It's different for turians though. She jumped for joy when that turian in Chora's Den seemed interested, and was hopeful when Aria said she should find a man and the turian next to her was scooting around in his seat, acting like he was inviting Shepard to sit in his lap. xD Then he did this gesture like "oh, I give up on you" when Shepard was walking into him/the couch in a sad attempt to defy the game's physics.

The way I remember Sha'ira, she was mildly disappointed when you asked her for sex. She thought you were a better person, and were only after her gift of words, but no... everyone only wants one thing with her. So... this is one of these dialog options that leave both parties uncomfortable. I promptly reloaded.
*sniff* I like Sha'ira.
Back on the topic of this thread, heal the scar. Each time I look at Garrus, I think he should be back at medbay, not running around. Now, some traces should remain, like the one on Mordin's cheek, or maybe even Zaeed, but that's it.

Shiala doesn't hit on you quite as...agressively as the Consort, though. "Maybe someday, when I'm not busy with the colony, and you're not busy doing...whatever it is you do...we could...get dinner sometime?" I thought it was kinda cute.Kim Shepard wrote...
Some of my Shepards get annoyed very easily when characters that they're not interested in try to flirt with them. o_o; In Shepard #2's case, she didn't choose the "that's it?" option, and already didn't like the consort before that. She only did the mission to help out the turian and the elcor. I've also heard that Shiala (she's the one from the thorian, right?) flirts with Shepard too, and I can't imagine her not Renegade-punching Shiala.
You might be interested to know that the ad poles in the Citadel have an ad for the Dark Star club, inviting you to come for drinks, fun or a little 'companionship'...and the ad is done by a turian (for males, it's an asari). This and the 'out on the town with Officer Vakarian' ad...STOP BEING IN MY MIND, GAME.
Had this conversation with my (male) friend after seeing it:
"You are way too obsessed with turians."
"Hey, I'm only interested in one turian. I just think they're a cool species."
"I'm just saying, it's kind of creepy."
"So how many times have you romanced Tali now, anyway?"
"..."

"...so how's your Insanity game going?"

Aww, when does Shiala say that? I've never heard her say that before!
And I love the 'out on the town with Officer Vakarian' ad. It made me giggle and glance in Garrus' direction.

The ads add a great little touch of depth to the game; they made me wonder about Shepard doing her taxes. *claim all of the squad members as dependants* "Hey, I AM responsible for your feeding, outfitting, and apparently all of your goddamn emotional problems, too."

-Okay. I know everyone who was 'unfaithful' to their ME1 LI probably wants to see a little skirmish between their two love interests. Not the polite confrontation between Liara/ME1 LI, we want a -brawl-! As Joker says, "Take pictures!" I would pay good money (in the form of video game purchases) to see Kaidan and Garrus have at it. Doesn't have to be a long scene, and can have a literal Paragon interrupt, to intervene (but who the heck's gonna do that? >
-Garrus's father. We meet him, but surprise! Your Paragon/Renegade actions from the last two games figure in to how he reacts to your relationship. Personally, I see some unspoken issues in Garrus (mom murdered by someone who got away w/ it, anyone?) that make his father act the way he does toward his son (blocking Spectre candidacy, etc.). So, if you're Paragon and have been steering in the right direction, Dad is all, "Garrus needs someone like you to keep him flying right. Take care of him." If you're Renegade, it's more like, "Get away from my boy, you skank! For his own good!" Of course, that would open up even more fun dialogue options ("It's because I'm a human, isn't it?!" "No, it's because you're an evil ****!")
Anyway, I don't know how closely the developers comb these threads- if the read through them or just check to see how popular each character/concept is....but maybe could this go up on our wish list if enough people agrees? O_O

Heya. I didn't see this on the "Garrus wishlist" so I thought I'd slip in here with my first post and make a suggestion for Garrus/ME3. == Rather, two suggestions:

Garrus vs. Kaidan would make my day!!
i also really like the idea of meeting his father, that could get very interesting!!
@Faerlyte - i completely agree with you. His scars are apart of him now and they just make him look like the bad ass we all know he is! Not that Garrus wasn't fine w/o his scars, but i like them.... the rough exterior is a complete plus in my eyes.

I vote for Kaiden vs Garrus too. My shepard would just sit there, roll her eyes and enjoy the show, or she might kick both their bums herself. I think Garrus would enjoy getting his bum kicked.
I really want to go to Palavern and see his dad too. Heck I want to go to Palavern period. Maybe they'll finally draw a female Turian.

Wouldn't really think of Garrus as renegade, he still has morals even if the past two years changed him a bit.

Garrus vs. Kaidan is a must!
Back on topic, I'd also love to visit the turian homeworld, and meet more Vakarians, especially Papa...
I like to think of Garrus (and Shep) as paragade myself.

I don't think of renegade as having a lack of morals as much as doing what's necessary to get the job done. I don't really even think Garrus changed that much over the past two years. yes he experienced some things that damaged him, but he's still the same Garrus; he wants to help the helpless and get rid of the baddies, but you don't have to be paragon for that to be the case.... at least not imo

And just for the record, I don't hate him. I just found his romance sorely lacking....kinda like his personality.

As far as Palaven goes, I don't think I actually care too much about that, but with as much as we've heard about Garrus' dad, I think we need to see the rigid SOB. And no, I doubt your alignment would matter, your being human would matter more.
I don't think that's a bandage over Garrus' ear, I think that's the cybernetics Jacob mentions.
I started a new game on my canon Shep just to give one of the other LI's a chance, specifically Jacob this time, and I'm having trouble justifying why she'd look at him and not Garrus. *sigh*

It made me feel worse for Garrus than before. The face is bad enough, and he'll have to worry about how he looks for the rest of his life (I don't think Garrus is particularly old)--just think what a problem that will be for him if you're playing Male-Shep or your Fem-Shep is not romancing Garrus.
Also, I'm in agreement that the loyalty armor should've been repaired. It isn't as if they didn't have a model of undamaged Garrus armor that they could have reskinned/recolored. He starts out with undamaged armor, after all.
As for meeting Garrus's dad, I had an idea a couple days ago about how that could be pulled off in a way that didn't just cater to the Garrus romance fan crowd, but now I can't really remember what it was. Clearly, at least to me, you'd need some real reason. Maybe it would be Garrus's personal quest in ME3, or maybe Mr. Vakarian is a big-shot in turian society and you need his support to get a turian army at your back. Either way, the fact that Garrus and Shepard are "together" should not be the primary purpose of meeting Garrus's dad. Garrus might, however, introduce Shepard as his mate, presuming that the whole "if you cheated" thing doesn't split your Shepard up from him. That might be fun, if only because Shepard might be a little surprised to learn that Garrus considered her such... and nevermind Garrus's father's surprise. Now, having him react a bit differently to Shep after hearing that they're together, I can understand. It might make any negotiations easier, or it might make them harder, depending.
