Damn - no Xsause. A "Clan Vakarian: because our love of Garrus and alcohol will never die!" banner would rock my world.

If we have a banner which runs through even more awesome garrus vakarian facts would rock my world.

As far as Garrus' looping dialogue goes... I was a bit surprised when, after he gives his turian preparations/reach and flexibility conversation, if femshep simply chooses the "goodbye" option ("Thanks for the talk, Garrus") then he gets a new looping conversation next time she talks to him.  I don't remember exactly what it was, but he was basically saying that he was trying to relieve stress doing various tasks...and it leads right back into the turian preparations/reach and flexibility convo.  Image IPB

It does at least imply that that "stress"femshep wants to help him get rid of really is bonafide and not just an excuse.

Bless. He's genuinly sexually frustrated for totally innocent reasons.

See, this is why we need more info on Turian culture...

I have a good imagination.  The tombstone it conjured was a monolithic marble masterpiece with little archangels on the side.  That about right?

Garrus winked at a girl the last time he was on Palaven.  Every girl in the turian species swooned at once and have yet to recover.

Let's remember this and demand a new banner when she returns :P.

@ kglaser: LINKFAIL old woman! Wow, at least 2 more years until ME3... you'll be even older. :kissing: *paragon hug*

@ Nevara: I still haven't found a good myShepxGarrus song, although I've been listening to Muse a lot lately and I like this one in particular, even though it doesn't sound like Muse at all. The lyrics kind of fit for me (and Garrus).

FINALLY...an explanation! :wizard:

Dang, you're right janey...now I miss Xsause's banner abilities.
And where is the tapioca Mr. BlazenGlazen?  My blood sugar is dropping. -_-

edit for Cerrydd:  OUCH!  My scapula...that hug...where is my Geritol??
--Haha, I am but merely joshing. :wizard:
And let us hope the alcohol kills enough germs to keep me alive for ME3.

So... I guess I'm the only one who thinks new squadmates could be interesting? xD I've seen some ideas on the forums about choosing a certain number of squadmates out of those available, and I think it sounds pretty good. I know if that happened, my main Shepard would have an all-alien crew unless there are some new human squadmates that she likes better in ME3.

Anyway, I have a question about Garrus' dialogue after the suicide mission. It sounds like everyone here has the repeating "part of me still thinks we're crazy" line. Is that right? In my game, he repeats the "I haven't forgotten what we talked about" line.

Well if they ALL spend their time before big missions fighting and/or screwing and he's on the Normandy with no female Turians and a general realization of the fact that Shep would not like for him to go around picking fights... (...and carrying a torch for Shepard BIG TIME....)

Yeah, I get the "part of me still thinks we're crazy". Then I think, "Yeah, I know, you already said that. In fact, we already did it. So, can you tell me what it was like? Because I passed out after the headbump."

[Lurks in when should be working...again]

I think Garrus will be heavily evolved in ME3...he is just too popular as a (b)romance. Perhaps it is wishful thinking, but I think that would seriously stuff up if they didn’t develop him even further as one of THE main LIs. NO BRUSHING HIM OFF as secondary character. Garrus doesn’t do second place. Ever. Seriously, I think everyone on this tread would be shopping for torches and pitchforks if they even TRIED it.

My assumption (and, hell, I like making them) is that Bioware knew he was a popular character from ME1 but weren’t sure how popular he would be as LI so played it safe. All development was put into Thane as possible alien FemShep LI option. Don’t get me wrong, I love Thane too, so not complaining. Haven’t finished my Thane/Shep yet (at final battle) so will be interested to see what he has to say (if anything). Garrus romance just feels a little uncooked because of the reset after game-end. I’ve said this before...where is our ‘where do we go from here Shepard?...’ dialogue?

ME3 IMHO will start straight after ME2 because of the way ME2 finishes. But, because there are so LI options, I hope they don’t spread themselves too thin trying to keep everyone happy. But that is because I love the characters and want them to do justice to them....and less mineral mining and more dialogue!

What is everyone’s thoughts on what they will do with each of the LIs?

I must have been lucky with the line he repeats then... At least I can think he's finishing some diagnostics because the Normandy got beaten up at the Collector base, and that he and Shepard apparently talked about something during/after the fade-to-black scene, even though I know it's an old line.

Does it make a difference if it's the PC or Xbox version? I have the Xbox version.

I think some will be sidelined.  I think there's a decent chance Jacob and Jack will vanish or be stuffed off in a corner due to amount of variability and lack of popularity.  Sadly, I think there is a chance with Thane as well given his sickness.  I very much hope Bioware pays attention to how popular Garrus is.  I think somewhat else says and I agree that he has the smallest hatedom of any character except maybe Mordin and Wrex.

On another note, multiple pages back we discussed what a possible Kaidan/Garrus confrontation in ME3 might look like and we seemed to agree that they would both be mellow enough not to fight and to let femshep decide on her own and then respect her decision.  Anyway, then I did my first cheater playthrough and Garrus is ADAMANT in his defense of Shepard on Horizon.  He is not happy with Kaidan at all.  I don't think he would fight with Kaidan over her, but I can definitely see him giving Kaidan a verbal lashing for treating her that way on Horizon.
