I agree 100%. The entire game was recruiting the team and as you said helping them out, and making them survive, invalidating that by not making the love interests squad mates again makes most of ME2 absolutely worthless. And Garrus has zero other places to go...he could fight criminals again, but that would make no sense in context of his character. Garrus was always the one who knew the big picture - Saren/Reapers in ME1 and Collectors/Reapers in ME2. Shep is the best thing that Garrus and Tali have left.LOLandStuff wrote...
I didn't spend my time in ME2 recruiting the entire team and helping them with their problems just to have them go in ME3. I can see Kasumi and Zaeed leave since they've been paid to help you with the collectors. Samara perhaprs, she said she'll help you with the SM and then go all "smite evil" on whatever planet she wants.

a) Garrus and Tali being in ME3 and how you would feel if one or both wasn't in
Even if Garrus and the rest are not in ME3, I will still buy and play it. When I'm finished, I will crawl to a corner and cry for the rest of the week.
Thane surviving or not surviving to ME3
I think he survives. I still think ME3 will start where ME2 ended, so there's no time for him to die.
c) Turian facial tattoos - are they paint or real tattoos?
I think those are real tattoos. Garrus got half his face blown off but the tat is still there. I think his face would be pretty sensitive with that wound, so applying make-up everyday might not be the best thing. (but of course it's Garrus, he doesn't feel pain)
d) Do Turian politicians on the Citadel change their colony tattoos to something else?
My guess: No. But I have nothing to base my opinion on.
e) Should Garrus still have his scars in ME3?
I already gave him fixed armor, so he can keep the scars. Would be nice if he went to Wrex and started bragging about it. ^^
f) Garrus armor DLC - worth the money? Does it look good?
I still don't like the brownish part

No offense fellow talimancers, but some of your friends in the tali thread were rather rude =/. But you two are cool.
We have our bad days.
Today happpens to be one of them.
But anyway, back to Garrus.
What's with the eyepiece? That thing still works?

He could always get another if the one he had before broke.

Probably removable...would be the most convenient that way.Deadeas wrote...
Question: Is Garrus' eyepiece/visor attached to him surgically or is it removable?

Asked because it would explain why we never see him remove it or without it on, even during the romance scene.Collider wrote...

But when you look at the back of his head, it looks like it's attached to his head. But that's the same thing with the Shepard visors (correct me if I'm wrong).
Garrus just never bothers to take it off.

She clearly asked him to leave it on.

I would probably just the rent the game. That way Bioware doesn't get my $60...or I just borrow the game from a friend after they've finished.Cerrydd wrote...

Yea I think ME3 will start shortly after ME2 too. The ending kinda seems like that anyway, your whole team is looking at you like they'll march into hell with Shepard and back.I think he survives. I still think ME3 will start where ME2 ended, so there's no time for him to die.
That's a really good point. They probably are real tattoos then, I hadn't considered that.I think those are real tattoos. Garrus got half his face blown off but the tat is still there. Yea that'd be a great way for some banter. Which is sorely needed for ME3.I already gave him fixed armor, so he can keep the scars. Would be nice if he went to Wrex and started bragging about it. ^^
Still debating myself whether to buy it because I'm not sure I like the color scheme. Would definitely buy it if it was fixed blue armor, but then again Bioware probably wouldn't want to do that since it's basically already in the game.I still don't like the brownish part
. But at least it's fixed, I like the orange scouter and the blue glowing lines.

Was probably easier for the modelers just to make it that way. Maybe Garrus was so caught up in impressing femShep that he didn't notice =pCerrydd wrote...
Since you get a different colour visor with the DLC armor, I'd say it's removable.

a) I don't think I could justify calling the game Mass Effect 3 without them.
c) I figured they were tattoos.
d) Maybe it's more along the lines of certain clans having an affinity for politics...?
e) Yes. Remove the bandage though.
f) I don't like it.

I think there's a mod out there with the fixed armor in his default or loyalty colours. If you're playing on PC, of course.

Yeah, I think he's just used to wearing that thing all the time. I sometimes step into the shower with my glasses on. He stepped into a romance scene with his visor. Can't blame him

a) Garrus' father - would he ever approve of Shepard being with his son? Only if Paragon, or never? Would whether Shepard accepted Spectrehood in ME2 have a factor?
c) How do you think paragon or renegading Garrus will affect how he is in ME3? A little? A lot? How do you want it to play out?
d) Do you think we will be able to recruit races against the Reapers in ME3? Would do you think about that? Is it too much like Dragon Age?
e) Elevators or loading screens?
f) If you could have designed Garrus' DLC armor, how would you design it?

Could work, but why doesn't he have one over the eye that got hit by a rocket?Mr.BlazenGlazen wrote...
thought his eyepiece is equivalent to wearing glasses, maybe he is mildly blind in one eye.
