Haha yeah, the last couple of pages are amazing. I don't care that this is a slow thread . Walls of text are awesome. Even though there are not enough words that can describe the awesomeness that is Garrus.

Hey... remember when about 200 pages ago, we had someone post the awesome 'Savor the last shot' shot glasses, and there was talk of creating the Garrus Shot (or 'Heat Sync') to consume from them? Did anyone come up with a decent combination? I was thinking something with red aftershock and blue sours in it...

OK, OK, so compared to the last few pages, it's back to thread drunkie silliness. It's just been bugging me for some inexplicable reason.

So the new DLC is more gear for Shep. I am happy to give BW my money, most of the time, but unless Garrus is gonna give me props for my stylishness, I am disappoint. Funnily enough, Ii'd probably pay the 160 points for new gear for my team... just not really up on giving Shep yet more gear.

I'm still foolishly hoping for a DLC fix for the romance endings. At least let us know it went well, people!

Man, I must be in a very small minority who actually really loves the "Consider me seduced" interrupt. For one thing, I don't think Garrus bought it. Maybe for a split second, but then when she turns off the music he realizes she was kidding. I think that line was meant to sweep all his awkward seductions out the door, not because they annoyed her, but because he didn't need them. I think she was being stern, but not in a condescending or annoyed way. She was telling him that worrying was silly because he already had her. She wasn't going to let something stupid like lack of good pick-up lines mess it up. At least, that's how my Shepard meant it. It was totally a "It's ME, Garrus. You don't have to impress me or seduce me. Chill." And his reaction to it is telling. He calms down immediately and then proceeds to start speaking to her in a truly meaningful way after that. It was a "clearing the air" moment. I actually thought not taking the paragon interrupt was meaner. It's like Shep sees he is panicking, knows she has the ability to calm him down, but doesn't because she finds him stumbling over himself amusing. It is amusing, but a little cruel as well. I think his panicking escalates specifically because Shep says nothing and just stands there eyeballing him with a hand on her hip. My Shep is also a no-nonsense hardass so maybe it just fit her character really well.

In other news, I actually don't mind initiating the Garrus romance that much because I do think it is in character for the most part. I do, however, deeply resent the severe lack of content it has compared to other LIs. Am I extremely grateful that Bioware gave us the Garrus romance? Yes, a thousand times, yes! Does that mean it is perfect or has no room for improvement? No. It is specifically because it was so good that we want more. Again, just some little things would make all the difference. I am hoping this can be rectified in ME3.

I'm convinced it did. Once they relaxed, I reckon it went pretty damn well.

The Drew Carey Show was on, and guess who was in it? One line, but still - he hung about in the backround for a while, doing awesome backround acting. I do love when awesome randomly rears its head.

Even Garrus himself doesn't like following his feelings. His feelings get his own crew killed (in his opinion). He's more reserved and the thought of Shepard even considering recipricating such feelings probably is something he never thought of.

They are both fighters and both have lost a lot in the course of a couple of years, the actualization that someone loves them for them and not as some hormonally driven need to just get some heavy breathing going is what makes their relationship all the sweeter.

Even still, their scene was just that a breaking down of barriers. Their defenses falling and leaving them in a very uncomfortably vulnerable state. Both never seeing eachother for what they really were.

In my opinion, i see a different garrus once you start romancing him. I mean that in a positive way, i just can't put my finger on what to call it.

Yeah in a way. And i think since his personality changed a little bit when your romancing him, his personality on both the battleground and in non-combat dialouge should change as well. I think it would turn him into someone more confident.

I think that he's more endowed in the idea of a relationship.  I would have also have liked to have an equally changed personality on the battlefield as well.

Don't make new LIs. They have 9 already and they need to focus on those. Plus, the new ones would be a distinct disadvantage because the aforementioned 9 romances would have more content to them.

Given that they were kind of rushed for their first intimate encounter (2 hours tops, probably significantly less time with all the hemming and hawing), I'd like to see a fanfic about their SECOND encounter.  One where everyone else gets 24h shore leave.  Bow chicka wow wow

You have no idea how much of a relief the "partofmestillthinkswe'recrazy" loop is.

Until you realise he must have essentially blocked your night together out of his head...

I think once you are romancing him, the barriers come down a little. Then all the way right before O-4.

Also, the sexy voice gets sexier. It's just science.

Well we can always cross our fingers for that.  I need more, it's like a creepy addiction.  One I will admit that I have, and no I don't need treatment...

eta: Ragabul, you speak truly.  I think what burns me is that some LIs get post-romance dialogue, and others don't.  It's just plain not fair.
