Gaahhhh, I really want to see turian females in ME3... I really hope BW will give us this. If we're going to Palaven and there are no turian women, I will raaage.
Shepard: "So, this is Palaven?"
Garrus: "Yes. Isn't it beautiful?"
Shepard: "Yeah. I'm missing something, though. Why are there only males on this planet?"
Garrus: "Because all the women just took a shuttle to do some unspecified mission before we landed."
Shepard: "O RLY, BW?!"

LOL "Mutant babies Garrus!!"
haha I thought it was funny and well-written in a crackfic-ish sort of way
and props to you for posting. I would never have had the quad to post anything of mine. Kudos!
HAHAHAHAAA!
Normally mutant babiez make me all
Actually, to top off the hilarity, PV would further have a coronary if he introduced his and Shepard's "baby": Grunt.

I haunted there for a while around '06 as my OC Garg, Pearl. It was when I was able to make one of the Gatherings. But if you're refering to Christine's stuff, that would be the awesome fanfic'r I'd be referring too. ^.^ She's a pretty awesome person too. Her and CrzyDemona. XDWarlordFil wrote...
Silentstephi it sounds like you and I know some of the same people, re: gargoyles fandom, fanfic, etc...you weren't ever on the Station 8 boards, were you?
Pillows: I imagine Garrus sleeps permanently on his side. I can't sleep on my back, though for me it's got less to do with a headful of spikes and more to do with stomach discomfort, needing to sleep with my knee up on a pillow, etc. I have no idea how the cuddle scene from Shep's cabin would actually work in practice.
Mordin's Bottle Opener: Is Awesome, Enough Said
Fiction in general: The internet is big, everyone starts somewhere, and if you have haters, tell them to frig off and go read something else, being as the internet is free an' all.
Why do I have this weird desire to make a turian pillow in my brain? I don't get it...
Yes, the internets is big, wide and full of interesting things. And reminds me of the ctrl alt del comic... XD

I've told a few people to frig off, particularly those who don't like my cooties in their Halo. Funny, the haters seem disappointed when my major reaction is "so read something else, the internet has much variety to offer you."
I'm writing for my own pleasure first and secondly for that of those who want to read my stories.
Pretty much anything you do in life leaves you open to haters, so I don't really waste much of my time thinking about them. I have better things to do.
Haters: not to be mistaken for constructive criticism, which can be useful, and is about the story, not a personal attack on the person writing it.
...damn, I love what tvtropes says about the ME fandom on "All Fanfic Writers Are Girls"
(IRL, ended up meeting my husband through fanfic....at least ONE is not a girl...)

Yea I realize the hanar areevilspace jellies, but even if they're all single sex, we don't know. No codec entry to tell us if they have gender. Be interesting to know.
We know drell have females, but since Thane, Feron and Koylat are the only ones we've seen in cannon, hard to think what their fems would look/be like.
Still... want fem turians. So bad. My favorite OC has gender identity crisis over this fact!
Would you like to 'meet' Charla? Not as good as the real thing, no picture yet (because nobody will draw her for me), but I have a physical description as well as a psych. profile.
Charla is female turian from my fanfic. Again, I don't have an actual picture yet (sorry, nobody will draw her), but I have a good description (based on what I hope turian females look like), and a psych profile. If you want to 'meet' her, let me know.
Also, sorry it took so long to respond, I just got back.

LOL. That would be awesome. Too bad BW doesn't consider Grunt as Shep's adopted son... Oh well, Grunt is still my baby in my fantasy haha. Garrus dating a human Spectre and adopting a baby krogan... Papa Vakarian will die instantly.

As an aspiring writer myself with dreams of one day being a professional author, I personally prefer criticisms to compliments. It's more useful, telling me what could be executed better and what I did wrong, than just saying "Hey, I like it!".
Of course, non-specific criticisms like "LOL U SUK" or other things that don't give me any new insight from a fresh perspective aren't useful, but... I generally believe that good criticism is the best thing you can give to a writer.

Ah yes, "jig dancing". The presentation of extreme happiness by Garrus fangirl Janey. We have dismissed that claim.
Did you ask the band to sing Rare Old Mountain Dew?
I won't be sticking around for 700.. I'm still one hour ahead of you and tired

Sure. Should I just pm stuff to you or add 2 more pages to the thread with her descriptions?
OR: I could try to roleplay it.

"•Despite the relative youth of the Mass Effect fandom, the sheer number of Garrus/Female Shepard fics out there is rather impressive, especially considering a female Shepard is pretty much a ready-made self-insert, and Garrus is an avian alien with a naturally-occurring tribal warrior facemask and who is only vaguely humanoid. " - www.tvtropes.org
Just thought I'd throw that out there.
In other news, I have nasty chest-gunkage and now sound like a Drell when I talk. DH was kind enough to point this out to me.

I did and they did!
If only they'd sold mountain dew at the bar. Had to settle for wine. Now I'm stealing my mate's internets. Couldn't go a day without y'all and Garrus - how
I think I may not survive to 700 either. I'm sleepy.

I'm going through the Archangel recruit mission right now, on Hardcore. OMG IT'S DIFFICULT.
But I'm AAAALMOST done. I couldn't do this as anything but Vanguard, but damn it, close combat usually means a dead Shepard /grumble grump
Can't wait to have Garrus in my squad instead of him just pea shootin' on the side lines

Quick question...how do I insert images into message? I am not sure how and I want to share some Garrus =)
place a [i m g] at the front (without the spaces between letters) then your link, then at the end put [/ i m g] (again, no spaces, that was only so they would show up.)
EX: [i m g]http://www.garrus.com/image[/ i m g]
