Shepard here liked Garrus' optimism of making the galaxy a better place. As time went on, the professionalism kinda degraded to close friends (even though it took 2 years before Garrus got the balls to ask her first name).

I'm writing a bromantic fanfiction involving Male Shepard and Garrus. All thanks to this thread, has gotten my creative energy going (which has for a long time been rather dead). I haven't written by more than 5 years so don't hate k
here's a preview

The rich green of the seal darkened and twitched, dissolving into the sterile air that hummed rhythmically of machinery. Slicing open, the door to the main battery hissed as the four compact segments glided and diverged from the dissipating emerald nucleus, sliding into the pallid flesh of the Normandy. The radiance of the Crew Quarters diffused into the comparatively darker room, and the scar stung slightly with sweeping breath of wind.

I'm probably going to end up revising every paragraph I write a million times

There's a few ways to get some really BA high-quality screenies but the easiest way is just to use FRAPS which is what I use.

Well, I have Fraps and ME1/2 on PC, and I just f10 for making screenshots. For 360, it might take a more rigorous set-up, but taking a picture with a digital camera will do.

print screen works as well, but I like the whole making consecutive images in a row and opening them up later after gameplay.

I ran into the problem that print screen doesn't seem to work on fullscreen mode when taking screenshots, and had to change it to window (no border) for that purpose.

Thanks. It's hard to juggle eloquence and flow at the same time. Likely I'll revise that paragraph till my fingers start bleeding. I guess that's the price from not writing (creatively) for so long, haha.

On the whole do I think Garrus would have given Shep to Cerberus if he were the one tasked to do so? Yes. Do I think there would have probably been much more hilarity between him and Feron? Yoooooou becha!

But while I don't find the Liara of the comics all that... well, believable... the new hardassed Liara = love.

Down with naivete! And all that guff.



Oh, you wanted a why? Psh, I can't think of a really good why. I can't even think of a really good why for Liara to let Cerberus revive Shepard. Friend or Lover, I mean... it's resurrection. It's not something done every day. : / Gah, now I need a bit to chew on this. /rumblegrump

Oh, and hiakus... bad idea for me to try. I get frustrated with poetry.

That's the best I can do right now. Haha. This is the latest incarnation of my main toon from ME1. She had her eye on Garrus even then, so she was very professional with Kaidan. (Virmired Ashley. Sorry, she always annoys me enough that I give her the boot. If I ever go back to play ME1 again, I'll let her live.)

Earthborn/Sole Survivor/ Soldier/ 2/3 Paragon to 1/3 Renegade



Pretty much my "avatar" character that I use for my first playthrough and makes the decisions I'd make myself.



I do regret, though, that she got with Liara in the first game--only because Garrus wasn't an option. I"m tempted to re-do her "right" without the Liara bit.

Spacer/Ruthless/(crap, he's the Biotic class, forget the name of it)/mostly Renegade



Nat originally began as my "**** Shepard" where I did all the nasty renegade things I couldn't justify doing in the first playthrough. Turns out he's not a complete jerk. I couldn't make him kill Wrex, extort Sha'ira for sex, or cheat on Ashley. He genuinely does love Ashley. Most of the time, though, he thinks bullets are a great way to solve problems, doesn't care if he loses some people as long as the job gets done, and is more concerned with judgment and expedient solutions than with concepts like mercy or second chances.

This playthrough hasn't gotten very far. I need to re-do it on an easier level.



Basically, this is a mostly-Paragon character, Colonist, trying to do all the things I haven't done before....like actually letting poor Kaiden survive a game...and managing to kill Wrex this time.

Ehlana there is my main. Spacer/War Hero/Infiltrator, Paragradeon. (She was full paragon in ME1. She slips now and then in ME2. Some mercs ask for flying lessons. Who is to argue?)



Kaida Shepard Colonist/Sole Survivor/Engineer(last playthrough), Rengadeon. (She is cold and harsh, but still does right and can't really be a jerk unless they're asking for it.) She dumps Kaidan for Thane after he turns his back on her on Horizon(betrays her, in her mind). If Thane dies I think she's just going to give up on organics and go live with the Geth.



They're the only two I imported from ME1. I might go back and make a third but... eh. I just replay them in different classes if I want to see how they play. Like, Ehlana was a Soldier back in ME1. She's now a mean and lean Infiltrator. And Kaida was whatever the full Biotic class was in ME1, but went techy in Me2. XD



Also: I've been kicking arse and taking names on Insanity with Ehlana... until now. Collector Ship is wtfpwning me so hard it isn't even funny.

He's a ways behind in the LI area, but it makes sense that even though he is slightly behind Kaidan, he still has a significant vote considering his "ensemble darkhorse" status. (Plus, looking at all of the LIs, all of the top ones are from ME1. This amuses me.)

That's because Garrus is awesome.

Chani Shepard, named after Chani, Paul Muad'Dib's consort in Dune.

Paragon, Sentinel also Vanguard at one point in ME2. Let Ashley die once and Kaidan once. Romance wtih Kaidan and Liara at different times.

She chose Garrus because there was always a sense of his having more to say and because he stood by her against Saren when it wasn't the 'approved' choice. He spoke up for her against Kaidan on Horizon, which made her see something else between them. She talked to Sidonis and heard his story then let Garrus make the final choice, and he chose to let him go. This made some kind of balance between them for her having told him not to kill Saleon, which angered him at the time.
