That's because Shep's actions speak louder than words. She touches his scarjaneym27 wrote...
Notice how Shepard doesn't return the favor. We don't get any "Your fringe is...tall. Aand your carapiece is... kinda hard and scaley."
As for "supportive waist", I think he does literally mean that she has good body structure, ie. well-proportioned, rather than fat. Somehow, I can imagine that turians would find a sound body structure/musculature attractive, considering how they're a battle-oriented race. He might also mean that she's more solidly built than a turian (heck, Garrus himself probably has a smaller waist than Shepard), which might be a good thing.

Judging by the way that femShep speaks to Jacob, she might compliment his body somewhere in his romance. Her voice makes her sound very forward. When Jacob takes his shirt off she has the silliest grin on her face.Nilfalasiel wrote...

It might also have to do with the fact that women don't tend to be as lavish with compliments as men...at least, from my own experience.
Lol yea, this is how I saw it. I don't think Garrus would be calling Shepard fat, lol.As for "supportive waist", I think he does literally mean that she has good body structure, ie. well-proportioned, rather than fat. Oh, I get that. I've always been a fan of the 'they don't need to say anything at all' take on the relationship. It just makes me laugh that Garrus is clearly going crazy in his head trying to do and say the right thing, and Shepard (as always) is take charge and cool and collected. And I just imagine since Garrus is normally more like that himself, it would almost make it worse for him. Bless. I was just imagineing how one might go about returning the favor (and men do enjoy being complimented, in my experience.
Some fanfic I've read has been OOC to the point of upsetting. Especially the stuff that gets very mushy/sexy with FemShep and Garrus. I have read a coouple where the spieces difference has been explored juuuuust right. And that makes me

By 'fat', I mean that turians are quite wasp waisted, Humans aren't. How does one make the comparison without being insulting? lol

Yea, you are practically forced to say something like "Well it looks like you came through no worse for wear" early on when he talks about leaving the Alliance. It's not even part of the romance dialog! What's more is that is actually the LEAST drooling, provocative thing you can say! The options on the wheel there are like paragon: You look like you are still in top shape, Neutral: I appreciate that you took a stand (which LOOKS neutral but what actually comes out of Shep's mouth is something like "we have a lot in common") and renegade: they lost a good man. So my options are paragon: I like your bod Jacob! neutral: We are so much alike! and Renegade: I respect you a lot! I don't think any of the above and people wonder why so many claim they felt like Jacob was forced on them and Shep acts like a sleaze around him!

I imagine they did it this way because most people choose the paragon option. For the Miranda and Jacob romances, they went for "sexy" and "flirtatious."Yea, you are practically forced to say something like "Well it looks like you came through no worse for wear" early on when he talks about leaving the Alliance. So in the Miranda romance the top ("paragon")options are sometimes quite sexual.
"I just want to get you into bed."
"Oh, I am DEFINITELY interested *crazy insane look*"

@Collider. I actually like that it might be him calling her fat by accident. Makes it all the more adoreable and dorky.

Well maybe broad waists are attractive in turian culture... They would be exotic and rare and the exotic is often considered attractive.

I read a fic where Garrus was examining Shepard's hair out of complete curiosity and remembers that some of the Cerberus people have hair under their arms. He wonders about that and asks quite innocently "Do you have hair someplace besides your head?" That fic was pretty OCC but that made me laugh. Yes, Garrus you should have watched the vids.

The words 'mutant' and 'babies' combined should be censored on this forum.

I read a fic where Shepard had been abducted and someone experimented on her. Then she was pregnant and Garrus was the father.

I heard them on youtube - it's in-game. They're just as funny as male elcor. I had the video once but I can't find it anymore...janeym27 wrote...
See: it's discussions like this that make turian females NECESSARY, dammit! (incidently, there are files for a female Elcor in the Elcor Hamlet advert. Don't remember seeing her on the vid tho...)
