Your best (slim) hope is to leave her holding the line along with Grunt, Zaeed and Garrus. Send Mordin back with the crew, and take Tali and Miri or Samara into the final fight with you (best squishy/non squishy ratio for HTL).

Did you lose her loyalty over Miranda? If you side with Jack in that fight, you can (I've heard) talk Miri around later, thus retaining both loyalties.

So, try leaving her under Garrus' watchful eye. Good luck!

Thanks again janey!  Will try (once more) the hold the line with as litle squishy as possible...otherwise I'll try convincing Miri...I've maxed out Para so hopefully that will help:innocent:  If not you will hear the sobbing from there.
I wonder how Garrus would settle a fight between those two. Somehow I see him shaking his head slowly and walking away when they refuse to see reason  ^_^  I think he would be a little out of his comfort zone in the middle of a girl fight.

With max para, you should be able to talk them both down and retain their loyalty. Good luck. :)

I think Garrus would just keep out of it, like you said. It would probably annoy him that they were fighting over something so 'silly' when the bigger picture mission is quite literally concerning the fate of the galaxy. If he did get involved, he'd probably yell at them both that they were being idiots. "Right now we don't have enough people on our side that you 2 can afford to go blasting the crap out of each other. If we survive, you can kill each other after we've beaten the Collectors, OK? Sheesh." <_<

I think Jack could take it. But it would ****** Miri off no end to have him yell at her! (we all know who the REAL 2nd in command is.)

janeym... those are some massive walls. It's a shame that you couldn't get your flight...

Walls of text are nice and all, but they're not the most swallow-able thing... especially in the morning rush before school and lunch break. And then I'd have forgotten about them when I actually have a more leisurely time...

Also, what you said Garrus would say to the fight... I think that's the gist of what Renegade Shep says to settle things between them, actually...

I'm a little hesitant about posting it, but I don't know who this song stands on. The lyrics could apply to a fair few people and a fair few different viewpoints. Does anyone think it fits Garrus?

Despite the song being serious and all, the "claim your right to science" line makes me smirk.

Snipers? I haven't had a problem with them, though they take down my shields a little quickly...

Their tendency to kill me in one or two hits is pretty annoying. And those hoppers - those frog geth jumping everywhere, make it even worse.

I usually manage to get away with one hit from them. The stalkers are alright... though I think most of the time I just pull or throw them when they're in sight. Too bad powers take so damn long to recharge in ME1...

I've yet to have a major problem with Snipers. Though... they do kinda put me on the spot though. They really get me moving if I go slowly. Especially if they're taking down more than my shields. *chortle*

Ah, Aqua! I remember them! XD (as I recall, their album was very good, whatever Barbie Girl and Dr Jones might have lead you to believe Must look it out)

I'd say it might fit FemShep regarding Garrus, more than the man himself, but that's IMO. (she's more of a conscience to him than vice versa)

Sorry about the walls of text. I've no flight to get and no work to be at, and the forum is dead, so I'm keeping busy. lol

Actually, I might get out on a flight tonight, callibrations pending. I could be jigging yet!

I've... *cough* got two CDs and I like all of them... I just know that others consider them a bit... yeah.

Yeah, I was thinking more FemShep to Garrus, but some bits could make me think FemShep to Kaidan about Garrus or Garrus to FemShep...

Nah, the wall of texts are alright. I've managed to get through them now, and they're pretty good, actually. Well, once again, have fun when you do get to go to Belfast. I've never been there, but it sounds like it'll be an interesting trip.

I have never ever lost a crew member to the Suicide Mission. Ever. And I never worry about who is squishie or not. o0

My squad is almost always:

Vents: Loyal Tali

FTL 1&2: Loyal Garrus

Team 1: Loyal Kasumi & Loyal Legion

Team 2: Loyal Kasumi & Loyal Legion(I like her and a sniper and I LOVE Legion sooo...)

Biotic: Loyal Samara

Escort: Loyal Jacob(Always. I want him OUT. Gone. Go away. Go sit on the ship. Shoo)

Reaper Baby: Loyal Garrus & Loyal Kasumi/L.Grunt/L.Thane/L.... you get the idea.

I've switched up characters, taken other people, etc... And no one has ever died in the Hold the Line time. I didn't think it was even possible if everyone was loyal and you picked proper leaders. So... eh? I think I'd hit the roof and swear up a storm if anyone randomly died after all the trouble I went through making them Loyal and KEEPING them Loyal. (I've never NOT been able to Paragon(and Renegade once) Miri and Jack into submission... though I want to take a frying pan to the back of both of their heads for being stubborn b*tches about it. They're both right and both wrong. Shut up and DEAL WITH IT. Though I mostly blame Miri there... She was 'more' wrong, but she's a stubborn Cerberus fangirl and fangirls are hard to deal with. I mean... great, just burned myself.)

Also: Why are we still trying to justify what is game FACT? Garrus is a great leader. Not perfect, but neither is Shepard. But he is inspirational and a tactical genius. The b*llsh*t argument of 'oh, he was in a location with no exits' is just that. b*llsh*t. He closed them off because the little coward who ratted him out had obviously given that information to the mercs. OR there was a chance he had. Holing up was Garrus' best tactical choice at the time. That all three merc groups joined up was something totally out of left field. Had it been one, maybe even two, groups Garrus would have taken them out. He is a good leader and a strong personality able to inspire others and gain their loyalty. He cares, he works hard to do right by those with him and those that need someone to look out for them. He doesn't shirk his responsibilities or his duty. He doesn't hide or avoid blame when something goes wrong. He's a fantastic leader.

