LOL! You should do Garrus romancing Garrus too, if that's possible.

Oh lawdy. I think you just gave me nightmares (interspersed with giggling). I can't look at it without seeing Garrus just... devouring Jacob, in a not fun and sexy way.

On another note, did anyone else notice that with the appearance pack Garrus-wear, that his.. headset actually seems to screw into his fake-ear-bandage?  I accidentally swung my camera over to it while playing and it's definitely just sticking out of his head, attached onto that circle in the bandage.  Does that cybernetic ear actually go far in?  I honestly only ever viewed it as a bandage/hearing aid equivalent.  Thoughts?  (unless we've already discussed this)

Also, how come humans are pretty much the only beings in the galaxy with ears?  Wouldn't that mean that human hearing is likely to be way better than say the asari or turian, since they all just seem to have holes in their heads.

Dolphins have one of the best hearing of all animals, yet they don't have protruding ears.

Already did it!  From page 322:

Some videos of Arc of the Covenant Garrus in action.
I forgot I had my mic plugged in so you get to hear the ambient noise of my room, my broken chair, and me laughing.
Heading to the Omega 4 relay
Seducing himself
I need to figure out a way to capture longer videos.  Any program recommendations?  The free version of fraps only lets me record 30 seconds at a time.

Okay, I laughed. I know I probably shouldn't have, but somehow gay (semi-)porn starring Garrus and Jacob is hilarious.

Maybe it's just because it seems so out of character for both. Dunno.

Someone needs to find a suitable free video capture program for Ray prompto so we can see the full video of characters recruiting and romancing themselves. Or Garrus' face spazzing out and being a zombie

Or just a working crack of Fraps.  I tried googling fraps crack on google and promptly downloaded a virus.

Oh really? I never knew that   I've been living a lie!   Is that an actual scientific fact (having to do with their ear structure) or more to do with the fact that they're primarily in a liquid environment, since I know sound waves travel a lot faster in water, I don't know about any other factors.   I know that human sight is actually pretty backwards and pitiful (regarding inefficiencies and redundancies in the movement of information) I wonder how that would compare to other species. i.e. are humans the trichromats (did I spell that right? trichromatics?  I don't know, :P) in a galaxy of tetrochromats. Maybe that's why turians have such bad fashion sense, because they're seeing colours we can't -- so what looks tacky to us is SO STYLISH to them.

Try this

Oh, and yea...there are plenty of virus sites trying to lure people with promises of free stuff.

That's the interesting thing I noticed when I started switching Shepard's face for Garrus's. When it's properly matched (off the Normandy) there are a much wider range of expressions than they ever make regular use of. You see it sometimes in the other turians. Sidonis's "OH SHlT" face, for example. I need to make a video of "Garrus" getting drunk at the Citadel, it's pretty funny.

This makes me think that Garrus - and most other turians - are really good at controlling their facial expressions. Maybe in their culture, expressing emotions openly is frowned upon, so they learn to control their expressions from a young age?

@Ray - If you're still looking for a clean, full-version of Fraps, PM me. If not, just ignore this :P

I don't think Turians go that far. Generally speaking from the codex you get the impression that Turians can do whatever they want if it's not criminal or impeding their ability to do their duty.

There are other animals with no protruding ears that have better hearing that humans and cats, etc do. Yea, humans do have pretty poor sight compared to other animals. Also, I have no idea about tetrochromats =p Maybe Bioware will get more into alien biology in ME3...as it is we don't know all that much.

Yeah, I think Garrus is generally just more on the stoic, guarded side.

So you want videos of regular Garrus, or monster Garrus?

And thanks, Chimervera, I got what I needed.

Either or. I'm just tickled by the idea of characters recruiting themselves or gaining their own loyalty, or romancing themselves. Monster Garrus would work in general though. Particularly for the Thane romance, if you remember...there is kissing. Or perhaps zombie nomming in Monster Garrus' case.

Actually regular Garrus still looks pretty weird on the Normandy anyway. I will make a video of monster Garrus and Thane and then upload it tomorrow.

Their culture, from what we have seen, seems to have a strong emphasis on self-control - at least while on-duty. Maybe it stems from that? Most turians that we see display very little emotion, though that could be more due to the types of turians we encounter rather than an indication of the race as a whole. Still, Garrus!Shep shows us that turians can display a wider range of expression than we usually see, and it makes me curious.

Well, apart from the mandibles, there isn't really much turians can do to express emotion. Their facial structure seems to be pretty rigid. Heck, in ME1, Garrus' didn't move his mandibles at all, which made his increased expressiveness in ME2 that much more awesome. I remember thinking "theeeere we go, finally!" when I first saw him speak in ME2.

And man, those Zombie!Garrus/Jacob pics are the stuff of nightmares...At first, when I saw the pic of Garrus with his head retracted into his collar, I thought he was supposed to be thinking something like "zomfg, shirtless Jacob, MY EYES!!!!"...

...and then I scrolled down...

...it's a good thing it's broad daylight outside.
