That's a good question about the scar color too. I was actually thinking about that earlier, esp. the whole blue blood thing.
Well, if anything else, at least I've got a good guide for coloring Garrus' skin plating in a picture I'm working on. It's so difficult to keep Garrus colored consistently, because his face (the only bit of "skin" we ever see on him) is either a lightish tan or a grey-blue tone. So frustrating.
I think it's a light tan, because his neck is a tan color. And if you can see it on the inside of his collar, his carapace is a very dark brown color. It also has a hole blasted through it along with said armor. Makes me wonder if he keeps the busted armor because it can't be removed/is basically welded on.
Welded on as in... he can't remove it at all? How would he be able to change into his civilian clothes, then?
Then again, I'm probably misunderstanding the answer. In that case, never mind. ^^;
That's true, I didn't remember that. 'Cause if you romance him, he does switch to clothes instead of armor.
Incidentally, how on earth would turians get dressed? I mean, they have those huge carapaces, so they can't just pull their shirts on over their heads. Then there are the spurs, so just stepping into their pants would be a problem...
One more Turian mystery. I wonder why they never show any skin aside from their faces. My theory is that they're always fully clothed because of the danger they could be to others. The Codex does say that the things on their legs and that their arms seem capable of ripping through flesh. If they accidentally bump into someone maybe they could cut him and so they are fully clothed to avoid that. I hope it's for another reason. I want to see what is it that their arms, legs and chests look like.
Considering you can romance Garrus, and he'd probably have to get naked to do so, I have my doubts it's because he might accidentally cut someone if he bumped into them. Because, you know, there's probably a lot of bumping going on in the captain's quarters when FemShep romances him.
Just sayin'.
I was thinking that too. It still makes me angry that they never show us their hands or their arms. That should change in DLC or in ME3. I doubt Turians would wear that kind of clothing on their homeworld. They may like warm places but I doubt they like places that are too hot. I remember Garrus saying that Therum was too hot.
