aaaand this is perhaps one of the best banners on the forums.
Thank you!
Seriously Chimervera, that's dedication, making that banner. You obviously invested a lot of time. If Eradyn doesn't get a chance to start the v3.0 Garrus thread, I nominate you.

The only thing it doesn't have is a guide to catching/being catched. <_<
LJ post is here.
With the recent SM talk, I figure at least some of you might find it interesting.
Unfortunately, I don't get a choice in the matter, what with it being my last year. Can't change subjects and it's too late to switch schools <_< Not that they'd be any less strict anywhere elsekglaser wrote...

I agree, there are a lot of scenes I love in this game. I knew I should stop Garrus at some point from killing Harkin but he sooooo deserved it.Collider wrote...
Garrus in his loyalty mission with Harkin is one of the best scenes in the game IMO.
Ohhh, even more so if you replay ME1...that drunk Harkin hitting on femShep is so freaking gross...
I yelled at the TV, "YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE IS BAD FOR BUSINESS? A BROKEN NECK!!"
oh sure he didn't have a clue what I meant, but it made me smile. LOL!
I know this is late in the convo but kglaser doesn't have the corner on catch-ups!!
Anyway, I had Garrus with me back when Harkin tried to hit on my FemShep, and she suggested if he called her Princess again he'd be picking his teeth up off the floor. Later when Garrus goes to shoot Harkin, I like to think that it has as much to do with what happened in ME1 as anything else.
Even what Garrus says later about him if you say you think he was a little hard on Harkin: "You don't think he deserved it?"

On the ME LJ comm today they posted scans from a magazine - it's a guide to the SM, and apparently the info is straight from Bioware. It has data such as who dies if you don't upgrade the Normandy, in order of likelihood, the order in which squaddies during the "hold the line" part are likely to die, etc.
The only thing it doesn't have is a guide to catching/being catched. <_<

That's a good guide but they forgot to mention Legion has a chance of death in the vents even loyal and with an appropriate fire team leader if you did not buy his sniper rifle.
I'm also fairly sure they got the order wrong on who dies to shield failure while flying, I think Tali eats it before Legion does (though I am not certain how Kasumi changes things since pretty much all my suicide mission ruins are from before she was downloadable).
But meh, I digress. A useful guide nonetheless.

I've never thought about who would make a good voice actor for Papa Vakarian before, but I like this suggestion.Jackalope wrote...
So...I just got back from the David Bowie thread, which actually is pretty amusing. It's interesting some of voice work involved with ME. Anyways, right now I'm watching a documentary with Jeremy Irons narrating.
Seriously, I vote Irons for Papa Vakarian.

And damn, 10 pages to catch up on since yesterday. Game was so exhausting yesterday - every tripped over all the plot threads I had out there /flail
Didn't get home until 230am. Nyar...
I don't know who I'd want for PV's VA... I like Jeremy Irons... /ponders

As for a VA for Papa Vakarian, I saw Alan Rickman suggested earlier, and I fully support that option.

Or *GASP* Samuel L. Jackson.
VAKARIAN SR.: Alright, I've had it with this motherf**king Spectre dating my motherf**king son!
...On second thought, forget about Samuel L. Jackson.
Okay, now I should really get back to writing my mandatory FemShepxGarrus before-Omega-4-relay-fic-that-doesn't-contain-any-smut-because-I-suck-at-writing-it thing. Yeah.

*snip*Awesome. You gotta wonder why nearly all alien species have 3 fingers. It's only batarians and asari who have 5, yes? Drell have an...inbetween version, lol.

To quote me from page 695:

Such...a bizzare. Picture.
Guh.
So,
is it just me, or am I missing a race here:
3 Fingers -
Salarian
Turian
Quarian
Vorcha
Volus
Hanar
(it's at the end of the tenticle)
Krogan
Elcor (hard to see but
thank you Elcor bouncer!)
"4" Fingers
Drell
5 Fingers
Humans
Asari
Batarians
Notice
all the non 3 finger races pretty much share body models
I think it probably stems from artists going... 3 fingers are easier to make look natural! Er something like that.
