I don't remember...I have to hurry up and finish my ME1 playthrough so I can go back and do all that stuff again with my Garrus-only Shepard. LOL

Meche Shepard don't want no stinkin' Kaidan or Liara. She's shooing them both away with torches and pitchforks. Back, back I say! :D

This happened a few months ago, but when I first introduced my little sister to Mass Effect she started playing it but then I had to go out and run some errands.

When I got back 3 or 4 hours later, the first words out of her mouth are "Can you have a romance with Garrus? Because I can't get this Kaidan guy to stop flirting with me."

My first thought was "YES, I have taught you well...."

On an unrelated note,

Has anybody else been paying attention to the Cerberus news the last few days? Yesterday, there was official confirmation that turians have gizzards...don't know if anyone cares about that and maybe you all already knew it. I had certainly heard it speculated about, but it does open some interesting questions about turian biology. Apparently they swallow food darn near whole. Cerberus news also referred to them having "carapaces." Again I have heard that term thrown around in the fandome but it was the first time I saw it used from a Bioware source. Sorry if this is old news.

I had no idea about that! Perhaps Bioware are acknowledging that people really want to know more about Turians. I'm pretty sure the fanbase will be happy if the following happens;

1. We SEE an actual female Turian (That's the BIGGIE)

2.Shepard visits a Turian homeworld (bonus if it's palaven)

3.( this goes along with 2 really) Turians talking to you about their culture, food, religion, mates, traditions, family life etc

4.More backstory for Garrus, We really don't know that much about his life before he meets Shepard. We know he worked in C-sec and didn't care for it, has a dad he doesn't get on with and he briefly mentions his time in the military.ME2 had only 2 garrus conversations if you didn't romance him and I found myself dying to know more about the guy. That's why I would like ME3 to give the player a chance to talk to Turians from Garrus’s past to fill us in if he won't. For example, his dad, someone he used to work with during C-sec, a Turian from the military that recognizes him etc. It goes without saying that Garrus should talk more himself but it would be a nice touch if you did bump into people who knew Garrus before he became a renegade cop.

On the gizzards thing...I thought those were mostly for grinding up seeds and such for birds since they have no teeth. Turians don't strike me as seed eaters...maybe it's the long, razer-sharp teeth and three inch talons but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say meat eater. So how's a gizzard factor into that? Maybe their somewhat omnivorous but obviously a carnivore's teeth aren't great for chewing so the gizzard only get used when they eat nuts, seeds, etc...or maybe they eat the drumstick bone and all...that's a weird thought...I think about this way too much.

I'll give you a hint. It starts with a garrus and ends with a vakarian.

We'll hit a thousand and it will be a thousand worth reading instead of just:

:wub: *insert character here*   SQUEEE!    and

"OMG.  Bump the thread!  We have to keep *insert character here* thread going!"

Oh and I just pulled off the epic save of the century.  Dropped a full can of Dr. Pepper just now over my computer and managed to snatch it out of the air and only spill one drop on my wrist.  Garrus is rubbing offf on me...

Yeah, but he doesn't visit us much. Although I'd pay to see Lady GarGar fire a rifle.

Lady GarGar should scare everyone. As should ThaneyGaGa and Lady GaGa herself.

I heard that the russian spetnaz can do a front flip and throw an axe and hit/kill a target.

I heard garrus does target practice with them.

Guys. GUYS. What if...I mean, what are the odds that the latest Cerberus news articles are because of -us-? Like if they pull ideas from things people talk about on the forums. I know it'd be a long shot, but....that, that would be awesome. It's like Kenneth in engineering: "BW- you, you came all the way down into the forums to see us?"

If that's the case, I second EVERYTHING Hyrule_Gal has said. And everything everyone else has said. The more there is, the more likely one or two tidbits will make it into ME3. It's true because I believe it.

On that note- Yay! My doppelganger! Long time no see. ^_^

Guys, i hate to break your bubble, but it says on the cerberus daily news website that they are not owned by bioware, and they are just really big fans.

But who knows, bioware may pick up on some things.

@aynxalot: Really, that *is* the most info about turians we've had all at one time, in, well, ever. So you might have a point! That's awesome to the point of...I mean, if that's what is really happening...that's...
::headsplosion::
:D

eta: and bubble-bursting or not, I am just really grateful for the information! :D

I operate on the assumption that people at Bioware do pay attention to what people say in the forums. Bioware cares about their fans. They have said that many times and the level of catering to fans that takes place in games like ME2 proves it. There are many different sources form which Bioware can gather feedback and obviously they also look at reviews, sales, and other factors, but what better place to gauge fan reaction and thought than right here on their own forums. There is a treasure trove of speculation, free world-building, and expression of fan interest that Bioware can tape into here. I don't think they're hanging on our every word or anything, but I do think that if a particular opinion is persistent enough or sensible enough someone at Bioware is bound to take note.

Ceberusdailynews.com is not owned or written by Bioware but the daily updates in the game certainly are and that's where the website gets their data from.  They're just writing it down so you don't have to sign into Xbox Live everyday which can be a butt if you don't have a wireless adapter..
