Dunno. We've never met a pair of married turians in the games, so we don't have much info to work off of. It's too hard to determine how they deal with last names, but I'm betting that turians have something similar to marriage. It just makes things more organized.

Yeah! Why shouldn't Garrus take her name? He'll be Garrus Vakarian Shepard. That would be so ridiculously hilarious.
Anyway, I don't see Shepard married, ever. Somehow I would fin her a little too more out of character. I don't get it what's with all the marriage and babies. There are other happy endings and you can live ever after with the LI without being married.

I have come the same conclusion. Most characters in ME are actualy quite likeable. Kaidan is not boring, he is rather smart and calm. Garrus might complain but he does something about the things he dislikes (wich usualy involves illegal assasinations).

(Catchup time for me, so y'all gonna get in the time machine and go back about 11 hours I expect.   )

I'm replaying ME1 now, and I've vowed to try and find what I like most about the people who meant least to me before (Ashley, Kaidan, and Liara) and try to see them all in a new way.  I'd like the Virmire choice to hurt more, for one thing.  Games that make you feel are completely awesome...I can at least do my part.
I'm really enjoying the replay after playing ME2.  If you haven't replayed the first one after playing the second, I highly recommend it.  Gives you all kinds of new perspectives on things and "secret insights" you're not supposed to have yet. LOL

Shepard-Vakarian sounds weird and reminds me too much of Shepard-Commander.

I don't get why people think Shepard would not/should not get married. I really don't. Is it, like, too mainstream of an idea or what?

Guys, i've seen worse story telling then that. I remember reading an incredibly poorly written fanfic when garrus was taken in by a storm and "killed" and three months later shepard was walking on the citadel shopping when garrus caught her in the alley and pointed a gun at her head thinking that she left him for dead. But she told him that she was pregnant with him and he took her to a hospital. I don't even know.....

So Shepard leaves Garrus for dead, runs off heavily and improbably pregnant with his kid, and then decides to go SHOPPING?  WTF?  That is bad.

I have no clue.....it was hard to read with all the grammar mistakes.

I've read a bunch of fic where Garrus just acted like he was retarded. In awe of everything humans did.
There was this fic where he found it weird that humans swim or seeing Shepard wear a short dress. Hell, even eating with a fork and Shepard had to teach him how to use one.
The funniest of them all, was when he was taking lessons in martial arts from Shepard.
But seriously, in many fic Garrus is portrayed as mentally challenged.

He took her to the hospital?  I thought that wasn't a good place for fights.
