Has anyone been following the recent Cerberus Daily News series about the turian colony of Taetrus? In the latest article, they mentioned finding a young turian female (named Octa) who had "no injuries other than scratches on her carapace and some loss of hearing."

I know a while back people were discussing whether or not turians had a carapace, so I figured that at least one person would be interested.
Who knows, maybe this means they're putting more thought into the turians ready for ME3? No? Well...I can dream


There was also a rescue worker named Saren.

Their facial structure seems to be pretty rigid. Heck, in ME1, Garrus' didn't move his mandibles at all, which made his increased expressiveness in ME2 that much more awesome. I remember thinking "theeeere we go, finally!" when I first saw him speak in ME2.

And man, those Zombie!Garrus/Jacob pics are the stuff of nightmares...At first, when I saw the pic of Garrus with his head retracted into his collar, I thought he was supposed to be thinking something like "zomfg, shirtless Jacob, MY EYES!!!!"...

...it's a good thing it's broad daylight outside.

Like I say, when you switch Garrus's face for Shepards so that he's doing all of Shepard's emoting, it's pretty expressive.  As for the first game, I remember he smiled and laughed if you had him with you when you talked to the soldier in the Presidium about the consort.  "You've never actually seen her, have you?"

That's interesting. Why did I never think of recruiting him before doing this bit?...I always had Ashley saying that part. Ugh.

...methinks I might try to experiment at some point.

It was something that was posted ages ago, I think there were a lot of members wanting it to be finished actually. It looked like it was going to shape up to be a good pic, actually.

Got a question... who thinks the Milky Way is the only galaxy the
Reapers, well... reap?  I mean, do you think they're visiting the
Pegasus or Andromeda galaxies every 50,000 years, too?  Would they be
going after the Wraith eventually?  Or the Asgard?  Or the Jedi? (Just
a couple of examples for thought.)

I'm not sure about that, actually, but it seems quite likely that they take over all the galaxies, but since the Milky Way seems to be the area that all society is focused/centred around, they probably overtake that first.

As in, they're not sleeping for 50,000 years but it just takes them 49,900 years to finish up their business with all the other galaxies and get back around to us?


I could buy into that idea.

Naw, even with FTL, it'll actually take around a million years (2.3 million ly to reach Andromeda from the Milky Way) for the reapers to arrive and such. That was why they needed to activate the citadel in the first place, so they can get to the galaxy instantly. But, I think, they just wait in dark space just to sleep.