Oooh I come back to all this talk of the suicide mission and I just got done loading up an old save on my dudeshep just so I could kill everyone Image IPB Something so satisfying about sending Jacob through the vents. Unfortunately, I lost Garrus to the swarm D:! I meant to have him die with Tali at the final fight...I was banking on them to take Thane. Bah.

BUT ANYWAY my point is, I did it because I have a serious sad today with things going on IRL but this thread just never fails to make me feel better. I love you guys and I'm not even drunk (YET).  Image IPB

And my Shepard got everyone toasted on Torfan and she's one of the best gat dang leaders I've ever seen. I'ma juz sayin. Image IPB

I think I prefer this one when I think of Mr Vakarian - I think it fits the romance well (IMHO)

@Kotori I've only lost Zaeed by accident, and that was his own damn fault. I have done deliberate fail throughs though. (people always ask why. Sometimes it's in the name of RP. Sometimes it's cos I'm in a bad mood. lol) My next intention is to do one whre everyone bar Kasumi and Garrus die: that way Shep and Gar can fly around the universe being in love, and Kasumi can comment on how cute they are. XD

@Soltana I hope you're OK. Garrus Dance always makes me feel better.

Garrus to the swarms is a bad way to lose him (if you have to). The gut-shot, or getting crushed deaths are more emotional, but so SAD!:crying: The screaming for the swarm death though.... interesting sound file. ahem.

I can't help but dance along with Garrus when see that video! Garrus is so funky fresh.

I'm okay, I just found out the Air Force is sending us to a base in New Mexico just a few minutes away from my old hometown (It's not a good thing) and I am sooo disappoint for my kid. Not a good place to grow up and we're stuck there permanently. Plus my in-laws are there, hur hur.

Yeeeeah when the swarm took Garrus I uh...did NOT turn the volume up on my speakers...ahem. Image IPB

Also, here's another song that makes me think of Femshep/Garrus. I've mentioned it before but never linked to it. It has the word REACH in it! Image IPB

Awwww Janey, those ashes are still messing up flights? :(

I still haven't finished my kill-off-the-humans PT, but I think I want to keep Zaeed and Kasumi alive. I just want some squadmates dead to see what kind of 'dire ramifications' it might have on ME3. But I'll never kill off Garrus. NEVAAAA.

Ehhh, I don't have much to say right now.

The oil spill in the Gulf has overshadowed the volcano in Iceland here in Texas, so I had no clue it was still fowling things up over there.

I really don't understand some people's assertions that Garrus wasn't a good leader.

Couldn't decide which Garrus wallpaper to use on my desktop this morning. There are so many good ones. Which one is on yours?

My desktop is a slideshow made up of my own screenshots and various fanart. I MUST add the Garrus and upside-down Anderson unicorn Normandy cake with random heat sinks to the collection. Mmmm...frosting. And Garrus. Mmm frosting and Garrus.

I'm not sure how to post pics in a thread, but I decided on the screenie of 'meeting' Archangel, where he's perched on some rubble holding a gun. For some reason when you first see him on Omega he seems to give off the impression of being very large, strong, and powerful. Love that.

My background is that salarian on Miranda's loyalty mission. You know, from the Renegade interrupt. :0 puts a smile on my face.

Reposting something I wondered a few pages ago in hopes of discussion (I know there's some fandom overlap here!)-- it would make sense for Sidonis to go into community service, right? Since he can't actually be arrested? Depending on how you play, you can push someone else towards community service.

So what if he met Kolyat?

For some reason I'm picturing a weird buddy-cop type relationship, with Sidonis as the world-weary 'I seen some sh!t, kid' one.

I wonder what would happen if garrus saw sidonis behind a cell in C-SEC or doing community service. Would he "slow him down a bit" or would he have a little chat with him like what thane had with his son?

Trippy pic is the very best Garrus artwork out there. No one can deny its greatness! Mmmcake.

Sidonis/Kolyat: I don't know if Sidonis will be doing community service. The Citadel can't do much about it, so I imagine him being free to go where he likes. And of course he will find a good way to make it up to Garrus in ME3. Yeah, I really hope we'll see him back in a nice way.

Teaming up with Kolyat is fine too. Anything to see Sidonis back ^_^

This I don't know. Depends on how much time has passed, I guess. He thanks you for helping him with the Sidonis issue, but he never mentions it again, as in: I am satisfied now or I changed my mind and I don't think we should've let him live. But slowing him down a bit... nah. I don't think so. A little chat... dunno. Maybe he'll just ignore Sidonis.

I doubt that he'll ignore sidonis. Hes going to most likely do something. Maybe old memories of his dead squad would come back and he would grab him by the throat and slam him against the wall. Maybe he might ignore sidonis, but sidonis most likely will not ignore garrus.

Sidonis might want to start a conversation with Garrus. Garrus letting Sidonis live grants some forgiveness to Sidonis, which might help him out of the big depression he was in when you met him during the LM. How Garrus will react will probably depend on what Sidonis is doing at the time. If Sidonis is doing something useful, whether it's community service or he got a new job, ranging from trash collector to C-Sec, whatever, I think Garrus will be pleased. Not eagerly thrilled, but pleased that Sidonis got back on track. Remember turian culture and their duty to serve the state/protect others etc.

If Sidonis turns out to be a fresh new member of some evil merc squad, Garrus will rage. But I don't see Sidonis taking that dumb path. He's not stupid.
