with a
former gal-gang pal. Performing a mix of techno-funk fused with
lazer-light spectacular, they had a minor hits in the early 2170s
(including the seminal "Biotic Boy", and "Party on Palaven"), but
co-founder Eloise quit after becoming addicted to Red Sand and attemping
to face off against a an Asari Commando in a biotic display which left
her limbless. Kate never talks about this, and will routinly headbutt
people who bring it up.

4. Kate is on a mission to sample every
alcoholic/hallueonagenic drink in the universe, and is proud of the fact
that she has NEVER turned down a shot, no matter how ill-advised.

5.
Though she is ashamed to admit it, Kate occasionally uses her biotics
to knock annoying children over, and expose really bad toupes in public.
One time, she used them to publically pants a cop who was giving her
trouble, He was going commando, and got expelled from the force. Kate felt bad so she
packed it in and joined the military.

6. She had a Spaniel once.
Toblerone. He died. Horribly. She is hoping Boo will be the one to cure
her of her fear of trusting a pet to, y'know, not die....horribly.



She ended up with Garrus because she had always admired his passion and determination, and they actually think quite alike. After the Lazerous project she was feeling lost, and he came to her side as soon as she called. She sort of found herself again at that. She was impressed with the person he had become and what he had been trying to do on Omega, and really feels for him over losing his team. The catalyst was probably the way he came back to her. After she watched one of the few familiar faces she had seen since her death take a rocket to the face (and she cared for him as a friend before then, so it was especially upseting) she was afraid for him. And then he got straight back up and stood at her side.  When Kaiden turned on her, she realised that Garrus was the only person she really trusted now. And he believed in her.

Awrite guys, mine are all ME1 since I'm playing it right now. Here's Arlia. She blurs the line between Paragade and Renegon. Sticks by her pals but always gets the job done. Ruthless Colonist.

Edit: She fell for Garrus since they're a lot a like...a little rash and hotheaded...it happened gradually and blindsided her when she finally figured it out.
